Entering the Knights of Favonius headquarters is our protagonist and his emergency food. The two were looking for a certain Cryo knight to get their MUNEH.

Paimon: There he is! Now it's time to get our rewards!

Walking towards him, you see that he was muttering to himself without noticing you both.

Kaeya: This is bad... Such a hassle... What am I going to do?

Y/n: Yo, Mista. You look panicked, did you see four slices of cake by any chance?

Finally noticing your presence he turns out and exclaims quite happily.

Kaeya: Oh thank the thousand winds! Y/n, you're arrival must be the grace of the gods!

Y/n: Well, if the gods are collecting their rewards then yes, I am.

Paimon: You haven't forgotten about the promise you made us, didn't you?

Kaeya: Oh right... About that...

And with that the two travel companions deadpan at the eyepatch wearing knight.

Y/n: ...really...

Kaeya: Well if I may ask, envoy sent the Anemo God to save this mere mortal. Could you spare a moment please?

Paimon: Ew.. Cut it out!

Y/n: You know it's taking every fiber from my will-power to not punch you right know?

The tan knight chuckles nervously before replying.

Kaeya: I cannot let my peers hear about this! I cannot seek help from anyone, but you!

Y/n: Goodness, you sound desperate. But why should I help you? You still haven't given us what we we're promised and you expect us to do more work?

Kaeya: I promise this time I'll give it to you and double the rewards for you're trouble. So please, let us move somewhere else fit for this conversation.

Y/n: You better. Otherwise, you won't be seeing me help out in the future. Especially during this Stormterror crises.

Kaeya: Sheesh, for an ally he sure is demanding. Alright, follow me. We'll talk in the courtyard, it's just outside headquarters.

Paimon: What's with the sneakiness?

                 To the courtyard!

Y/n: Well then, just what do you so desperately need help with?

Kaeya: How should I begin... Right, let me tell you of a secret first. It's a secret of my past, and I confined in you to keep it.

This didn't make Y/n feel any better as he was now more suspicious of Kaeya.

Paimon: Don't worry, Paimon's lips are sealed.

Y/n: Really? Just like that? You're gonna trust us with your past and we have met for like what, a day?

Hearing and seeing Y/n's suspicious of him, Kaeya chuckles as he reminds him of a certain red hair then answers.

Kaeya: Well, since your doing this for the reward, I trust that you'll keep it. Besides your the city's hero after all.

Kaeya: As a matter of fact, my grandfather was a pirate!

Paimon: Oh.

Kaeya: Why do you sound so blithe, do you think I'm making this up?

Y/n: Now that you say it, it does sound like that.

Kaeya completely ignores the teen as he was more focused on proving Paimon that this is the truth.

Kaeya: Look at my eyepatch! I inherited it from my grandfather and this is solid proof that we are related by blood!

Y/n: You can inherit eyepathces now?

Kaeya: My! Y/n, how could you not know such common knowledge? This is no different from children inherenting their hairstyle from their parents.

Y/n: That's...not how it works...

Kaeya: Yesterday, I was glancing through the notes of my grandfather and stumbled upon a record that spoke of a treasure...

The mention of a treasure immediately made the two companions interested.

Paimon: Treasure?!

Y/n: I wonder how many Mora is in it...

Kaeya: According to his notes, the treasure is buried in the "Lost Arcadian Ruins".

Paimon: Treasure...

Kaeya: But the location of the ruins is currently unknown. I've tried searching for clues...

Paimon: Treasure! Kaeya, what kind of treasure is it? Gold? Or better yet, gems!?

Kaeya looks visibly insulted and replies to Paimon with quite the attitude.

Kaeya: Hmph! Treasures that consist of nothing, but gold and gems are nothing but third-rate treasures. My grandfather's treasure is a sword! A magic sword that gives the wielder unrivaled powers!

Paimon: Oh wowwwww!

Y/n: And just what makes him think I won't keep the sword to myself and use it to my own gain?

Kaeya: The sword was dropped from Celestia into the sea by a god. It was later salvaged by my grandfather's crew by pure coincidence.

