Y/N sent a wave of purple energy at a pack of Beowolves and disintegrated them instantly, he turned around and a blue aura surrounded him as an ursa phased through him, once the ursa had stumbled past, the aura vanished and Y/N blasted the ursa into the ground, he turned quickly to see a king Taijitu dart towards him, only to be held back by a familiar black ribbon, Blake pulled on Gambol shroud and the giant snake was flipped over.

"Thanks Blake" Y/N yelled before he punched through the Taijitu's skull, splintering it, the second head tried to swallow him whole, only to turn to bubbles around Y/N.

Blake looked on in confusion before spotting the new red gem imbedded in his gauntlet. "Where did you find that?"

"It's a long story..." Y/N replied before looking around. "We should keep moving, I saw the others heading that way..."

Blake nodded a little and the two headed off to regroup with their team.

Y/N looked around as the Atlesian military started to land. "Yippee, backup" he smiled wryly and blasted an Ursa that was getting too close for comfort.

Ruby skidded to a stop beside them as Weiss and Yang followed suite "Yeah this is awesome and all but those robots can't take out every single Grimm at once.

Y/N nodded a little and started firing purple beams at a pack of ursa

Blake watched him go and smiled slightly before narrowly dodging a beowolf's claw

"Keep it together Blake!" Weiss yelled as she fended the beowolf off with Myrtenaster

"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me.." Blake said as she used Gambol Shroud as a lasso to pull the Grimm down so Weiss could finish it off with a stab to the head

"I do!" Yang said with a grin as she punched another repeatedly.

"I don't.." Ruby piped up from beside her, picking the beowolves off with Crescent rose.

"Can we maybe concentrate?" Weiss asked with a scowl as she slashed at several Grimm before sending them flying with a glyph.

Eventually the noise of battle died down as it reached the inevitable conclusion, Atlas forces and Beacon combined seemed to be more than a match for the Grimm and the Grimm either retreated or got beaned by the good guys.

Y/N panted slightly and sat down, he looked at the new stone and smiled slightly before Blake sat down next to him.

"Well, we did it...ish" Blake said as she looked around the city.

"I'm sure Ruby sees this as an absolute win.." Y/N smiled as he watched his younger sister talk with Yang and Weiss.

"What happened before...at the dance...I never got to say.." Blake looked up at Y/N

Y/N looked down slightly "yeah.." he said "don't worry about it.."

"No, I mean, My old...mentor for want of better word was...well he wasn't the best to be around, and I didn't think I'd.."

Y/N looked at her, surprise flickered across his face.

"Look, I really like you too, but if you're not.." he started to say before Blake pulled him into a kiss and wrapped her arms around him

"Hm, What do you know!" Yang came strolling towards the couple, shocking them out of their angsty love moment.

Yang smiled as the two glared daggers at her.

"Don't let me interrupt~"

"Yang, seriously?" Y/N looked at her and raised a brow.

"Hey, I've got a lot of making up to do to you, and the best I can do is look out for you" Yang said

"Blake is-"

"I didn't mean it like that, dummy!" Yang pulled a small card from her pocket and handed it to him

"It's a restaurant you two lovebirds can go to when you get free time.

"Thanks...this is....awfully quick.." Y/N said

"Yeah well, I do have a lot to make up for" She said as she stood up.
