"How could you let us down darlin'?" The Engineer asked, staring throw his goggles with a glare. You didn't say anything just stood there as tears welled in the corner of your eyes.
Confusion, fear, and sadness; these were the emotions you were feeling deep inside. You bent your head down, tightly closing your (e/c) teary eyes. You opened your mouth to speak, but nothing came out. 'I-I'm... I'm sorry,' you thought, more salty tears spilled down your face.
"Don't even know why we took ya in kid." A strong Boston accent sounded. You quickly look up eyes wide, as Scout walked off followed by Engineer and Pyro.
"But I don't..." You were interrupted by the Soldier's loud raspy voice.
"There are NO excuses for YOU MAGGOT!!" Soldier yelled, glaring icy daggers threw his helmet making you flinch. Demoman said nothing he just took a swig of his whiskey and mumbled Scottish curse words under his drunken breath.
You watch helplessly as Soldier and Demoman turned on their heels, following the other three that left two minutes ago disappearing into black leaving you with Heavy, Medic, Spy, and Sniper. Your (e/c) slowly darkened as Heavy, Medic, and Spy looked down at you. The last expression was that of disappointment, as they left a couple minutes later say nothing. This, of course, fed your confusion and made the twisting feeling of sadness grow larger and larger.
Sniper didn't move he just stared intently at your small body making you shrink under his gaze. Your mouth opened to speak, but no words came out only a shaky breath passed through your lips. You swallowed hard about to try and speak again when the Aussie turned around and started to walk the opposite direction. Your (h/c) bangs covered your eyes hiding the slow dripping tears that slid down your face.
'Say something, anything.... please.' You thought helplessly. The tears didn't stop they continued to slid down your (s/c) face. 'Please don't leave me."
You couldn't take it anymore you started to walk after Sniper. The walk slowly turned to a jog then sprint, but the faster you ran the farther away he seemed to become. Your hand was outstretched wanting to grab the Aussie, but he grew farther and farther away from you.
After a couple of minutes chasing the Australian man you became slower until your knees buckled and you could no longer run. Trying to lift yourself up was almost impossible, for some reason you felt weak, and your body was heavier than a pile of bricks. You looked up slowly only to be horrified. Sniper was gone, and the world around you was slowly deteriorating right before your eyes.
You tried to move, but every time it seemed like you were about to stand you fell, only to restart over and over and over again. And before you knew it the world disappear from under your feet causing you to fall.
---------------------------------
"AAAaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!"*Thump* You woke with a start, falling on the hard wooden floor of your bedroom. Cold sweat covered your forehead, and tears clung to the corners of your eyes, your heart was racing a mile-a-minute causing your breath to quicken. You took sharp heavy breaths trying to calm your heart rate until...
Soldier burst through your door only wearing his helmet and American flag boxers followed by Heavy, Medic, and Sniper. They were all in their sleepwear, Medic wore a long sleeved shirt with boxer shorts, Heavy wore a white t-shirt and sweat pants while Sniper wore only shots, but nevertheless their weapons were up and ready to fire. Sniper's rifle slowly moved back and forth looking for the intruder, but when he found nothing he lowered his barrel.
"Vat happen fräu?" Medic asked softly walking into your small room. He knelt beside you, but all you did was look away. "Are you hurt? Do I need to heal you?"
"No, no I-I'm fine." You say with a shake of your head wiping a few tears away. Medic looked worried and a little disappointed. His tired blue eyes looked over to Heavy and the others and shook his head. 'Please don't go.' You thought, holding back more tears.
You watched helplessly as Medic stood up and walked towards your door he looked back at you one last time before leaving with Heavy and the others, all of them following close behind. When you were sure everyone had left you let the tears have their way, slowly dripping down your cheek till they reached your chin, and fell to the wooden floor below.

Never in Sniper's entire career of working at Two Fort has he ever seen (y/n) cry before. She always looks so strong and confident on the battlefield, but now she was scared and hopeless, as tears dripped down her (s/c) face. He watched as (y/n) whipped her eyes away and stood up her head bowed. She took a few small steps and sat on her bed. She slowly massaged her temple almost looking relaxed, but then slowly tensed, her shoulders shaking violently.
"h-ha heh," (y/n) laughed lightly, "w-wow I really am ho-hopeless." Sniper could no longer take seeing his friend like this.
"Ay, (y/n), ye' don't haveta cry anymore." Sniper soothed from the doorway. This, of course, caused (y/n) to jump in surprise, but also triggered more tears to flow down the girl's face. "Ah, heck didn't mean to scare ya love." Sniper tried, walking into the room. The Aussie man sat next to the (h/c) haired girl. He slowly moved his hand to (y/n)'s head and pushed her to his side. "Shhh, it's okay Oi'm here, Oi'll always be here." The thick Australian accent sounded making (y/n) tense at first, but slowly relaxed as she listened to the Aussie's steady heart beat.
(Y/n) wasn't a big fan of fiscal contact but the comforting pets Mundy was giving didn't seem to bother the small girl. She snuggled into his warmth inhaling the strong scent of cologne.
----------------------------------
"So why were ye' cry'in sheila?" Sniper asked, looking down at you. Your (e/c) eyes looked up at Mundy then slowly drifted to one of the corners in your room. You were embarrassed to tell the rifle shooting, kukri welding man the reason you were crying, you were scared he would laugh and make fun of you. "Ye' don't haveta tell me if ye' don't want to." Mundy blurted out quietly, as he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck.
"N-no it's fine I ... I-I'll tel-l you." You stammered, still looking at the blind corner in your room. Mundy stared down at you a small smile grew on his lips. 'What. Have. I. Done!' You thought with a panic, "uumm... t-the reason I... I was crying was, um, was, was..." You stopped the flow of stammering words that left your mouth and tried to think of what to say. Sniper looked confused but waited patiently for you to continue.
You didn't say anything for a couple minutes because you were practicing the simple explanation you were going to give to Mundy. When you finally opened your mouth, you were confident, but still worried about being made fun. Slowly pushing your problems down you let the words pass throw your lips.
"It was only a nightmare." You explained with a sigh, looking down at your lap. Sniper gave you a sympathetic smile and rubbed your back comfortingly. "I know it's stupid." You said, your eyes still fixated on your lap.
"Depends on wot ye' dreamed about," Mundy spoke his raspy voice making you look up at him. "Oi've had nightmiares too, it's pretty normal."
"O-oh," was all you could actually mutter out. 'Depends on wot ye' dreamed about,' this played repeat in your head.
The two of you sat in silence for a couple moments your (e/c) eyes staring off into the blackness of your room. The dark shadows reminded you of the nightmare; the black world, and your friends... they left you alone. You didn't realize tears were string down your face till Sniper pointed them out.
"Ye ol'roight (y/n)?" Sniper asked, wiping a tear from your cheek. You only nodded and buried your face into Mundy's chest. Sniper rubbed your back comfortingly slowly making you sleepy; afraid to fall asleep you fought hard not to close your eyes, but the warmth radiating off of Sniper slowly put you to sleep.
Sniper slowly closed his eyes as he listened to the sound of your steady breathing. He gave a silent sigh and lied back on your bed your small body laying next to his. Mundy held his breath as you snuggled into his side the warmth of your body making him sleepy. 'Oi'll keep all those nasty nighmaires from making ye' scared.' Mundy thought before falling asleep with you at his side.
