So my cousin specifically requested that I do Beau and Aoife, so that I can try out their characters. Well then.. this is going to be very challenging for me to do.

Warning: As of today, August 27th, 2017, both Beau Evans' and Aoife Halloran's (formerly known as Eren L. Basil and Hanazono Aoi respectively) personalities have been severely edited—enough so you can say that they switched personalities. It's hard to see if they retain much of their previous quirks, so I'll leave that to you guys to find out. Also, what's stated here isn't final; I'm still drafting Distortion's universe, so it can all change. Just keep that in mind.

Without further ado, here's the tag.

Pairing: Beau Arthfael Evans and Aoife Catriona Halloran
Story: Distortion

1. Do they have a lot of arguments? If so, over what?
I think that they do have the occasional discord in their relationship, platonic as it is. Beau is always, always concerned about Aoife's safety, and doesn't like her risking her life for him, though she insists that it is her duty, and thus she can't fail. Not again.

2. Who apologizes first and in what way?
Aoife. She's always the one who lowers her pride first, as she doesn't want to offend her superior—Beau. Beau, however, hates the fact that she apologizes due to her sense of duty, and often feels that it isn't always sincere. (Though it always is.)

3. Who gets more riled up and how do they show their anger?
That would be Aoife, again. Whenever she's angry, she makes sure that she's far, far away from Beau and unleashes her silent wrath on whatever dummy she can get a hold on—whether it be a real person or just a training dummy.

4. How do they hide their pain when they're upset?
Beau tends to suffer in silence, keeping his pain behind a smile and wave of his hands, before saying he's just fine when he really isn't. He hasn't any time for himself, so to speak, and prefers to prioritize the pain of others—i.e. Aoife—as opposed to his own.
Aoife, meanwhile, copes with pain in the same way as Beau does, only she distances herself from him even more so he won't notice that she's in pain, thus him disregarding his own hurt in favor of her pain being eased. These two have an unhealthy give-or-take in this situation.

5. Do they hold grudges?
Both Beau and Aoife do, the former in a much less obvious way as opposed to the latter. Beau, however, is much easier to forgive even after carrying the grudge for a few weeks or so, as opposed to Aoife, who finds it harder to let go of a slight to those important to her rather than an insult directed at herself.

6. Is there something big that could potentially tear them apart if it was revealed?
Well.. How can they be torn apart when they can't be together in the first place? 😊

7. What is their favorite pastime when they're apart?
Beau often busies himself with bonding with his younger sister, Aubree, and occasionally exploring the grounds behind where they live with his sister guiding him. (As he can't exactly go outside alone, being blind and all.) Aoife spends time hidden away in the library and finishing her reports, before checking out several books and going home to her waiting father, Sebastian, who's taught her everything she knows and whom she loves dearly. (Though they both show their affection in an unorthodox way.)

8. Who do they confide in when shit hits the fan (besides each other)?
To be honest, they can't really confide in each other for the sake of formality, so that's already out of the running. Most of the time, the things they confide can't really be said to each other, anyway. Beau often turns to his sister for advice, and at times, to his mother. He also has few other friends, but they're bound by the same rules as Aoife is, so he can't say anything to them. Aoife completely tells everything to her father and older brother, Bennett.

9. Is it hard for them to talk about their feelings openly to each other? If so, is there any way that it can be resolved?
Not really hard for them, per se, but oftentimes they're not allowed to. Unless everything was different, then they can't really tell each other for the sake of formality and professionalism. However, even if they were allowed to, Aoife would find it extremely difficult to admit to her feelings, as she considers them a weakness, so she won't tell Beau, because she doesn't want him to think that she's weak. Beau, however, would confide in Aoife more if they were allowed to.

