"Hey, Blake!"

Sun grabbed Blake by her shoulder.
"You uh, doing okay?"

Blake  slammed shut the book she is reading, visibly irritated that her reading time had been interrupted. "I'm fine."

Sun did not read these signs and pressed on "So I hear that there's this dance going on this weekend, and it sounds pretty lame, but you and me, I'm thinking, not as lame, huh?"

"What?"

"The dance! This weekend! You wanna go, or what?" Sun asked

"I don't have time for a stupid dance. I thought you of all people would get that."

Blake walked away past her team. Sun sank from his rejection.

"You what?. Blake sat on her bed with her arms crossed. 

"We want you to go to the dance." Ruby repeated

"That's ridiculous." Blake sighed

"Blake, we're worried about you. This investigation is starting to mess with your head."
Weiss started counting the facts on her fingers "You can't sleep, you hardly eat, and to be honest, your grades have been suffering."

Blake scowled "You think I care about grades? She then gestured out the window.

"People's lives are at stake!"

Y/N put his hand on Blake's, lowering it. 

"We know, and we're also trying to figure out what Torchwick is up to but you won't be able to find anything if you can't even keep your eyes open! All we're asking is that you take it easy for one day."

Weiss nodded "It will be fun! Yang and I will make sure of it."

"Yeah! We're planning the whole event!" Yang pumped her fists which caused the bed to bounce Blake. 

Blake seemed confused "Excuse me?"

"Team CFVY's away mission lastedquite longer than expected."

"So, Weiss and I decided to pick up where they left off. And now we can make sure you can have the perfect night."

"And once it's all over, we'll return for our search, rested and ready."

Ruby smiled a little "So what do ya think?" She asked hopefully

Blake paused for a moment "I think this is a colossal waste of time." Blake walked away from the group and opened the dorm door.  "I'll be in the library." She walked out of the room. 

Yang and Y/N both sighed simultaneously "Great."

"She can't keep going on like this." Weiss said There was a knock at the door and Weiss approached and opened it. Jaune appeared at the door with a guitar.  Jaune started singing "Weiss!"

Weiss slammed the door in his face.

"Oh, come on, open the door! I promise not to sing." Weiss opened the door.  Jaune then started singing "I lied! Weiss Schu-nee, will you accompany me, to the dance on...Sunday!" 

"Are you done?"

"Yes?"

"No." She shut the door in his face. Turning around, she saw the others staring at her. "What?"

Yang sighed "And that is why they call you the Ice Queen." She said.

"All my life, boys have only cared about the perks of my last name. Besides, I already have a date in mind." Weiss said, looking over at an oblivious Y/N

"Date or no date, none of this will matter if we can't get Blake to go." Ruby said
