The next morning, I woke up to an empty bed.
Lucinda was actually already downstairs making a breakfast of pancakes.
"Morning Lucy," I say as I go downstairs.
"Morning," she says with a smile on her face.
I looked around and realised that my sister and her boyfriend are nowhere to be seen.
"Where's Cadenza and Garroth?," I ask sitting down at the counter.
Lucinda just looked at me and explained that they went to this waterpark up the road, and as always, they took the car.
"They said we could go if we'd like," she said to me.
"It sounds fun," I say as she lays a plate infront of me.
"I know, I wanna go," she says with a smile that actually gives me a choke.
"R-really," I say suprised, "You're not one for big public things like this unless it was the carnival."
"I know," she says with a bigger smile, "but, I'm becoming more open," she reaches a hand across the counter and holds my hand, "and I enjoy having fun with you."
That put a nice smile on my face and we finished up breakfast.
I packed a cooler of stuff and we walked up to the park which wasn't a far walk. Honestly, why did Cadenza feel the need to take the car.
We met up with Cadenza and Garroth in the park. We enjoyed a few rides, a few me and Lucinda got to ride down together.
Then to ease into the day, we spent some time on the lazy river.
We went home after that, and Cadenza let us ride back in the car with her, even if we're only five minutes away.
When we got inside, Cadenza had gone up to go take a shower, and when she did, Cadenza pulled me aside.
"Laurence, we've gotta talk."
