Hey everyone, hope you're enjoying the week off free from reviews! I have two announcements before we go into the next comp, which starts July 15th. Remember if you want to enter I need to know by the 12th!

Also, something I just remembered: I will be gone for the first two weeks of this next competition. TchanTheUnicorn and Hafsa will be handling the account while I am gone. I will be checking in when I can but it will be irregular. So if you have any issues please speak to one of them.

1st Announcement:

So some of you may have noticed that we had a three-way tie. We can't really figure out how to break these things fairly for both our reviewers and the participants so we're going to try this.

From now on, before you submit your reviews, check your score and end it with a fair decimal. We're not asking you to take points away unfairly, but having decimals greatly decreases the likelihood that we'll have a decimal again.

For example, let's say that  I've just added everything up and my person has a 93. I would give that a 93. 25 or some random decimal.

We'll see how this works for July, if it doesn't work, we'll try something else.

2nd Announcement:

Throughout the month and especially this week I have received messages that some of our reviews were too harsh. Please keep in mind that while I understand that sometimes a book just stinks, we're not here to crush people's souls.

Keep these points in mind:

List at least three things they do well, within the different categories.

Be encouraging. Offer advice.

Keep it light hearted.
