A game?
Maybe you could miss recording one video for night...work was pretty busy today with all the new releases. It was pretty busy without them, so it wasn't a cake walk at all. You gave a yawn and stretched out your arms before climbing onto the bed and crawling into the covers with a sigh. Your eyes snapped open as you heard a scream come from the bathroom, Sophia's to be exact.
You threw your sheets to the side in a hurry before running to the bathroom and slamming the door open with all your might. You saw Sophia standing on the toilet with a terrified expression on her face, noticing you she pointed to the ground a foot away. Your line of sight followed it to see a small cricket resting on the tile.
"Kill it!" Sophia exclaimed to you. You gave a slight laugh at your friends drama queen self, knowing she was terrified of bugs. You picked up a cup from the nightstand along with a junk mail card and returned to the bathroom. "What? I said kill it, not capture it!" She told you with an exasperated tone.
"Dude, we don't want to kill the poor guy." You chuckle and set the cup over the tiny cricket, carefully sliding the card under it and lifting it up with the cup. "That's bad luck. Also, they eat spiders and stuff." You opened the small window inside your bathroom and let the cricket outside to chirp the night away. A chuckle escaped you as you shut the window close and left the bathroom with a yawn.
"Thank you, (Y/N)!" Sophia called after you while you walked towards the bedroom.
"You're welcome!" You replied and felt yourself want to just drop right there and sleep on the floor. Hell, it'd sure be worth it with how tired you are. After what felt like an endless journey you finally reached your bed and did your whole bed routine, soon burying your head in your pillow and snoozing off.

"Enjoy your game." You said with a smile as you handed the customer their game. You noticed the clock hung up in the shop was telling you it was the end of your shift, a sigh of relief coming from your lips before your co-worker took your place. You picked up your backpack from behind the register and made your way to the exit. Sophia told you she was working over time to earn some extra money, which you would do, but honestly with the annoying prick of a boss you have you don't plan on staying any longer than necessary.
You exited the small shop to see the food court was full of delicious smelling food. It was lunch time for the mall so the small restaurants were preparing their meals for the rush hour. You pulled out your wallet to find you had some cash left to spare, a faint smiling reaching your lips.
"Some ice cream doesn't sound so bad right now," You mumble and make your trek over to the ice cream place, grabbing a bowl of ice cream with some sprinkles. You make your way to a small table with two chairs, an irritated sigh coming from your lips as you sat in one chair and left the other empty, dropping your backpack down next to you. You scooped up some ice cream and decided to eat away your loneliness, watching as families and couples ate with smiles on their faces as laughter rang throughout their conversations.
"Is this seat taken?" You almost choked on your ice cream when you heard his voice, coughing loudly while picking up a napkin and covering your mouth as you kept coughing. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." Cry laughed slightly while he gave your back a few pats and sat down across from you. You smiled while crumbling up the napkin and throwing it into a nearby trash can, giving a sheepish laugh.
"It's okay. I didn't expect to see you again." You tried to control your smile so you didn't seem so excited, but you felt it looked weird to him so you let your joy show. "What brings you to this hell once more?" You asked while leaning forward onto the table and setting your head on a propped up hand. Ryan gave a chuckle before leaning back in his seat and shrugging his shoulders.
"I wanted to see your shop's games. You're shop is pretty popular among the gaming community around here, with the low prices and new releases." He said while smiling towards you. You looked down at your ice cream and felt your appetite had vanished along with all your confidence. You pushed the small bowl to the side and gave a grin.
"Yeah, a lot of people drop by everyday. Many interesting people. One time a guy came in wearing a Master Chief costume, asking to buy a game. I thought I was going insane when I was told a convention was near by." You smiled while laughing and covered your mouth to keep from laughing too loud. Cry gave a laugh as well.
