Titan glows in a network of the six colors of infinity stones, and thousands of spaceships have surrounded it, among them, Talos' skrull ship, in which our heroes reside.

Natasha Romanoff- What's the matter?

Skrull pilot- A forcefield surrounds the entire planet. It is impenetrable.

A gigantic hologram of Thanos appears on the planet, and its voice booms across the galaxy.

Thanos- Welcome challengers, to the Contest of Infinity. You may challenge me and the legion in teams, or alone. But only one member of each team will duel one member of the legion at any single time. The challenger may swap at the end of each duel. Whichever team survives all the duels will get to challenge prince Maw, and then me, King Thanos, for the jewels of the universe.

Grandmaster's ship is also present, which releases fireworks at the end of the announcement.

Talos- Which one of you is going to die first?

Clint Barton- I will.

Natasha Romanoff- No Clint.

Clint Barton- I have got the blood of too many on my hands, Natasha.

Natasha Romanoff- There's red in my ledger too. 

Clint Barton- The Ronin's bloodlust has changed me. It would never leave me. Even now, my sword thirsts for blood. It doesn't care friend or foe. Ronin must die, so that Hawkeye is remembered.

Steve Rogers- Wish you good luck, Clint. Remember, you can retreat.

Clint Barton- Yeah right.

The airlock opens, and Clint Barton jumps out in his Ronin suit. His landing slows due to the force field's energies. The spot where he lands blinks brightly, and a Chitauri robot appears to attack him. Ronin dispatches him with his sword. A hologram of the next enemy shows up.

Ronin- Bring it on.

The hologram becomes real, and attacks Ronin. One by one, different types of soldiers of Thanos attack Ronin, and Ronin struggles but eventually defeats them all. Then, a hologram of the Chitauri dragon shows up.

Steve Rogers to Clint (from comms)- Clint, you must come back. There's no way you can beat that one. Don't waste your life for nothing.

Ronin- The bloodlust has overcome me, Captain. If I come up there, trust me, I am going to kill all of you. There's no turning back now.

Steve Rogers- Clint, NO!!

Steve Rogers- Get the spaceship to land!!

The Skrull spaceship tries to land, but the force field blocks it. Natasha Romanoff takes over the guns of the ship, and unleases a hail of lasers on the force field.

Natasha Romanoff- Damn it Clint, come back here now!

Ronin- Goodbye Natasha.

Ronin (to hologram)- Continue.

The dragon comes towards Ronin, crashing into him. Ronin cuts it from inside and gets on top of it, but the dragon shakes him off. Ronin lies on the ground, and draws his bow and explosive arrow.

Hawkeye- Hawk's eye.

The explosive arrow tears through the metallic dragon and explodes, destroying it. But suddenly, a smaller dragon appears from it, burning, and explodes into pieces of shrapnel, one of which straight hits Clint's heart.

Natasha Romanoff- Clint!!

Natasha jumps off with her electric batons, out of the ship.

Steve Rogers- Natasha, wait!!

Bruce Banner- I wish the green guy would show up, but he says he will only fight Thanos. Unable to convince him to do otherwise.

Tony Stark- Its okay Banner.

Rocket- Guys, what if we lose?

There's a moment of silence in the room.

Tony Stark- Then imagine that you died with the snap too.

Natasha Romanoff fights against Proxima Midnight on the ground. She fights intensely, blow for blow. But Proxima also parries each of her attacks. Natasha makes a feint, but Proxima doesn't break her defense. Proxima attacks with her spear and Natasha blocks it with her baton, but a twirl of the spear cuts both the batons, sending their pieces flying away. Natasha draws her pistols and fires at proxima's face, but she flicks the bullets away with a blinding motion of her weapon, one of which ricochets and hits Natasha in the knee. She falls to the ground.

Proxima Midnight- This is for my comrade.

Proxima makes the killing blow.

Steve Rogers- Perhaps I shouldn't have brought you all to this.

Steve Rogers- If I die, you all must turn around. Even half the world needs avengers.

Rocket- Not a chance mate. 

Steve Rogers (smiling)- Farewell, raccoon.

Steve Rogers lands on the battleground, around which thousands of challengers are engaged in their own duels. All of them seem to win initially, but eventually end up losing. Steve Rogers presses a button on his shield, and activates his civil warrior suit.

Proxima Midnight is relentless, cutting and striking with blinding speed and accuracy. Steve Rogers shoots with his repulsor, but it is deflected. Proxima Midnight is bashed with his shield, which makes her even more aggressive. Steve Rogers suit is being cut off, and he is barely able to block with his shield.

Proxima cries out, and brings the spear down in a swinging motion on Captain America's shield, which BREAKS the Vibranium shield into half. Their pieces fall to the ground. 

Suddenly, Steve Rogers suit comes off, and entraps Proxima Midnight. 

Steve Rogers- I could do this all day.

The suit explodes, defeating Proxima Midnight. 

Rocket (from ship)- Oomph! That's a banger!

A new hologram appears, which shows Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight's comrade.

Steve Rogers picks up the parts of his shield, using them like old Wakandan bracers.

James Rhodes- Wait Captain.

Steve Rogers- What's the matter?

James Rhodes- You are wounded, and your shield is broken. We can patch it up. Let me go down. War machine has some tricks up its sleeves.

Steve Rogers- Its the man behind the shield that matters.

James Rhodes- For Thanos, it doesn't. 

Steve Rogers considers for a moment. 

Steve Rogers- Fine, I am coming up. Don't die on us Rhodes.

Steve Rogers- I wish to swap challengers.

Steve Rogers gets teleported inside the spaceship, while War Machine lands on the battlefield.
