Max's POV

I can't believe her. She had to go through that. I want to go and get something for her. I know it's my birthday tomorrow too but I want to get her something. I went to the closest jewelry and got here a necklace. Gold chain and a S charm on it. It was expensive but I cared about Star a lot I I've known her for two days? Sounds about right. No one has made me feel like this for a long time in a 'big brother/ father' sort of way. I was walking to my car when I got a call from Adam.

M- Hello?
A- Where are you? Star is worried about you and you 'girlfriend' Amy is here and is being fudging annoying! Hurry back soon.
M- Sorry man I was getting a present for Star and why didn't you swear? You have Star around?
A- Yeah now hurry up Amy has already hit someone... (Whimpering in background)----

Adam hung up and I raced to the offices. Who did she hit now? I ran in and Star was turned around talking to Ross. Ross saw me and pointed down the hall while picking up Star and putting the fedora on his head. I went down the hall and there was Amy yelling at Red for some reason.

"Amy!" I said getting her attention. She turned around and I felt a tug on my jeans. I picked up Star and looked at the time. It was almost lunch.

"Maxy!" She yelled running over to me. She stopped infront of me and looked at Star. Adam was behind Amy and Red. I could feel Ross's presence behind me.

"What's with the kid?" She asked she reeked of perfume and burn hair.

"Who Star?" I asked as Star turned to face her.

"Me? I'm Max's girlfriend!" She yelled and I stared at her as all the guys burst out laughing.

"WHAT!" Amy yelled marching closer to me.

"Yeah I am. A girl who is his friend. Not that hard to understand you know," Star said as I placed her on the ground struggling not to laugh.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Amy yelled and slapped Star across the face. She turned around and ran to Ross.

"Okay I have had ENOUGH! You hurt my friends! ME AND NOW YOU HIT A FIVE YEAR OLD! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!" I yelled at her as she hit me.

"HEY LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Star yelled jumping out of Ross's arms and at Amy.

"What are you going to do? Annoy me to death. I never want kids," she stated walking to Star.

"I'm going to do this," Star said ramming her legs she fell over hitting the ground.

"You little bitch!" She yelled grabbing Star and throwing her across the room. Her eyes turned pink and she was up and ran at Amy. I was going to stop them but Ross and Adam were holding my back. Star ended up flipping Amy over and she broke her heels and ran to me.

"Maxy stop her she broke my shoes!" She yelled at me. Stars eyes were pink and she was in a battle stance.

"EM!" Star yelled running off down the hall as Red ran after her. The guys let go of me and I shot infront of Amy. I was resisting that much?

"Good she's gone. Umma call the police and get that kid out of here. She a monster!" Amy pulled out her phone. I took it away from her and held it back.

"Amy no," I said holding it back. The offices door opened. Shelby and Jess walked through with her and her kids. I ignored them and threw her phone on the ground. I smashed it and turned to Amy and started yelling. "YOU'RE THE REAL MONSTER! YOU SLAPPED A FIVE YEAR OLD! THAT IS NOT OKAY!" I heard some gasping behind me but I continued. "UN LIKE YOU I DON'T GO AROUND HURTING PEOPLE! STAR WAS KIDDING SHE DOES THAT TO MAKE US LAUGH WHEN SHE CAN! WE LOVE MAKEING HER LAUGH! YOU ON THE OTHER HAND MAKE IT WORSE! YOU HAVE TOLD ME OF WHAT YOU GAVE BEEN THROUGH AND SHE HAS BEEN THROUGH WORSE AND SHE IS FOUR TIMES YOUNGER THAT US!" I yelled at her as she started to yell at me.

"IM HAPPY YOU FEEL THAT WAY CAUSE I CAME HERE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING I WAS CHEATING ON YOU AND I WANTED TO BREAK UP WITH YOU! WE'RE THROUGH!" She yelled slapping me and running out of here. Her makeup was everywhere dripping onto the carpet. Adam and Ross looked at me with sympathy in their eyes. I didn't care I went off to find Star. Em and Reds office was locked and Star was sitting there next to Red's desk with headphones on. Red and Em were working as Star stared at the ceiling with green eyes. I knocked and Em answers.

