"Kevin?! Oh my god."

"What was he doing here? Wasn't he supposed to leave the school by now?" I asked her.

"He did. But he's been coming around some days because I don't even know, he's been in meetings with the principal I don't know for what."

"...oh"

"But don't worry about it, you're gonna be fine. I'm here for you and I won't leave your side at any moment."

"Thanks, Ari. Means a lot"

"Now let's go class"

*ASHLEY'S POV*
My day has been going pretty well ever since Ari and I reunited. Thanks to her, I'm a bit more calm about this whole situation. I'm just really glad I came across her.

So it's finally lunch time and I'm really happy about it because I'm starving.

"Ash, come, there's an empty table over here."
Says Ari pointing at the table.

"Oh okay, on my way"

We finally got the table and started eating.

"Hey, so are you feeling more calm about the whole incident?" Ari says in doubt.

"Umm... yea, I guess so. I just I hope I don't ever come across him again or else I'm gonna die of a panic attach"

"...I don't get it, why is he so obsessed with you? Aren't you afraid of him?" Asked Ari.

"....You see Ari, you haven't heard the whole story... Kevin isn't simply this guy that's somewhat obsessed with me." I say

"What? What do you mean?"

"Well... I can't seem to fully understand the reason why he's acting so crazy, but I can for sure tell you that he was really different back then." I say in a nervous and concerned tone

"Woah that's pretty hard to believe."

"Well believe it. It wasn't until a few months ago that he changed... pretty sad, honestly." I said

"Well, I barely saw him back when he was in the school, but as far as I can remember, he's been this crazy, psychopath bully and honestly, he scares the soul out of me." She replied

I remained silent for a while drowning myself in my own thoughts.

"Ash? Is everything alright?" says Ari snapping me back into the real world.

"Oh yea sorry. I'm fine... I just... I just can't understand, Ari. I don't get what has happened to him."

"Umm... I get that you might be a little traumatized by this whole thing, Ash, but why does it affect you so much? As long as your away from him you're fine"

"No Ari... it's not just that."

"What do you mean?"

"....Ari, there's a part of the story that you don't know."

"What is it?"

"Kevin... K-Kevin and I once dated."

"Wait... WHAT?" She says in disbelief

"I know it sounds crazy but that's what happened and we can't change the past unfortunately."

"W-w-what? I don't get it. What do you mean you once dated? Is he acting all crazy because you two broke up? What in the world?"

I sigh and take a deep breath before explaining her the story

"Well, apparently Kevin and I both had a crush on each other yet neither of us seemed to make a move. After a while he eventually made a move and well we dated for a good... 3 months I could say."

"So why did you guys break up?"

I look down in disappointment

"I don't know, it never really seemed worked out. We had different schedules since he's one year older than us, and we barely could see each other. But that wasn't just it..."

"It's not? Oh my god Ashley just spit it out."

"I wasn't allowed to date anyone so Kevin and I were dating in secret. He invited me to places and most of the times I couldn't go because my parents would get suspicious in why was I going out so late specially since I barely had any friends. So our relationship just eventually disappeared by itself."

"Wow" said Ari in an amused tone

"So..... do you still have feelings for him?"

".......I don't...I don't think so. But he once meant a lot to me, and we really liked each other. I wish him nothing but the best and it am saddens me to see him like this."

"What came across your head when you saw him again after all this time?"

"...I-I couldn't believe that I would be seeing him again. I could almost swear I wasn't seeing him again after he graduated. At first I couldn't tell if it was really him. When I saw this tall, slender, green eyed guy with messy brown hair and that little blonde strand of hair he always had the I knew it had to be him."

"Wow... I just can't believe all of this. I don't know Ash, I don't think you should see him again. I get that you two once meant a lot to each other, but things are different now." She said warning me

"I know... He's not the same anymore. I barely recognize him not with that sudden change."

"Ash, I'm telling you this because I care for you and I don't want anything bad to happen to you. I-I feel like this isn't the last time you'll be encountering him... just- just be really careful."

"I know, Ari. Thanks, means a lot" I say

"So tell me, how are your parents? I haven't seen them in sooooo long"

It just had to happen. I can't go a second without someone reminding me of that tragedy. It's not her fault though, but it still pains me to just think about it.

*ARI'S POV*
"Ash? Is everything alright?" I say in a worried tone.

"Y-yea... I just don't wanna talk about it." She replied.

"Ash, my intentions are never meant to hurt anyone and specially you."

"Ari, my parents passed away" she said in the saddest tone. It broke my heart seeing her like that.

"W-what?!" I say as I started tearing up. I stood up and gave her the tightest hug. I remember Ashley's parents like if it was just yesterday. They used to pick her up every day from school and I did get the chance to talk to them once in a while. Definitely the nicest and caring people I've ever met.

"I'm so so sorry, Ash."

*ASHLEY'S POV*
I had been waiting for a hug like that since the day my parents left. I really needed a friend to just let everything out and I'm so thankful that I came across Ari.

I know and I recognize that Johann has been there for me always, but I just needed a 'girl' friend to talk to.

"Thanks, Ari. You have no idea how much this means to me." I say in gratitude

"Hey, I'm here for you" she said as she smiled.

Hey guyssss, I'm so sorry it's been like 5 months since the last update, I just barely have the time, but when I said I was planing on finishing this book I meant it. So here's a brand new chapter yay.

Also, I went through writers block for a whileeeee we could say but now I'm back and with alooooooooot of ideas for this book. I wanna give some big thanks to one of my best friends Genis for helping me out and giving me ideas. Shout out to you gurl.