10. Who grieves the more when the other is away?
That would be Beau, as he doesn't like being without Aoife by his side. It's more than just the fact that he feels safe with her around; he can't stand it when he can't feel her presence anywhere near him. It.. comforts him, reassures him, so to speak, that he isn't alone when he can't see a thing and he's somewhat afraid of being vulnerable without her by his side. On the other hand, Aoife can go a few days without seeing Beau (through sheer willpower), but then she's always anxious about his safety (she can't really trust others with a thing as important as that).

11. Who misses the other more, or really thinks about them more?
I... actually don't know. It's more likely Beau, as he thinks about her most when she's not near him, since Aoife tends to block out thoughts of him when they're apart, because it only hurts her more.

12. Do either of them have a special item? If so, what is it?
Formerly in Eyes of Azure, Beau gave Aoife a shiba inu puppy named Momotaro (Momo for short), while Aoife gave him a necklace with a gold dewdrop pendant. I don't think Momo would exist in Distortion, but the necklace.. Hm, I don't know if I can add that in.

13. Who cries more or gets more emotional in general?
For the crying, it's likely Aoife. She breaks down quite easily when she's been hurt (emotionally) too many times, though she doesn't like it. When it comes to being more emotional, it's Beau. He's more prone to being honest with his emotions.

14. Do either of them have the other's stuff lying around their house?
Aoife practically lives where Beau does. It's basically her job.

15. Do they tease esch other?
Yes. An irrevocable yes. It's more one-sided, though, since Beau loves to tease Aoife about several things, just to make her either laugh at his stupidity or become irritated at him pestering her to crack her stoic façade.

16. What's the thing they miss about each other?
When they're apart, Beau misses Aoife's voice and her presence by his side, while Aoife misses his smile and the easygoing way he seems to regard everything with.

17. What is their go-to breakup song or angst song?
Oh, I have a lot of these.

18. Who is more jealous?
Oh, this is fun. 😂 Aoife is more jealous of the two, though she tries to remind herself that she doesn't have a right to be jealous. Beau also gets really, really jealous when he overhears her talking to her first love.

19. Who would take longer to let go?
Damn, this is hard.. Both of them would actually find it really difficult to let go, and I can't say who'll deal with it harder, since they both take it deeply. If I'm to be honest, it's likely that they both won't manage to let go until years later, and the first who'll likely let go would be Beau. (Because honestly, they both think that if letting go would make the other happier, then why should they hold them back?)

20. Who's the first one to blame themselves?
Aoife. Definitely Aoife.

21. Who would be the first to hate each other?
I don't think they'll ever hate each other. A quirk or action the other did, sure—but at most, it'll likely just be dislike. Like my cousin said, hate is too strong a word.

22. Who worries more?
Aoife. She can't help but be anxious whenever Beau is somewhere beyond her reach.

23. What scent reminds them of the other?
Beau about Aoife: the smell of the ocean, roses, tea and the way a garden's scent is like after a rainstorm.
Aoife about Beau: the scent of mint, sometimes like coffee, and that smell you get from paint.

24. Do they have any regrets (regarding the other, or just in general)?
They both have a lot of regrets, though Aoife dwells on them more than Beau does at times. They regret a lot of things, but the most repeated ones which bug them are:
Aoife—she regrets that she cares too much for him and she can't show it.
Beau—he regrets that because of him, they can't be together.

25. Who is more prone to anger?
Aoife.

26. Can either of them sleep without the other?
Yes, though they both have insomnia, anyway, and usually spend that time together.

27. Who's more likely to protect the other?
Aoife, as it's part of her duty, though Beau insists that he can protect her too.

28. Who would be more afraid of the other's death/harm?
It's likely to be Beau, as Aoife's always risking her life for him and he doesn't like that.

29. Who has more dreams/nightmares about the other?
Aoife. Her dreams mostly consist of betrayal, anger, and abandonment, hence why she doesn't like sleeping at all.

30. Who comforts after a bad dream/event?
Beau tries, but Aoife doesn't want him to know what she's been dreaming of. She distances herself when something bad happens.