"Hey Max," she greeted from the door. She was blocking me from going in and having the door half open.

"Can I talk to Star?" I asked and Red spoke up.

"Not until she is calm and wants to leave!" He called looking down at Star. She looked very tired. I looked at the time and we should get lunch. It was like in que Adam went around yelling 'LUNCH!' Loudly.

"Star," Red said taking off the her headphones. I could hear the musicbox at the waterfall from Undertale.

"You guys ready? We are leaving soon," Adam informed walking by.

"Where are we going?" Red asked walking out with Star in his arms.

"Taco truck."

"Okay I just need to get my jacket. Meet you guys up front," Red said walking off.

"Lets a go!" Adam yelled in a Mario voice walking to the door. We were greeted by Ross, Shelby, Tim, Barney, Jess and her kids Julia and Joseph.

"You okay Max?" Jess asked holding Julia and Joseph's hands.

"Yeah I guess besides my girlfriend cheating on me and losing Star's attention I'm fine," I said looking down. Star walked in and Ross picked her up.

"Ross who's that?" She asked pointing to Shelby.

"Oh that's Shelby my cousin."

"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" Shelby replied smiling brightly.

"Star this is Julia and Joseph. Julia, Joseph this is Star," Jess introduced them and Ross put Star down. Joseph ran over to her and they talked for a bit until Red came.

"Took you long enough!" Adam whined as we walked to the door. Star ran past me and grabbed Adam's hand as they walked out. Adam pulled out his camera as we walked over to the taco truck.

"Hey guys sky here and we are walking to da tacos truck!" Adam said in Barney accent at the end. I looked in my pocket and the necklace was still there in a silk pouch with purple ribbon. I smiled and kept walking. After a while Adam started running with Star chasing after him.

Star's POV

"Adam stop running!" I shouted running towards Adam with the camera in his hand.

"Fine but I need to lose some weight somehow!" He stopped and I ran to him. I grabbed the camera from him and ran towards everyone. "Murx! Take the camera!" I said throwing it to him as Adam picked me up. "Adam why?" I said over his shoulder.

"Max give me the camera!" Adam instructed.

"Nope. This way I won't be filmed and Star said to take it." Max holding it filming Adam.

"Adam put me down! Red!" I shouted as Red took me off Adam shoulders as all the blood rushes to my head. I stumbled over and fell over. Julia and Joseph ran over to me.

"You okay?" Julia asked as Joseph had his hand out. I took it with him almost falling over since I'm older and weighted more.

"Yeah. Thanks Joseph!" I said hugging him as they took my hands as we walked down the sidewalk. I was older than him but he tried acting grown up around me. I was in the middle as Julia was to my left and Joseph to me right. Max walked ahead of us with the camera still recording and Aphmau took pictures of us.

"OHHH JOSEPH IS BLUSHING!" Adam called behind Max as everyone was laughing as we stood there confused.

"Adam! It's November so it's cold out!" I explained and looked over to Joseph who had a bit of pink on his checks. They kept walking but we started to trail behind them.

"We have to hurry up! Come on!" I said dragging them making them go faster. Men started to surround us as we walked.

"ADAM! MAX! RED, ROSS HELP!" I yelled as they whipped around facing us.

"Star I'm scared..." Julia said holding my arm.

"I know everything is going to be alright. STAY AWAY FROM US!" I warned my eyes turning orange and pink. Warning and battle perfect. The guys ran over trying to get to us but getting stopped by those men. One walked over to us as the guys struggles to get through.

"Star..." Julia held to my arm and Joseph stood infront of us.

"What do we have here two little girls and a boy walking alone hmm?" The man said and I pulled Joseph behind me. He took Julia and they hugged. I hissed at the man and he slapped me.

"Shut up you little piece of SHIT!" He yelled at my face as Aphmau started to yell.

"MY BABIES!"
