As I came in for work at the Old Southwood All Star retirement home, I was greeted by the people who were treated there and my friends who work there with me Maggie,Sage,and Lizzy.

"Hey" I said to them, as we were talking one of the other nurses came over and told me I have to report to room 136 which is Ms. Anne's room.

I walked to the elevator and pressed the 3rd floor button, the elevator started to go up but then suddenly stopped and went to the basement floor, I started to kinda freak out as I heard from the other employees that they experienced a unknown presence down there.

As the elevator door opens my heart is beating fast from whatever it is that wants me down here for some reason or it's just the rumors getting to my head and the elevator is just malfunctioning a bit. This place was built in the 1900's so it's pretty old but these elevators were fixed two weeks ago because of this problem, but why is it starting to do this again.

I tried to press the 3rd floor button again and again but nothing happened, so I did whatever wants me down here to do....I stepped out of the elevator, I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and turned on the flashlight. I started to look around the hairs on the back of my neck start to stand up and I start to shiver a bit, it felt like I was being followed. I keep looking behind me mostly because of my paranoia but there would be nothing there.

As I'm walking I start to hear some footsteps behind me, I turn around my heart beating faster then it was before, I saw someone run down one of the isles of medical files then "it" started to giggle, it sounded like a little boy. My nerves started to calm down a bit, I went to the isle he was in and saw him run away giggling, the giggle seemed familiar, I followed him to the next isle, but I didn't see a little boy, I saw my younger self smiling and giggling at me. I was so scared I froze, then I ran back to the elevator I started pressing the 1st floor button rapidly. My younger self walking slowly the giggling becoming deformed, finally the door shut and the elevator went back to the 1st floor.

The elevator door opened and I ran out of there quick, "from now on I'm taking the stairs" I told myself. I walked towards my bosses office and knocked on the door "come in!" He said, I walked in breathless because of all the running and whatever it was I saw down there. "Miss Anderson are you okay? you look really pale,are you starting to get sick?" He said to me with a worry look on his face "N-no sir not at all, I'm perfectly fine.....I just wanted to report something...." I said stuttering a bit "what is it....?" He said still worried "the elevator malfunctioned, when I was heading to the 3rd floor it stopped and went to the medical file room.." I said with my hands shaking a bit.
