Hey! Little message from the book writer.

This is my first ever book I've written on this app, and I want to it be special! I hope you enjoy it as much as I am enjoying writing it! :)

We may now begin.

"Clementine!!" Carley shouted from downstairs. Carley is clementines adoptive mother, her father is Lee Everett. He's also a history teacher at Ericsson's, he got the job not long ago.

Clementine lays in bed and starts to slowly wake up.
She rubs her eyes and yawns.
" Wonder what the new school has in stock for me. Hopefully I meet some people.." she said to herself.
Clem has a habit of speaking to herself, she doesn't care what anyone says when they catch her doing it. She thinks it's something unique! (Everyone is unique in their own way of course.)

Clementine gets up from bed and stretches. She yawns once again as she's walking to the bathroom, she sees her mum down the stairs and waves to her and says good morning, carley does the same. Clementine enters the bathroom and looks at her messy curls, she decides to brush it out and then use the toilet.
As she finishes off, she picks up her toothbrush and toothpaste and goes to the mirror to brush her teeth. The mirror is right infront of the sink so Clementine always does a little "private performance" to herself, something she also does!

Minutes pass and she exits the bathroom, she runs back to her room unaware about how much time she's got left before she heads out for school, she enters her room and quickly picks up her phone to check the time.

6:56 am.

"It's only 7? I've got a good amount of time left then." She said to no one but herself.

She puts her phone down and then proceeded to get changed.
She finishes off with a couple of last touches, as she's about to leave the room she forgot one thing. She quickly turned around and grabbed her hat that was hanging from her door handle. " oops! Almost forgot you!" She says and heads downstairs.

/ downstairs/

Clem had just made her way downstairs and is about to enter the kitchen.
She enters the kitchen and sees her little brother AJ (Alvin junior) watching the newest disco broccoli episodes on the TV that was hanging from the wall.

"Hey mum! Hey dad! And hey goofball!"
She said happily to everyone.

"Hiya hun! Sit down, pancakes are almost done!" Carley said to her beautiful daughter.
Clem does as she's told and heads over to the table to sit down and enjoy her meal.

Carley brings over her pancakes, " eat up hun!" She says.

Clementine starts to dig in and enjoy the tasty pancakes her mother made her, she loved her moms food so much!

Clementine is just finishing off and leaving her dishes in the sink, and then her father spoke up. " Clementine, we've got to go now, I can't be late and neither can you, we need to drop of AJ first and then we make our stop, let's not waste anymore time sweet pea!" Her father Lee said as he started walking over to the cabinet to get his keys.

Clementine then went to wait at the front door where her brother was already standing there fiddling with a little squishy toy, of course when she looked at it, it was a mini disco broccoli figure. She never understood the hype over the show, maybe becuase she's 15 and doesn't care about those types of things anymore, but she must pretend she does for her dear brother. Lee walks over to the front door and gives Clementine a smile and leads the way to the car as if the 2 kids didn't know where it was.

They all hop in and drive to drop AJ off.

(They drop of AJ and now are heading over to Ericsson's.)

As they arrive and hop out of the car, clem starts drifting off to her own little world as she examined the big building. " well shit. How am I gonna find my way around this big place?" She complained to her father, which he didn't seem bothered about her complains. He seemed to know his way around the school which was odd for the girl, but at the same time he was here for interviews.

Clementine Enters the building and she sees her dad going to head in another direction. They both say their goodbyes and wish each other luck before both of Them disappear from each others site. Clementine looks at her timetable and sees she's got English first period. "Shit" she mumbles under her breath not knowing where the hell this room is in such a big place. She starts walking out of the front office and sees big crowds, she attempts to ask for directions but no one seemed to be Interested to help the poor girl. She continues to walk and then accidentally bumps into someone, she apologises and says that she didn't mean it. The guy looked friendly, he said "nah it's all good, I should have kept my head up and watched where I'm going.." you gave him a smile and said "guess we should both be keeping our heads up then" and let a small laugh out. "This isn't the best introduction but, I'm Mitch, and you are?" He said interested to know who this new girl was. "I'm Clementine, clem for short! Nice to meet you Mitch" she said with a smile.
The two were getting squished into the crowd so they stepped aside and then clem asks the boy for directions. "Do you know where this classroom is by any chance?" She asked.
"Oh! That's my next class! Just follow me!" He said.

Clem was just glad she had met someone who's willing to help, the boy didn't seem to bad.

The two are now walking to their next class, silently. The teenage boy, Mitch, decided to break the silence. " I've got a whole friend group, they're really good people. I was maybe wondering if you'd like to get to know them?" He asked.

"Yeah! I'd love to, ever since I arrived to this school I was hoping I'd make some new friends an-" she was cut off by another person and she turned around to see a young boy shouting for Mitch. The boy she was with.

"Whoa, why the screaming willy? Mitch asks.

"Willy huh.." Clementine mumbled under her breath.

"Clem, this is my brother Willy, he just moved here to this school about a month ago!" Mitch said.
But before I can say anything he said we should get going so we aren't late.
He says his goodbyes to his brother and then tells me to run after him. "What the hell Mitch!" I scream!

(3 minutes later)

We arrived to class (out of breath.) and we walk into the English classroom he enters first then I enter right after, the teacher still wasn't here. Odd. She thought to herself, as she's trying to find a seat her eyes lay on someone. He has brown chocolate eyes, freckles scattered around his face, dreads falling down from his head onto his face.
And there was an empty seat beside the dread head. She thought she should just take it as it's the only seat available.

She heads over to sit down.
She sits down, and the mysterious teenage boy turns to face her. "Hey! Haven't seen you around, you new?" The boy asked.
"Yeah, I am new.." you say.
"Well nice to meet you, I'm Louis aka really handsome guy!" He says teasing. "Well hey Louis! Im Clementine, Clem for short!" You said happily to Louis.
"You also look short" Louis says while laughing
Her cheeks go a tiny bit red as he said that.

As she's about to say something, the teacher enters the room, she doesn't look like she's in a good mood either.

Well you guys. How did you enjoy this? I thought this chapter out all night and I'm not sure if it turned out good. Eh either way I hope you all enjoyed chapter one! "A new day." Chapter 2 is being worked on and will be published asap. As you guys can also see I tried to make Mitch be nicer since clem and Mitch would defo have a friend/enemy sort of friendship 😭