His eyes landed on your backpack, a certain little plastic guy hanging from the zipper of your front backpack pocket. A smile came to his lips when he noticed that, a light laugh emitting from him along with it. You gave a confused expression towards him before following his line of sight to your backpack.
"I see you really are a fan of me." Ryan said while pointing to the little plastic Sup Guy hanging on the zipper of your backpack. You felt slightly embarrassed at that before giving a chuckle and shrugging your shoulders.
"Well, I'm not the only one." You smiled towards him with a slightly warm face at him noticing your little Cry keychain.
"Can I see it?" He asked you with a smile, pointing to it again.
'Don't screw this up...' You thought in your head while smiling towards him and telling him sure. You quickly leaned down to get it so it would be over with already. A sharp pain came to your head when the thud of it hitting the table sounded loudly.
'You screwed it up.' You said blankly in your head with an irritated thought. You quickly lifted your head up with your face heated up in embarrassment, covering your face while laughing lightly to get rid of the awkwardness. Cry tried to hold back his laughs by covering his mouth, but failed when he erupted in laughter.
"I-I'm so sorry for laughing! Are-Are you okay?" He asked through laughs while he leaned across the table and pushed some of your hair back to see if your head was okay. You gave a real laugh too, smiling while pushing back the rest of your hair from your face.
"I'm fine. A little embarrassed, but that's okay." You chuckled and tried to keep your cool. Ryan calmed down in his laughing and grinned before his phone went off. He excused himself and looked down at his phone to give a slight frown. He looked back up at you again with a small smile and got up from his seat.
"I have to go now, but it was fun talking to you." Cry said. Before he was about to leave he turned back to you. He was hesitant about something, but you weren't sure exactly what it was. Ryan gave a sheepish laugh and rubbed the back of his neck. "Um, I just wanted to thank you for the game. No-I mean you're a pretty nice girl who seems to be funny and I was wondering if you would like, oh I don't know, maybe play a video game with me sometime? For my channel of course." He asked you. Was this really happening? Was Cry, the guy girls have fights over, actually embarrassed to ask you to play a game with him? This was awesome.
"Of course. That would be fun." You laughed before he scribbled something down on an unused napkin and handed it to you after he was done. It was his username on Steam. He told you he'll be recording tonight if you wanted to play a game then. You tired your best not to burst into excitement right then. Just think, he probably wants to play a game with his other friends too. Felix, Ken, Russ, Scott! This was so amazing!
~*~*~*~*~*~
You held your breath as the loading screen popped up with the white words 'waiting...' below the loading bar. Your heart rate increased a little faster and you felt a little nervous, your stomach practically doing flips when the game loaded an showed three avatar characters on screen.
"Hey, (Y/N)! You made it!" Cry laughed lightly through his mic, his character walking up to you. You laughed nervously and cleared your throat after deciding not to show your nervousness.
"Hey guys!" You said cheerfully into the microphone. Everyone's characters in the games were jumping in random places.
"Hey there." Ken said while making his character pick up a gun, snickering as he snuck up on Felix's character.
"Hi!" Pewdie's cheerful voice chirped through the mic. You jumped slightly when a gunshot went off in the game, Pewdie's character falling to the ground as Cry and Ken laughed their asses off.
"What?! Ken, why did you kill me?!" Felix asked in a shrill tone before he respawned in the same place. You couldn't but laugh hard as well, trying to stay quiet after Sophia threw a pillow at you an told you she's trying to sleep.
"I can already tell this is going to be a great video." Cry laughed along with Ken and Pewdie. He had no idea. Nor did you. That this wasn't even the beginning of your guys story.
A/N: THE ROMANCE WILL BE IN THE NEXT CHAPTER. I know that's what all you guys are waiting for. So, don't worry. Anyways, I'm really sorry that this chapter isn't all that good. I tried to think of cute scenarios but then the fact that Cry only knew the reader for two days popped up and he definitely isn't going to ask out or kiss a girl he only knew for that long. He's a gentle men people. But I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