Y/n: If I remember correctly, Celestia is the city where the Seven Gods reside in.

Kaeya: The moment he gripped the sword, thunder roared, billows howled, and the clear skies were suddenly swallowed by raging winds. With the might of the magic sword, my grandfather went to defeat a hydra, a silver-haired banshee, a wicked abyss dragon. But the immense power of the sword enticed many more greedy pirates. To avoid meaningless conflict, my grandfather his the magic sword.

Y/n: Honestly all of this sounds like a fairy tail, which is kinda of what we are right now. Besides, I didn't know hydras and banshee exist in this world.

Kaeya: Believe what you want. And yes, they do exist. The world we know is fascinating, full of unknown and inexplicable wonders.

Paimon: Holey moley! That's just insane!

Kaeya: a gang of treasure hoarders has been very active lately and many ruins had their relics stolen by them. I'm afraid that soon they'll discover the Arcadian Ruins and the magic sword will be lost...

Paimon: We won't let the sword get in the wrong hands! You just rest assured that Paimon and Y/n are here to help!

Kaeya: Great! Please keep it a secret. I'll wait for your good news!

After that he leaves and goes back to the headquarters. Paimon turns towards you and exclaims excitedly.

Paimon: Hey! Whatcha think, Y/n? We're talking about a super-duper powerful sword!

Y/n: But is it really, really true? Because we're already in the 4th chapter and getting the sword very early sounds too OP.

Paimon: Well, there is one way to find out! Let's go to the Adventures' Guild and see if we can find out more! The Adventurers' should know more about the ruins, right?

The both of you start heading towards the Guild.

Paimon: Oh right! What did you mean by chapter, Y/n?

Y/n: If I told you you'd have a possible mental breakdown, so later.

After reaching the Guild's entrance, you see the branch master of the guild by the name of Cyrus.

Cyrus: Hey kiddo! Welcome to the Adventurers' Guild!

Paimon: Hmph! We're not looking for something that boring! We're looking for a sword that fell from Celestia. One that could kill eight headed banshees and silver haired hydras. It's super, mega, Uber powerful!

Y/n: ... You had one job, Paimon.

Paimon: Oh don't worry! It's fine as long as Paimon doesn't tell them the treasure's location is. So Cyrus, do you know where the Lost Arcadian Ruins is supposed to be?

Y/n: I give up...

Cyrus: Huh, Arcadian Ruins? Never heard of them. Thanks for the Intel anyways. If you do find these ruins, I'd love to see them.

Paimon: Uh.. My... Intel..?

Y/n:  The eyes are open, the mouth moves, but mister brain has long since departed.

Paimon: I.. Uhh... I'm sorry, Y/n...

What they didn't know is that someone was spying on them from behind the stair case, and he looked like he was up to no good.

???: Huh, that sounds intriguing.

And he sneaked away like the question marks he is.

Walking away from the branch master the two are heading back to Kaeya in the headquarters.

Paimon: Still no clues... Well it's not like it's gonna be easy! Come on, it's the hiding place of the super amazing sword!

Y/n: I'm never telling you any secrets...

Paimon: But Paimon thought we were best friends! C'mon Y/n, give Paimon another chance. Think of all the evil times we had together! Like that one time we captured crabs and giving them sticks to fight!

Y/n: *snickers* that was the first thing you thought of, out of the all chaotic thing we did?

Paimon: Well, Paimon did come up with that idea after all.

Y/n: Okay fine. You get another chance, for the laughs.

Paimon: Yay! Paimon wins!

Reaching their destination they see the pirate's decendant waiting in front of the HQ.

Kaeya: Oh, you're back! Do you have news for me.

Y/n: We got nothing, chief. This ain't it.

Pqimkn: We asked around the Adventures' Guild and like he said, we found nothing.

Kaeya: Haha, that much is expected.

Paimon: Why's that?

Kaeya: Oh I only mean that. What's the fun in finding it without the hard work? However I do have some clues.

