Olivia's POV:

Sheriff shakily breathes out, most likely trying to collect his thoughts of where his son could possibly be. God...I feel terrible for him.

He looks up at all of us. "If his Jeep is gone, that's where we start." He glances over to the officer behind the desk. "Parrish, let's get a APB out on a nineteen eighty, blue civic Jeep. Coroda, I want a list of any industrial basement or sub-level; any building he could have gotten into while sleepwalking. It's the coldest night of the year so far, so if he's out there barefoot and in only a t-shirt, he could already be hypothermic. Let's move fast, let's think fast." He looks back to us. "You three, come with me."

We follow him towards his office and he shuts the door behind me with a stern expression. "Okay, is there anything you need to tell me that I can't tell anybody out there?" He asks, using his thumb to gesture where the deputies stood behind him.

"Lydia knew he was missing." Isaac immediately answered.

"Can she help find him?"

"She's working on it." I assure.

"Anything else?"

"I called Derek for help." Scott added.

"C-Can you find him by scent?" He hesitantly asks.

Before Scott or Isaac could answer, several knocks on the window breaks our stares and we turn towards the door in time to see someone I never expected to be here.

"Sir, Parrish sent me to tell you that they found the Jeep." My father says, his eyes widening as soon as he locks eyes with me. "Olivia?"

"Oh you've got to be kidding me." I grumble, my eyes trailing to his deputy uniform. "You work here?"

"You guys can catch up later." Sheriff interrupted as he grabbed his keys from the desk. "Let's go."

Within minutes we all sped off towards where they had spotted Stiles' jeep, which apparently was at the Beacon Hills' Memorial Hospital. Isaac had decided to come with me this time so I wouldn't drive alone.

As soon as we pull in the parking lot, the four of us quickly go straight to the parked Jeep that belonged to Stiles while some of the other deputies began their search inside and around the hospital.

Sheriff shakes his head in disappointment, seeing that the Jeep was empty. "It's dead. He must have left the lights on."

I furrow my eyebrows. "This doesn't make sense."

"Yeah, why would he come here?" Scott inquires.

"Let's find out." Stilinski sighed as he shuts the door and we follow him towards the Hospital, along with the other deputies.

I try to catch up to the Sheriff but a hand pulls me back from moving which causes me to turn, instantly being met with my dad's worried expression.

"Olivia, why are you up so late? Does your mom know you're here?" He immediately asked, momentarily glancing behind me where Scott and Isaac stood. "With them? It's a school night."

"Who I hang out with isn't your concern. We're doing everything we can to find my friend." I snatch my arm away. "Mind your business."

Scott awkwardly cleared his throat. "We'll go with them later. Derek's on the rooftop."

I nod. "I know a shortcut." I look back to my dad with a glare. "I can't stand being in the same building as him."

I guide the boys down a hallway that led to the elevator and the remaining stairs that led to the rooftop. It doesn't take very long until Isaac pushes open the doors as we look around for Derek.

"He's not here. Not anymore." As we turned the corner of the fence, we see Derek overlooking the city below us.

"You mean the whole building?" Scott asks with pure confusion in his tone.

"Gone."

"I'll go tell Stilinski and see if they need my help." Isaac whispers to me and I nod before he runs back downstairs.

"Did Allison find anything?" Scott asks me but I shake my head, showing him the amount of times I tried calling her when we were driving here.

"Nothing. She isn't answering my texts either." I say and shove my phone back in my pocket.

I glance at Derek but he still had his back towards us. Is he hiding something?

"You know something." I spoke, taking a couple steps closer to him with Scott trailing behind.

"Do you notice how strong the scent is up here?" He asks and I glance to see Scott's puzzled expression. "Ever hear of chemo signals?"

"They're signals that communicate emotion." I say and Derek nods, however I could tell Scott was still confused.

"Our sweat can give off anger, fear, or disgust. Take a deep breath and tell me what you feel." Derek says and I watch as Scott obliges by closing his eyes, taking a slow deep breath.

"Stress." He mumbled.

"Anxiety." Derek adds for him.

"Then what was he doing all the way up here?" I question. "Out of all the places he could've ended up?"

"I don't know, but there was definitely some kind of struggle." He answers but I crossed my arms.

Scott furrows his eyebrows. "With who?"

"The guy that he said is in the basement with him?" I suggest but Derek shakes his head no.

"Himself."

It started to worry me that Allison hadn't been answering my calls which led me to rush over back to Stiles house to see, hopefully, that she was still there.

I park my car near his mailbox but see that Lydia, Aiden, and Allison barely get inside the car. Thank god.

