I immediately got up, got ready, and snuck out the door. Luckily, my mom didn't notice me. I ran as fast as I could towards the coffee shop. It was surprisingly full for it being late at night, but no matter how hard I looked, Kyle wasn't there. I walked home, and my mom didn't question me when I got back. I went and went to bed, convinced someone had been messing with me.
       The next morning, I got more texts from Kyle. 
Kyle: Why didn't you come?
Me: I did, you weren't there.
Kyle: I was in the school parking lot all night waiting.
Me: School parking lot?
Kyle: Meet me there... NOW.
  I got up and I ran to the school. I was ecstatic to see Kyle standing there, but something was wrong. He was hiding, looking around as if he were nervous about something. As soon as he saw me he waved me over, still not coming out. I ran over and threw my arms around me. He hugged me back saying, "I missed you so much." I didn't say anything, I just buried my face in his shoulder. We sat like that for a long time, and the only reason we pulled apart is because a black van pulled into the parking lot, and Kyle started to panic.
