As the others were screaming at Wheeljack, he kept quiet.

"You need to change, Wheeljack!" Arcee shouted. "We can't put up with your antics constantly!" Ultra Magnus scolded. "You need to be a better Autobot!" Bulkhead glared.

That was the last straw for Wheeljack and he ran to his room crying. He ran right past his lover, Ratchet.

Ratchet was startled when he saw Wheeljack run to his room crying. "What's up with, Wheeljack?" Bumblebee asked.

"These three decided to scream at him, which caused him to run off crying." Raf explained. Ratchet was shocked, but then got angry and protective.

"You did what?!" Ratchet snarled. "We told him that he needs to change, be a better Autobot, and that we can't deal with his crazy antics all the time." Arcee shrugged.

Wheeljack came out but he had a blade in his hand. He then pointed the blade to his stomach. "I'm so sorry, Ratchet. For everything." Wheeljack whispered.

Suddenly, Ratchet and the others walked into the room, but stopped at seeing Wheeljack getting ready to kill himself.

"Wheeljack no!" Ratchet exclaimed. With a burst of speed, he tackled the ex-Wrecker to the ground and finally managed to get the blade from him.

"Wheeljack, what are you doing?" Ratchet asked. Wheeljack turned his head away, not wanting to face Ratchet. Ratchet gently made Wheeljack face him, and noticed Wheeljack struggling not to cry.

"Wheeljack, why? Why'd you try to commit suicide?" Ratchet asked again. Wheeljack burst like a dam and the tears started flowing down his face.

"Because I'm tired of living!" Wheeljack blurted. "What?" Ratchet asked. "Everyone expects me to change, to be better! I've tried but it didn't work for me! I always get criticized for every little thing I do! I don't feel like I belong anywhere! I'm tired of living." Wheeljack exclaimed, sobbing.

Everyone was taken aback. "I tried to change to please the others, but I'm not good enough. I want to die. I just want to feel like I belong. I hid my feelings but their words finally got to me. They got to me." Wheeljack sobbed.

Ratchet hugged Wheeljack, offering comfort. "You belong here, Wheeljack. With me." Ratchet soothed. Wheeljack looked at Ratchet with tears streaming down his face.

Ratchet smiled at Wheeljack gently and wiped his tears away, warmly. Full of care, love. "I love you, Wheeljack. Don't ever forget that." Ratchet soothed.

Wheeljack just buried his head in Ratchet's neck crying. Ratchet soothed Wheeljack, trying to calm his racing heart.

Later that night, Wheeljack snuck into Ratchet's room, only to see that Ratchet was still awake. "Did you need something, Wheeljack?" Ratchet asked, confused.

"I...had a nightmare again." Wheeljack admitted. Ratchet knew that it was bad. "How bad was it in a scale of 1 to 10?" Ratchet asked. "Off the scales." Wheeljack replied.

Ratchet closed the door behind Wheeljack. "C'mon. You can sleep with me tonight." Ratchet stated. Wheeljack climbed up into the bed beside Ratchet.

Wheeljack grabbed Ratchet and pulled him closer to his chest, trying to calm down.

"Ratchet?"

"Yes Jackie?"

"Thank you for saving me today. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Ratchet smiled at his boyfriend, who was slowly falling asleep. "You're welcome, Jackie. Go to sleep, I'm going to sleep too." Ratchet smiled.

Wheeljack then fell asleep, still cuddling Ratchet and Ratchet fell asleep in Wheeljack's arms. That's how they were found the next morning.
