As soon as Kyle saw the van, he freaked out, grabbed my wrist, and ran. We ran towards the town, and the van started following us. We turned and ran for the woods. We dashed between trees, and leapt over bushes and brush. We stopped to catch our breath, and we heard footsteps following us. Kyle looked terrified, and he took off. I dashed after him, trying to keep up. I could hear the footsteps closing in, I turned suddenly, and Kyle followed. We crouched behind some brush, and we waited while the footsteps ran by. We sat there for a while, catching our breath and calming down. I heard a voice yell, "They're gone. I don't hear them moving and I ran far enough that if they stopped I would have found them." "They must be hiding somewhere." Another voice answered. "Come on, search for them!" The first voice yelled.
