The third commander knew his master relied on him. Only he can bring out the truth and expose the ones behind of the Air commander's disappearance.

But what would he do if he does bring back the femme? Far from his secret investigation most of the crew were against of the blossoming love of their leader. The ones that are strongly against it are Starscream and Nightshade.

Of course they would, that love of theirs is a hindrance to their rebellion.

Though there are some pros and cons, pro would be that Lord Megatron's reign would be secured now that he'd have a femme but the cons would be that the femme would in turn betray him the worst way possible, already becoming a distraction.

Soundwave dared not to imagine the worst case scenario of this complicated relationship between a subordinate and a master. But keeping this would also mean betraying Megatron's complete trust.

He was the most loyal member in a field of traitors.

Of course it's what they are made of.

"Soundwave! I knew you'd come across this hall sooner or later"

The sound of the female insecticon's voice echoed through the empty hallway, crawling down sideways, her thin metallic appendages creating a soft clanking against the walls.

And as usual,Soundwave said nothing and just stared at the menacing femme in front of him.

"Oh don't give me that look, I come in peace"

There was never peace to begin with.

"I wonder what's going on inside that head of yours."

The femme drew closer towards him and smirked before chuckling

"You're thinking of something. I can tell"

Of course when it comes to Soundwave, you'll usually get a one sided conversation, and that he'll always give you a blank stare before walking away.

Which is what he is doing now, walking past the femme who initiated a conversation with him, to which he didn't even answer.

He and Airachnid had a complex relationship, and he tends to avoid conflict around the ship. Fighting against one another is a waste of his time.

He's a busy mech, deal with it.

Watching as the thin mech didn't bother to even answer her, Airachnid hissed lowly as she tried her best not to strike at the third commander.

But she might get his attention if she mentions something about the missing femme,after all that's been the buzz around the place

"Are you too occupied in searching for our missing mistress?"

Airachnid taunted as she crawled back up the ceiling, getting closer to Soundwave's frame and facing him upside down

"I'm afraid the Autobots might have had their servos on her...And Lord Megatron would sure lose his composure when he finds out, wouldn't he?"

Soundwave gritted his dentas behind his visor, he knows that this Insecticon femme is taunting him, messing with him to make him lose his mind.

"But the little Air Commander isn't rusty in the helm, so I'm sure she'll escape in given time"

She said as she pulled her helm back, now walking the opposite direction

"If the master still remembers their relationship of course, but I doubt with all the war...She'll soon be discarded as a minor set back... Better yet forgotten! Now that would be the best case scenario for you isn't it?"

The mech turned around to face her.

Airachnid's lips curled into a smile, so it seems she managed to get a percentage of his attention, and with the reaction she was given.

"It seems you have a plan to execute, very well. I shall leave you to it"

The femme said before completely walking away.

No doubt, Soundwave will choose to delay the search in hopes for his master to be set back on the right track and not be distracted in a nuisance called love.

They're known for being cold and emotionless, there's no such thing as love in their sparks.

And love and war cannot mix.

((Sorry for not updating for a while, not being in the Transformers fandom has caused my inspiration for this book to drop. But seeing you all reading this makes me feel bad of not continuing it. So yeah I'll still update just slowly because of the lack of inspiration. And so sorry that this chapter is short. I'll try to make the next one a bit longer.