I honk the horn and the three turn behind me with confused expressions. Allison says something to them before she quickly runs over to my car.

"Oh hey, Lydia found--"

"How come you haven't been answering your calls?" I immediately ask as she gets inside my car. "I thought something bad happened to you."

She shakes her head slowly. "No you didn't."

"Yes I did." I pull out my phone and show her the calls. "I've been calling and texting you ever since we left the station."

She pulls out her phone from her pocket and her eyebrows furrow. "My phones off." She worriedly glances back up at me. "You know I never turn my phone off."

Her phone lights up and immediately all her notifications roll in from Isaac, Scott, and I, but mostly mine, start to pile up.

"So...he was at the hospital and it seemed like he was struggling with himself?" I nod. "Okay well, Lydia found out that he has to be at Eichen house. She's heading to the station, but I figured--"

"We'll go there first." I finish for her and she nods as she clips on her seatbelt. "Okay, tell me where to go."

I drive the car towards the town from what she told where the building was, which apparently was further away than the common places we've been to.

Wrong way, Olivia.

"Huh?" I glance at Allison to see she was looking down on her phone of the map. "Did you say something?"

She furrowed her eyebrows. "No."

"Oh." I mutter and look forward again. "I could've sworn you said--"

You're running out of time.

"You're gonna make a right on the street that's coming up." Allison spoke.

Turn left. Hurry.

Subconsciously I turn the wheel to the left and press on the gas a bit, noticing that our surroundings were leading to the woods.

"What are you doing? I said turn right." Allison scolds.

"I-I'm sorry. I--"

"It's okay. Just make a u-turn and we'll get back on track." She says and glances back at her phone.

Don't listen to her. Follow the trail to the den.

"Liv, make the u-turn." I didn't listen and made a right to the Beacon Hills Preserve. "Hello? Are you listening to me? Olivia!"

STOP HERE

I slam on the brakes which causes Allison and I to jolt forward, but luckily enough where we didn't get ourselves hurt.

"Olivia Flores, are you crazy?" She scolds again with a glare. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

Go to the den, Olivia!

"You know what? Get out of the car. I'm driving." Allison quickly unbuckles her seat belt and rushes over to my side as I take off my seat belt as well.

"I don't know what's wrong with you, but--" I grab her hand to stop her from talking. "Olivia--"

"Do you trust me?" I interrupt which causes her eyes to widen.

"What? How does this--"

"I said, do you trust me?" I repeat but she looks between our hands and my eyes.

She squeezes my hand. "Of course I do, but you're scaring me."

I turn off the ignition to my car and quickly get out. "Then follow me." I shut the door and quickly guide her further into the woods as she turns on the flash of her phone.

"Olivia, where are we going? We don't have time for this."

Make a left

I follow the voice's direction and notice Malia's den ahead from how Scott and Stiles described it. Why was I here?

Small whimpers that came from inside the den itself causes my eyes to widen.

"Oh my god, Stiles." I immediately let go of my girlfriend's hand and carefully duck inside to peek through. My vision adjusted a bit and instantly I see Stiles curled up into a ball with his eyelids tightly shut.

I rub my eyes since it was starting to sting. "Allison," I yell out and grab ahold of Stiles's ankle. "help me get him out!"

"Okay, okay." She shoves her phone in her pocket and shakily grabs his other ankle.

As we both pull him out from the den, pained screams and cries escaped from his mouth which made it a bit harder for us to pull him out.

"Something must be happening in his dream." Allison grunts as we dragged him out.

We drop his legs once we fully pulled him out and propped him to lean against the boulder, however he still thrashed around with tears streaming down his cheeks.

I wrapped my arms around him as Allison held his legs down so he wouldn't accidentally kick one of us.

"Stiles, it's just a dream! Wake up!" I yell out as I smacked his cheek a bit. "It's me, Olivia!" He lets out another scream but his eyes shoot open as his body trembled under my hold, but he looked around frantically. "You're okay, you're okay, you're okay." I soothe, feeling that he stopped thrashing around. "You're okay."

He looks up to meet my eyes, feeling his body relax a bit as if it confirmed it wasn't a dream anymore. However, he still continued to tremble due to the cold.

I look at Allison as she sighed in relief, moving away from his legs to pull out her phone. "I'm gonna call the paramedics and his dad."

I nod and slip off my sweatshirt to drape it over Stiles to give him some sort of warmth. I took notice of his appearance and see his clothes were definitely dirty from the ground as well as his hair now matted from the floor.

"You're safe. You're gonna be okay." I assure to him as he stared off in the woods with his body still shivering. "You're gonna be okay. It was just a dream."
