Recently, for school, I had to wipe the memory of my computer. So I moved all my files over to Google Drive, which is really simple on a Chromebook, just drag and drop. 

And then later I go to work on an art project (a book cover I'm making for TheYoungInspiredAuthor on fanfiction.net) and find that my files weren't saved properly.

Basically, it saved five empty folders and eight loose files. It should have saved over a hundred loose files and the folders should have had at least one item in each of them. 

My project, gone. All my Minecraft skins, that I didn't even get the chance to use, gone. 

Today, I made myself a new skin. I didn't want to make something completely original like I normally do, so I decided I would base it off of the skin of one of my favorite YouTubers. 

You probably can't tell much from that tiny picture other than that I used a LOT of purple, so here's a better picture showing the skin on the player model: 

I'm guessing the first difference you notice between Seto's skin and mine is the colors. I really really really like purple so I used a lot. Don't you dare try to tell me it's too much purple; it would have been too much if I'd used it instead of the green and yellow, but like this it just looks awesome. 

The different-colored eyes and the changes I made to the headband under the hood are just me being me. You see, in real life I have hazel eyes that are mainly a mix of brown and green. In a game my friends and I used to play, a game based on Erin Hunter's Warrior books, my eyes were an amber color. At some point I decided to combine the two versions of me, so now in my drawings and in my imagination I have one amber eye and one hazel eye. But it's hard to show that eyes are hazel with just a couple pixels, which is why I made that eye green instead. Recently, I came up with a backstory for why one of my eyes became amber. In this imagined scenario I don't have hair, so this skin doesn't have hair. Therefore, while Seto has a solid-color (or since it's white, I suppose you could say no-color) headband that some hair is visible over, I have a close-fitting thin cloth cap, with a patterned edge because without any hair it just looked too plain. 

Another thing I changed was the legs. I have this weird obsession with putting boots on Minecraft characters, and the bottom half of the front side of the legs on Seto's skin forms a pattern that makes awesome boots. And then I just ignored the rest of the stuff going on on the legs, and built the other sides of the boots in a way I thought looked good. 

I also built this on the Alex player model rather than the Steve model, and changed the shape of the hood just a bit. There are a few other unimportant differences as well. But it is similar enough to Seto's skin that any Setosorcerer fan should know immediately what it is meant to be. 

(*sighs* I meant for this to be a place to post stuff that's actually about Seto, not stuff that's mostly about me but loosely ties in to the subject of Seto. Oh well, I suppose if Seto does ever read this [not that he will] he should be happy to see a skin based on his, so this is okay.)
