UNKNOWN REALM IN THE COSMOS

Thor and Nebula arrive in Death's realm through the portal. The Mistress of Death appears, furious at the intrusion.

Death- Mortals in my realm! You dare enter the realm of the Gods!

Thor- I am a demigod...

Death- Reaper, harvest their souls. Make short work of them. 

Dark clouds surround the two heroes, and the Reaper's silhouette is dimly visible. Thor becomes pale and is slowly losing life.

Nebula- Mistress of Death, hear us out. If you don't help us, half the universe will remain dead.

Death- How are you still alive? Reaper, are you not doing your job properly?

Reaper- She is not a living being, mistress. Nor is she dead.

Nebula- All my body, it is nothing but metal parts. The one who did this to me, he roams the universe freely with the power of the Gods. I need your help in taking my revenge. And my comrades, which you just killed.

Death- You refer to Thanos? Don't worry about your comrade, I have power over death, and therefore over life as well. But why would I help you defeat Thanos?

Nebula- He killed half the universe.

Death- What do I care? More souls for me to keep. 

Nebula thinks for a while.

Nebula- He is the most powerful being in the universe.

Death- What nonsense! His new trinket won't turn him from a mortal peasant into a God.

Nebula- He can turn you into dust at the snap of his fingers.

Nebula is surrounded by aggressive black figures, wielding spears, swords and halberds. The Grim Reaper has his halberd positioned at her neck. Nebula is still undaunted. 

The Mistress of Death signals to her minions to turn their weapons down.

Death- So, you want to defeat Thanos, to strip him of his power. Very well, I will help you, but at one condition. I want him alive.

Nebula- I can't guarantee you that. 

Death- I can give you half the universe.

Nebula- Can you give me back my life? Can you undo what he has done to me?

Death (pause)- No, I can't.

Death- Very well, this will be a chance for him to prove his worth, without any cosmic trinkets. If you manage to defeat him, tell him he will find sanctum in Death's realm. Should he manage to make it here, alive,  by himself, I shall consider him worthy to be greater than a mortal.

Nebula- And how do I defeat him?

Death- The gauntlet was made at the beginning of the universe. But the universe follows the law of balance. For everything that exists, there is an opposite to that existence as well. Though it may seem to be weaker, those who break the illusion will realize they are equal and balanced. Find the opposite, break the illusion and use it to take both of them out of existence. Either both would exist, or none.

Nebula- An opposite to the infinity gauntlet? Where will it be found?

Death- That is all I can give you. Your comrade will escort you out of my dimension.

Thor (groggily)- Ugh, what just happened?

Death- GET OUT OF MY REALM!!!

Nebula- Lets go.

Thor opens the portal as Death's soldiers surround them once again. Before they can attack, Nebula and Thor are gone.
