Smokescreen: REALLY! Talk about embarrassment

Bee:  I have a feeling this won't be the worst of 'em...

Smokescreen: Welp! A dares a dare! I'll do it.

Optimus over comm: Smokescreen, please report to the main room, we have a mission

Smokescreen:  Sure thing (get glare from Bee)... Dad

With that, he left to the main room, where he found Optimus giving him a slightly interested yet amused look

Optimus: we will be searching an abandoned energy mine, Ratchet believes there may be some left

Smokescreen: Will do! Let's go, Dad!

At this Arcee and Bulkhead laughed, lead by Bumblebee, while Ratchet just hid his grin that would have made him look like he was crazy for it not be contained.

Optimus: Ok then, Ratchet, prepare the groundbridge.

So Ratchet did just that. He opened the groundbridge for the two, still giving the Rookie a slightly concerned/weirded-out look. Once they got through Optimus looked over to Smokescreen in pure amusement

Optimus: I see you view me as what humans tend to refer to as, a 'father figure'

Smokescreen just slightly laughed nervously as he rubbed the back of his helm because coincidentally, Bee just commed him telling him that he also couldn't tell the big O about the dare, although he did know of the event.

Smokescreen: Yup! You're like a dad to me, and the rest of the team too,

Optimus: I highly doubt that Ratchet would agree,

S (Imma gettin' real lazy now): Well, except Ratchet of course since he's kinda old and everything

Ratchet: you DO realize this commline is open, right?

S: SCRAP! Sorry Ratchet, won't happen again!

The two finished scouting, but only found an energy pool around a dead Vehicon, so after a while, they found nothing else, came to a conclusion

S: well, I think what happened was the Cons killed one of their own when the Vehicon messed up, and it's energy pool gave off a faint energy signal, and because we're dealing with mere earth technology instead of Cybertronian technology and how faint the signal was, it tool Ratchets radars a while to find them, sound possible Dad?

OP: very much so Smokescreen, we shall head back to base, nothings here.

At this point his 24 hours was already 12, they spent half the time scouting for energy together

Shortly after a green portal appeared before them, allowing the pair to step through

Ratchet grumbled a bit as he went back to work, something about Smokescreen being immature

OP: there is a human activity that their Sire's and mech sparkings tend to do, something called, 'playing catch' I have been hoping to explore the activity, and feel as though it would be a good idea for us to try that together

Ratchet: yeah well my sixth sense is telling me that will lead to something being broken, *pauses and glares at Smokescreen* an I doubt it'll be Bulkhead,

OP: do not worry, old friend, I will see you it that Smokescreen does not accidentally damage anything, if it, *smirk forms in voice* helps you recharge at night, everyone laughed to this, and Optimus put his arm on Smokescreens shoulder in a fatherly way, leading him somewhere that they could play *catch* without Ratchet yelling at them, before Smokescreen knew it the 24 hours were up and Oprimus had both Smokescreen and Bumblebee calling him 'Dad'

Hey, sorry about this being rushed, but I kinda wanna get to the RBA TFP crossover dare, I will probably post a short chap to sort of give an idea of what things are like at base, again, the request said to do this for two chaps, but I want dares while I also want an ask, so I'll make it two dares and two asks for each, if we accomplish the dare limit today I WILL allow extra, because 1. It's mah B-day I'm in a good mood, and 2.
