"You okay?" Jai's voice brought me back to the present, I had been standing in the parking lot, leaning against my car for a while waiting for Jai when my mind decided it was better to use this free time to think about things that happened in the past.

I never wanted to think of it. It was a part of my life which if it was possible, I would erase from my memories forever, it took away a lot from me, I had to leave Mumbai secretly and go to Ahmedabad, I had to leave everyone I cared for behind here, including my best friend Aditi who seemed to really hate for it yet.

"Yeah, I was just waiting for you." I smiled pretending to act normal, yet all those chilly memories made me want to scream out.

"Did I tell you how gorgeous you look?" Jai smirked.

"Jai, you and me? It's not happening darling." I laughed as I got inside the car, Jai sat on the passenger seat beside me and I drove off. We planned on having dinner together so I just had to go home, freshen up and then we'd find a nice restaurant where we could eat.

As I drove off, I passed by Arnav and Aditi who as usual were having an argument about something, I don't know what it was, why did they hate each other so much?

"Do you know why these two are always fighting like this?" I asked Jai.

"Not really sure but I heard Aditi did something, like you know when you mess up with Arnav he can get very mean like he tried to burn your car for some stupid reason, so it was just something like that but not surely what exactly." Jai said.

"Oh okay." I nodded as I continued driving, once we reached home, I parked the car and Jai and I stepped out and headed inside the mansion.

As we walked in, I found dad seated in the hall, busy staring at the screen of his phone, it was surprising that he was home, before I remember I would see him home like once in a week or so.

"Oh look who's here." I said as I walked in.

"I was waiting for you, I thought I'd spend some time with you before I leave but you are late." He said as he stood up and looked at Jai weirdly, I knew he dint like him mostly because he wasn't as rich as us, in that category I was somehow like my father, the keyword being somehow.

"Oh wow, my father finally has time for me." I said sarcastically.

"I am trying to make our relationship better Khushi, the least you can do is try, but well what can I expect from you, just sarcastic comments." He sighed as he grabbed his briefcase and walked away.

"Why do you behave that way with him? He is your father." Jai said.

"Well we have our own share of personal problems, I don't want to ruin the mood by talking about it, now you can settle down, I'll freshen up and change, then we can go eat." I said as I rushed upstairs to my room while Jai sat in the hall waiting for me to get ready.

I walked downstairs just to find Arnav in my house, what was he even doing here?

He was having some sort of a conversation with Jai who seemed pretty scared of him though.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of having you visit?" I asked.

"You have a cute house. Anyway let me come to the point, you are coming with me."

"Excuse me? Even my father doesn't tell me what to do, who do you think you are to tell me what to do? Right now I'm going to have dinner with Jai so leave!" I said angrily.

Was this guy bipolar or something? He was very strange. He is the one who said he dint want to see my face then spent the entire day stalking me or trying to talk to me.

"Oh I do tell people what to do, and I know how to get them to agree." He smirked proudly.

"Oh yeah? Make me." I said confidently, what was he really going to do to force me into going with him?? And where did he want to take me?

"I'll burn your car."

"Better luck finding it, you know I believe in better safe than sorry, I have it sorted." I smirked proudly as I walked towards Jai, grabbed his hand and tried to walk away.

"Now if you'll excuse us, we have to eat." I rolled my eyes at him.

Jai's hand were really cold, it seemed he was terrified of Arnav, I wouldn't blame him, I was terrified in the beginning too, a lot of people have been terrified by him, but I've come to know he really isn't as horrible as he shows.

"So you think you and this little boyfriend of yours can disobey me and walk away just like that?" Arnav said.

I stopped and turned to look at him, he looked like he was really jealous, he couldn't stop staring at our held hands.

"Aww, does Arnav Raizada have a crush on me? Are you jealous Arnav? Well I can't blame you, a lot of people have a crush on me." I smirked.

"You are quite delusional aren't you?"

"So do you mean you aren't jealous?"

"Never. Why would I be jealous about him? For me he doesn't exist, and secondly I don't have a crush on you, I came here for another reason." He explained.

"Is it so?" I looked at him curiously, I mean the way he was trying to sit with me today, even a blind person could tell he liked me, I wasn't stupid not to notice it.

"Yes." He nodded, I smirked as I turned to look at Jay, grabbed his face and kissed him, Jai was left in shock, but so was Arnav, he was staring at me with his eyes wide open, while clenching his fists tightly, it seemed like he wanted to punch Jai.

"Wow, you are a great kissed." I looked at Jai in surprise, I wasn't expecting to feel that way about the kiss, I mean it was stupid for me, I just wanted to piss Arnav off.

"That's it, I'm done with your drama, you are coming with me or I'll beat this boyfriend of yours, you know I can do it."

"It's okay Khushi, go with him, we'll have dinner some other time." Jai said nervously.

"You don't have to be scared of him Jai, those are useless threats." I said.

"Is it so, do you want to try me?" Arnav asked.

"No! We are good, go with him Khushi."

"Seriously Jai? I mean I know everyone is scared of him but could you for once try not to be intimidated by him." I looked at Jai in disappointment.

"It's not as easy as you think it is." Jai said.

"Fine, you know what, the day you gather enough courage to stand up against him, you'll have me, I'll date you, that's a promise." I said to Jai angrily and then looked at Arnav who looked really proud of scaring Jai.

"Now if you are done with the drama can we go? I don't like to keep my sister waiting." He grabbed my hand and pulled me along to his car.

"What does your sister want with me?"

"Well for some unknown reason, she happens to like you and thinks you two can be friends. So she asked me to bring you home so you two can talk or stuff.

I wouldn't agree if she wasn't such a blackmailer, so stop giving yourself importance thinking I have crush on you, I don't do the crush thing." He got inside the car. Why did his sister want to be friends with me?

"Then what thing do you do?" I asked as he started driving.

"Oh you don't want to know what I can do, it might tempt you to leave that good for nothing boyfriend of yours." He smirked, wasn't he so proud of himself? Well I don't blame him, I was always proud of myself too.

"Try me." I said, I liked challenging him and I liked it best when he lost, it was fun to see him lose, because no one really saw Arnav losing.

"Would that be cheating on your boyfriend? I might be everything but I don't support cheating." He smirked.

"First of all, Jai isn't my boyfriend, why do you keep calling him my boyfriend?"

"If he's not, why is he always running behind you like a puppy, plus why did you kiss him in front of me?"

"I don't find it important to answer all your questions."

"Whatever, anyway we are home, thank God, I don't have to see your faces anymore." He rolled his eyes as we both stepped out of the car and headed inside the mansion.

Seriously, why was this mansion so huge yet there were only two people living in it?

"That's her room, you'll find her there." Arnav said pointing towards the room.

"Wait, what's her name?" I asked remembering no one really told me her name when I met her, I just knew she was Arnav's sister, not her name.

"Jiya." He laughed as he walked towards the opposite side, wow, I think this was the first time I saw him laughing, and damn he looked hot.

Oops, hold your thoughts Khushi, its Arnav Raizada we are talking about. Seriously though, why did his sister want to be friends with me or whatever?
