Eleven
Olivia's POV:
As soon as I finished with a more playful design that was pink, blue, and green dots on Allison's back, she dragged me to the dance floor with a smile on her face.
I still couldn't dance for my life, but at that moment I didn't care. All I cared about was dancing with the girl who made me the happiest and that's all that mattered to me.
Maybe she was right. Scott had his eyes on Kira so maybe he moved on after all? I shouldn't be so worked up on putting everyone's happiness over mine.
She was the love of my life and that should be the only thing that mattered.
Woah wait. Love? I love Allison?
"Olivia? Please tell me you can hear me." I hear Lydia's voice echo in my head, breaking me from my thoughts. "There's something here!"
I look around but don't see the strawberry blonde anywhere in the sea of people dancing around us.
"Everything okay?" Allison asked as she grabbed one of my hands to spin herself around with a grin.
"Just thinking" I shrug and use my arm to pull her close to my chest.
"About what?"
I spun her around again where our faces practically hovered over each other. "How the hell an amazing girl like you could like me."
The corners of her lips perk up and she leans in, softly pressing her lips against mine. I wrap my arms around her waist to pull her closer but she moves away, trailing more kisses up my neck which causes goosebumps to form in my skin.
However she stops in one particular spot and slowly pulls away which causes me to pull away.
Pure confusion was written across her expression and I knew something was up.
"What's wrong?"
"There's something on your head." She tilts my head a bit. "It's behind your ear."
She lets go but grabs my hand to drag me through the crowd towards the backroom where the restroom was.
"Allison I can't walk that—" I try to say but she forces me to go in front of her.
"Turn to the mirror." She interrupts me and I turn my head to bend my ear. "You see that?" My eyes widen as soon as I see what she was talking about.
"What the hell is that?"
Behind my ear was a small mark of the number five. I brush my thumb against the ink but it remained in the same spot.
"It looks like the number five."
"I would've remembered if I got a tattoo. This," I point to the mark. "This is something I would never get! Oh my god, my mom is gonna kill me."
She opens her mouth to respond but a small groan interrupts her.
"Did you...?" I whisper and she nods slowly.
We both turn around and see a pair of feet stick out from behind the ice buckets. I was the first to walk towards the buckets and from behind the large containers laid Ethan motionlessly staring at the ceiling as he held himself with fear.
"Oh my god." Allison breathed out and I push the containers aside.
I help him sit up to lean against the wall and she lightly smacks Ethan on the face before tilting his head to the side.
"Olivia, he has the same tattoo as you." She says and I nod before grabbing his arm. "What are you doing?"
"I have to trigger his healing somehow." I say and glance at her. "And get a somewhat payback." I squeeze his arms and instantly flames appeared, his flesh burning under my hands.
His eyes practically shot out of his sockets and his eyes glowed ice blue intensely as he roared at the top of his lungs before falling back against the wall again.
"Thanks." Ethan tiredly breathes out.
"We have to get Scott." I say and wrap his arm around my neck.
"Get out!" I hear a familiar voice angrily boom through the loft which causes us to jump, the sound of the blaring music no longer playing.
Ethan groans. "Derek's gonna kill us."
Allison wraps his arm around her neck and we pull him up to his feet, dragging him out of the restroom.
As we got closer to the main room, I knew in the pit of my stomach that something was wrong.
We stumble inside but my eyes widen at the sight of same ninjas that practically radiated darkness. The familiarity of their masks flashes in my mind, knowing these were the same ones who attacked me at Allison's apartment...and the ones from my vision.
Their masks had razor sharp teeth cut into them but it was almost as if they had no eyes.
I watch as Danny carries Lydia out of the room, seeing the same terrified expression Ethan wore from when we found him behind the ice buckets.
"Oh my god." Allison whispers.
In unison, the ninjas turn in sync towards Aiden which causes his eyes to widen. "Guys, they're all looking at me." He nervously says and glances between Derek and Scott.
"Who are they?" Kira nervously asks Scott who had Isaac's arm around his neck for support.
"Olivia I hope you have a plan." Isaac says as he unwrapped his arm and slowly walking closer to me without breaking eye contact from the ninjas.
"I don't know. I was really hoping you knew the answer to that."
The ninjas take a step closer to Aiden who took another step back. "Why are they looking at me?" He asks again. "Guys?"
A snarl escapes from Derek's lips and he immediately sprints to the nearest ninja with Scott following in pursuit to the other ninja.
I watch as every attempt at a swing with their claws or punch they tried to hit at the ninjas, they swiftly dodged each and every one with flips or disappearing into thin air before appearing again into a different spot.
Derek regains his balance with a growl, his canines visibly showing before grabbing one of their heads and snapping it to the side.
It grows silent as we watch the black smoke forms around its neck, almost as if it was snapping back into place and I almost drop my jaw at the sight.
Derek's eyes widen at the action which gave the ninja the advantage to grab him by the shirt, throwing him against one of the decorated beams before turning to Scott who had protectively stood in front of Aiden.
It lunges immediately towards the alpha, but Scott rolls away in time to dodge the attack. Scott lifts his leg up but the ninja dodges, causing him to throw a punch again but the ninja easily side steps again.
The ninja slams its hand against Scott's chest, sending him soaring through the air until he crashes against a pipe.
"Scott!" I yell, unwrapping Ethan's arm from my neck and sprint towards the ninja.
I flick my hand to conjure a flame and throw the fireball from behind its back. In a flash, the ninja spins around and catches the fire as if it used telekinesis to hold it in its place before completely disintegrating into nothing.
Before I could do anything else, it appears in front of me and grabs my arm, easily flipping me overhead until my back slams on the ground. It brings its foot down on my chest, basically trapping me underneath so I wouldn't move.
I weakly turn my head and see Isaac storm over to where I was, flicking his wrist to show his claws as he lets out a low growl.
Within seconds, the ninja put its hand onto its chest and pulls out a long, silver samurai sword, causing my eyes to widen.
It began to swing the sword around before pointing it straight at him with a clicking sound, prepared if he had the guts to try to face off.
"Somebody do something!" Allison cries out, worriedly darting her eyes between me and the ninja that held me on the ground with its foot on my throat.
Isaac hesitantly looks down to me but I shake my head. "Don't."
He takes a couple steps back and I sigh in relief, thankful that he didn't do anything.
The ninja takes his foot off of me as the other ninjas grab Aiden's arms to hold him in place.
Isaac quickly rushes to my side to help me up once the ninja steps off of me and walks closer to Aiden.
The ninja placed its hand on the side of Aiden's face, his body going limp as he stared into its eyes.
It pulls its hand away with smoke rising from Aiden's skin until he limply falls on the ground.
The ninjas all turned towards Kira, causing her eyes to widen as she took a step back.
Oh hell no.
I was about to push myself up from the ground, but Isaac holds my arm from preventing me to do so.
Scott quickly rushes in front of Kira with his eyes glowing red and his canines extended, letting out a growl.
However, the sunrays began to fill the room which causes the ninja in the front to turn its head.
As the sunlight continued to fill the room, the ninjas disperse into smoke before fully turning into nothing.
Ethan quickly goes to his brothers side and Allison rushes to mine as well, cupping my face as she checked for any wounds.
"What the hell were those things?" Scott asked as Derek cautiously looked around the room.
I glance at Allison. "It's been twenty-four hours."