Y/n: Hm? that was fast. Almost as fast as my dad leaving after I was born. I wonder how he's doing.

Kaeya: I sent someone to collate black market intel. It seems like someone does knows about the Arcadian Ruins.

Paimon: Really? Where's the guy?

Kaeya:Now, now, as per the black market's rules. They will send someone to meet us to prevent leaks.

Y/n: Well, is it safe for you to tell us outside of the HQ?

Kaeya: Don't worry about that, I know what I'm doing. You will be meeting the informant at the Whispering Woods.

Paimon: Wait, what about you?

Y/n: I'm guessing it's not very ideal for a knight to be show his face and be seen doing business with the balc market, isn't it?

Kaeya: That's right, you read my mind, Y/n. You definitely know how things go. You have my thanks. Of course, you'll be compensated for your troubles,by the Knights.

Paimon: Oooh, no problemo!

Kaeya takes his leave and goes inside the HQ. Leaving the two to themselves as now their next destination was ahead.

       Timeskippu to the Woodsu

Reaching the Whispering Woods they, as they hear someone running in their direction, Y/N takes a fighting stance and from behind the trees comes a Vietnamese soldi-i mean a girl using the secret technique of the Joestars on hilichurls.

Jumping into action the h/c haired boy  uses his wing ability to FUS RUH DAH the enemies as they are sent flying, without missing a beat he jumps and slashes his sword on a hilichurl killing it as the others get up and charge at him.

Usuing his heavy attack he slashes them multiple times at once before killing them.

Vile: Why is this happening to me?...i should have helped him...

Paimon: Him, who?

Vile: Thanks so much for saving me. You're far more reliable than those Favonius guys.

                  (Diluc approves)

Paimon: It's nothing, he's a traveler. He has to deal with these stuff  like all the time.

Y/n: I can talk y'know.

Vile: Traveler? I've heard stories about you, I didn't think I'd be saved by the one I'm supposed to meet.

Y/n: Oh, so it's you.

Vile: Haha, I don't know how I could pay you back initially, but now. I think I'll just give you the intel for free. People in our circle know how important the network is.

Y/n: Really, just like that? No catch?

Vile: Well, you did save my life.

Paimon: LUCKY!

Y/n: For eyepatch. He's the one who's supposed to pay.

Paimon: Oh right.

Vile: Listen well then, the intel on the Arcadian Ruins. "Three six-armed giants reside in the city in the lake. Two guard the statue, one, the treasure."

Paimon: Riiight... Wait, is that it?

Y/n: Great, riddles. Fantastic...

Vile: Well, there is also this map.

Paimon: Could.. This be the X-marks-the-spot? Well, should be a piece of cake for ya, right Y/n?

Y/n just looks at Paimon with a deadpanned expression.

Paimon: Well, if you can't solve it, we could ask Kaeya. He seems like a nerd too.

Vile: Well, I'll leave it to you. I'll be going now.

And with that she takes her leave to whoever knows where.

Y/n: I'll just solve it, I guess. In the picture there is a statue if the Anemo God let's go there first.

           A misspelled Timskap

Right now Y/n I seen sitting in the hands of the statue looking for the treasure location.

Y/n: "Three six-armed giants in the city in the lake, two guard the statue, one the treasure"... Well, I'm in the city so that's done. And this thing in the picture it looks like a windmill, there are about three. So basically the windmill in the middle has the treasure.

Paimon: You mean that one?

She points at a windmill that's not too far from the statue.

Y/n smirks and replies.

Y/n: JACKPOT! Good job, Paimon!

She laughs a little and says.

Paimon: What can Paimon say? Paimon is very good at observation.

You stand up and begin gliding towards the windmill, people look at you questinably, but you ignore them. You reach the windmill before climbing it like Spiderman while you were climbing you spot a phianemo mushroom so you take that as well.

Finally getting to the wooden platform you see a chest from the picture. You get to it opening it.

Paimon: Ooo. Let me see what's inside!

Y/n: You confuse me sometimes. Switching from third to first person.

