Max's POV

I haven't been myself since the day Star left. It shows the most on our day birthday, that was yesterday and I can't stop thinking about her. Her smile, her eyes and way of making us laugh without even thinking about her past and her taunts. I'm sitting in my officer looking at her picture she made me. I wish I can just man up and
adopt her when she was in my arms. I rewatch all the videos she was in. Even the ones that weren't uploaded. Now I have no idea where she is and 'Kid Hero' is all anyone talks. Adam went out on some errands awhile ago and everyone else is working while just look at the picture like if I look hard enough she will come back to me. Back in my arms...

Star's POV

After I was sent to the orphanage I immediately was bullied by the older kids that watched the offices videos. That they had me taken away because they didn't want me. I got hurt so often I started to forget everyone. I only remember their names. Nothing that they look like. School is worse as people there also know about me. I watch the videos by myself when the other kids boarded up my room so I couldn't get out. I turned ten yesterday and I have been roaming the streets on certain hours by myself. I have been since I was eight. I went out today and walked to the closest park. I have been talking to Officer Darren almost all the time and he has me put on a list for undercover missions. In return for doing those they pay me, gave me a badge, distress button and a tazer that I can keep with me. I have been doing this for two years. I am known as 'Kid Hero' around the neighbourhood. I have saved seventeen lives and stopped eleven robbings and twenty criminals from escaping. That also ended in a lot of bullying that I spend most of my time at the station with Officer Darren.

As I got closer to the park I started to see a man being followed by a hooded man. I started going over to them riding my penny board I gotten a long time ago aswell as the only shirts that fit me from YouTubers. I got closer and the hooded man stabbed the man walking and ran. I pressed the distress button on my belt with my tazer and jumped the hooded man. Sirens sounded in the background as I had the man pinned. My board rolled onto the road and got ran over into a million pieces. The man wouldn't stop struggling so I tazed him as he flailed on the ground the police pulled up with an ambulance as they were taken away. I went onto the road and picked up the leftover pieces of my board. Getting off as a car passed and picking up the left over piece as I made my way over to the cop car to be greeted by officer Darren.

"Hiya kiddo. Did it again I see," He said ruffling my long black hair and I swatted his hand away.

"Can I get a ride? And a new penny board?" I asked showing him my smashed one in pieces inside my drawstring bag.

"Yes and No. You already used all your money for the week. Next week I'll take you personally Okay," he said as I got into the cop car ridding shotgun. "Hospital or 'Home'?" He asked 'home' meaning orphanage.

"I'm feeling nice so Hospital," I said as he nodded and drove off following the ambulance. We pulled up to the hospital and entered the waiting room. Officer Darren has to stay with me so I don't get swarmed ever since the news showed my face. Multiple people have tried to adopt me because of the 'Kid Hero' thing so I've remained an orphan. Another reason I'm still an orphan. They would use me for fame and getting to say my child is a hero.

We walked inside as the Officer Darren talked to the lady at the desk. After awhile a group of people ran in. Faces covered in tears and a little boy who looked a couple years younger than me holding his mothers arm asking if his Dad would be okay. The boy looked at me as I made my way to Officer Darren.

"ITS KID HERO!" He yelled as I flinched at him yelling. I have a name and kid hero isn't it. I turned to them with a fake smile and waved sheepishly. All eyes were on my as I tugged on Darren's uniform.

"How is he?" I whispered to him as he went back to the lady and back to me.

"He is doing better. Do you want to see him?" He asked looking down at me. I nodded fixing the strings on my bag. He nodded back and a nurse said his name.

"Adam Dalhberg?" The nurse said as the entire group looked up. "Follow me," she said making her way down the hallway. They all hesitated as I walked down with Officer Darren. We entered but stayed at the back as everyone looked at me going to 'Adam's' side.

"ADAM!" They all yelled and I took that as my que too leave. I looked up at officer Darren and he nodded.

"Since everything here seems alright we will be taking our leave. C'mon kiddo," He said leading the way out. He went out of the room as I tried to follow but someone blocked the door with their arm. I kicked the door frame and Officer Darren looked back. "Please let us take our leave Sir!" Darren said sturnly but he didn't move. I am very shy and only talk when I absolutely needed to. My voice reminded me of my past life and I hated it. I only talked at school to teachers and Officer Darren.

"We just want to say thank you Kid Hero," the ginger haired man said holding me from leaving said. I flinched again when they said Kid Hero. Slightly angry I looked back and the man woke up.

"What happened?" He said slowly sitting up looking at me and the man. "Hey kid hero. Red let the kid leave. Thank you so much!" He said I nodded waved and made my way out. (A/N YOU THOUGHT IT WAS MAX! ADMIT IT!)

"Where now?" I asked walking out with him next to me.

"Quest-" he was cut off by a voice from the room.

"THAT VOICE!" I didn't look back I kept walking. A reason I don't talk anymore... (WE DON'T TALK ANYMORE WE DON'T TALK ANYMORE!~)

Adam's POV

I woke up with a pain in my side and everyone around me.

"Where am I?" I said as everyone from the offices looked at me with Alesa and Mason hugging me. I looked around and saw Red was blocking a kid from leaving. It was kid hero.

"Hey kid hero," I started and she flinched when I said that. "Red let the kid leave. Thank you!" I said as she waved taking her leave. We heard them down the hall as she spoke to the cop.

"Where now?" She asked that voice was familiar but I couldn't place my finger on it. Apparently so did everyone else except for Max he shot up and peeked his head out the door.

"THAT VOICE!" He yelled being held back by Red, Ross and Tim.

"Max!" I shouted and he was calm and dragged back into the room. He looked back at me and said what I thought no one would say ever again.
