Adam's POV

So far another great day at the offices. I called everyone to a meeting in the challenge area. It was the end of a crazy efficient week. So as a reward I'm treating everyone out to lunch.

"What's up Adam?" Max asked as he finally arrived.

"Now that Hell week is over and we are all going to pass out when we get home," I start getting lots of groans of agreement "I am going to treat everyone to a lunch. But we need to pick a place to go. Any ideas?" I asked and everyone was silent.

BAM

The door to the offices was smashed open and I could hear little footsteps racing around.

"Anyone else hear that?" I ask and everyone nods their heads in agreement. "Okay come on guys lets split up and see what happened and who that was." We split up and I went in the direction of the footprints.

After searching I found a little girl. She looked about 5 or 6. She must of seen me since she was backing away. She had blood dripping down her forehead a couple inches above her left eyebrow.

"GUYS I FOUND WHO IT WAS!" I yell as everyone swarmed where the little girl was. "Hey hey it's okay I'm not going to hurt you," I said. I reached for her but she hissed at me as her eyes turned orange while she did so.

"Hi. Oh are you okay we can help you find your parents," Ross said as he approached her. She hissed and fell backwards.

"NO STAY BACK DONT TOUCH ME! YOUR JUST GOING TO HURT ME LIKE ALL OF THOSE GUYS!" She yelled stumbling backwards landing on her back. The blood was dripping down her face and off her chin.

"Em do something," I said.

"Why me?" Em said slightly annoyed by her getting chosen.

"It's cause your a girl and she said that guys hurt her."

"Fine," Em finally gave in and approach the little girl. "Hi are you okay. Come here I want to help," Em said as she crouched in front of her. She hesitated but went over to Em. She picked her up and took her to the IRL do not laugh set and put her on the couch. As she passed us she would hiss and her eyes would turn orange and then back to green.

Why would ANYONE do this to a little girl? That thought echoed through my head as I watched Em sit her down on the couch.

Emily's POV

"Adam get the first-aid kit!" I yelled at him as he just stood there. I looked at the girl and tried to calm her down. She looked me in the eyes and the had tears appearing. I could hear the guys stepping closer and she hissed at them with orange glowing eyes.

"Shh shh calm down. Can you tell me your name?" I asked as she turned her attention to me. She looked me in the eyes before she spoke "My name is Starkensy but call me Star," she grinned at me as I put some of her matted jet black hair behind her ear. She was deathly pail and she was covered in scars and bruises.

"Found it!" Adam called as he came running down the hall. He was going over to us but she hissed and dove behind the couch. Some of the guys laughed as I tyres to get her out from behind the couch.

"Hey Star sweetie can you come out please?" Max asked very sweetly as she poked her head out from behind. He picked her up and put her on his lap while I was cleaning the blood off of her head. "How did this happen to you?" Max asked and she looked up at him.

"My parents and some guys," she said as I wiped the blood off of her forehead. I put some rubbing alcohol on the napkin and she was squirming trying to get out of Max' grasp.

"I know it hurts but it helps," I say as I put the band-aid on her head. She looked up at me and hugged me. She whispered in my ear a thank you.

"Uh guys what are we going to do with Star?" Adam asked and everyone shrugged.

"We can't just leave her on the street dude that's heartless," I said as she was looking at us confused while holding Max' finger. Max smiled and picked her up.

"What no fair she likes Max but not us?" Ross complained.

"Not my fault your scary," Max said as Star put her arms around his neck. She was about 2'6 and had shoulder length hair.

"So what do we do now?" Adam asked as he walked closer to Max and Star. She hissed at Adam and Max put her down.

"Why do you do that to him he isn't going to hurt you. I think?" Max said smirking at Adam.

"F*ck off," he said and I got mad at him.

"ADAM we have a little kid here don't swear!" I said to him.

"Sorry. Not my fault Max is being a butt," Adam said to Max and made him mad. "Hey Max you a MAD Max?" Adam said and Max went chasing after him.

"We going for lunch or?" Tim said.

"TIM!" We all shouted in union.

Star's POV

I watched the guy with the Red hair and the gold necklace tackle the guy who found me. I was scared and hid behind the only other girl here. She looked down at me and I guess she could see I was scared cause she was yelling at them to stop. I hugged her leg and waited. They came back and said they were sorry. I don't know why but the guy with the red hair and necklace seemed nice compared to his very tall scary friends.

I looked up at her and started to talk. Everyone was quiet and that scared me but I continued anyway.

"What are you going to do to me?" I asked as they all started to think.

"Want to go to lunch with us?" The guy who found me asked. I nodded my head and Max was holding my hand. More like I was holding his finger.