Paimon: I choose how I want to talk! Hm? "She doesn't love him at all. The passion rushing through the clear spring is just a front. When she's cold and alone, her true heart is revealed."

Y/n: This is the most confusing riddle I've ever heard in my life. Honestly it sounds mkre like a story than a riddle. And here is another map.

Paimon: More riddles?! Paimon's dizzy already, oh no! Paimon used all of her brain juice!

Y/n: You never had any to begin with.

She looks at you with her smol angry look.

Paimon: Paimon'll let you have all the fun. Or, you could get Kaeya to help.

Y/n: Well, the X is basically on Springvale, I'm guessing that's the spring part from the riddle and maybe the "cold and alone" part me has something to do with Cryo. So our destination is Springvale, but what in the world is the "passion" part? Well, off to Kaeya we go.

Paimon: Any idea what that means?

Kaeya: Is this a stripped page from a love novel that you just happen to find?

Y/n: Probably. I was hoping you'd know the others.

Paimom: Oh, so it's not a clue. No wonder someone as smart as Paimon wasn't able to get it.

Kaeya: Hahaha... I'm just joking.

Y/n: Bruh moment.

Paimon: Hmph! Take this more seriously, Kaeya!

The emergency food pouted.

Kaeya: Heh, well the riddle is hard to figure out, clear spring... Is it referring to Springvale like you said, Y/n."Passion rushing through a clear spring..." so when does passion rush through a clear spring,like the best thing to happen in a spring?

Y/n: Hmm, well the best thing is water,and Springvale has a waterfall near it. So maybe, when the water level changes?

Kaeya: Not a bad idea, you're probably right. It appears the solution to this enigma is the waterfall behind Springvile. Only the clear spring that blesses Mondstat can reveal the passion described here. And the "heart" of the waterfall must refer to the cliff on left side of the waterfall. I noticed it once when I was on patrol in the area. The ending "cold and alone" probably refer to do with Cryo which can be controlled by a Vision. You should probably take someone who can manipulate Cryo with you.

Paimon: Woah! Thanks Kaeya!

Kaeya: It's nothing, if a Knight of Favonius can't solve a riddle, how can we be trusted to deal with criminal mysteries, beside Y/n over here seemed to have got almost all of it.

Y/n: As much as I like the ego growth. Who do I bring? You're the only Cryo user I know. Besides isn't this mission supposed to be secret? I can't go around asking around until I find someone.

Kaeya: Uh, well. I can't come with you... Wait! There is someone by the name of Diona, maybe she could accompany you. She is in Cat's Tail tavern. Go there, just be warned. She is quite the challenge. Just offer her money for her troubles, she'll come by...eventually.

Paimon: Well then, let's go and meet her! We'll leave you to your "criminal mysteries".

Kaeya: Erm...

Paimon: No wait... Leaving you to SOLVING your criminal mysteries.

          TO CAT'S TAIL TAVERN

Entering the tavern, it's boss greats the two travelers.

Margaret: Oh hello, welcome to Cat Tails' tavern. I'm afraid we can't serve you, since you are underage.

Paimon: We're not her for that. We want to meet Diona! We need her help with something important.

Margaret: Oh, you're here for her then. That explains it. She is over in her room right now. She is currently bu-

???: Hm, who're these two, Margaret? They should leave!

Y/n: Eh? Who's this sassy lost child?

Margret: Oh, Diona you're here.

Diona 'Cat Loli that serves alcohol'

Paimon: Wait, that's Diona!? She's a kid!

As Y/n chuckles, Paimon was visibly agitated.

Y/n: Calm down, you two. As entertaining as this is. DIOna, we need you're help with something, that uses Cryo powers.

Diona: Hm! And why should I?

She goes back to her room to get her weapon.

Paimon: Sheesh! Kaeya better give us very good rewards for this!

Finally coming out from her room, Diona is seen walking with her bow in hand.

Leaving the tavern the three get on their way to leave Mondstat.

Diona: What even is your names?

Y/n: Mine is Y/n, the flying marshmallow is Paimon.

Paimon: HEY!

Diona: Heh, well you already know me. Let's go.

Timeskip brought you by chibi Paimon and chibi Diona slapping their hands on each other.

Arriving at their destination the three are now on the left cliff of the waterfall.

Diona: Ah, what a nice view. So I'm guessing you want me to light up these Cryo monuments, right?

Paimon: Correct!

She readies her bow and charges her arrows then shoots all three monuments as a chest appears. Y/n goes up to it and open it,seeing another map...

Paimon: This time, the mysteries have all been solves, it sure took alot of work. But in all fairness this treasure map really is terrible, it looks like it was drawn by a pirate.

Diona: You two are treasure hunting?

Y/n: In a way, yes.

Paimon: So now...

Y/n: We should report back first. Diona is with us and I don't want her to know about this.

Diona: Eh, why's that? I thought you wanted to treasure hunt.

Paimon: Indeed. Paimon believes that there is no need to report back! Let's go for it! Don't want anyone else to get there before we do! Like.. Like the treasure hoarders!

Diona: That does sound reasonable, for someone like you.

Paimon: It's nothing! Let's go! Paimon just wants to borrow the sword to-No, you heard nothing. Paimon ah- Paimon just wants to see it. Definitely not become super, mega powerful and do nothing but play... *nervous laugh* we'll save the chit-chat for later. Arcadian treasure hunt here we go!

Diona: Hey, aren't you forgetting something?

Paimon: Huh?

Diona: I only agreed on helping you with the Cryo stuff on this not go into a dungeon!

Paimon: O-oh right. Uhhh, Y/n?

Y/n: Well... You could stay in Springvale until we return...

Diona: In a place I don't know? Yeah, no.

Y/n: Well, you could go back. I'll come back and give you the money.

Diona: I can't be so sure with you guys, you could be scamming me since you think I'm a kid!

Y/n: Will choose something then!

Diona: Hmph! Fine, I'll go back. But remember the payment if you don't come back, I'm reporting the Knights of Favonius.

She starts walking away back to Mondstat.

Y/n: Finally...

Paimon: You said it...

Y/n: Alright the treasure location is near Falcon Coast. If we get there and finish this fast, I'll let you mess around with the sword...

Paimon: Really!? Yes!

Y/n: That is, if you can pick it up.

               Another Timeskip 

Finally the two reached the ruins.

Paimon: This must be the Arcadian Ruins. Is it just me or does it look... Plain?

Y/n: Well, it is a good hiding location.

Paimon: Oh, Paimon gets it! The perfect disguise is always in plain sight! Kaeya's grandpa sure is impressive.

Inside the ruins you hear some water splashing, as if someone is running on the puddles.

Y/n: Shh, Paimon. Listen...

Paimon: Oh! Mice.

Y/n: What? You didn't even try, did you?...

Paimon: It's no time to be suspicious, we're close!

Y/n: Weren't you the one who mentioned treasure hoarders?

Paimon: Hurry! The treasure is waiting for us!

Y/n: Good grief...

And thus they entered the Lost Arcadia. Of course like any other dungeon there were hilichurls. Let's just say Y/n Sparta kicked some of them of the edge. There was also a spinning flamethrower. It was quite easy to get past it since it was well... Spinning.

You finally reach an open room with no one and nothing in it.

Paimon: ugh, is this the end?

Y/n: I've been in enough of these types of room to know a boss fight is incoming.

Paimon flies to the middle of the room looking around.

Paimon: Where are you, my treasure!? Let's look around, Y/N!

Before they could do anything they hear a laugh. And it was non either than the guy who spied on them he is wearing a black bandana.

???: Hahaha, I'll save you the trouble.

Y/n: *sarcasticly* OH really? How kind of you!

???: Tsk, how about you let me take over.

Y/n: Let me guess, you're one of the retards that are the treasure hoarders?

???: Watch you're mouth,kid,because if it annoys me, it'll be your last!

Y/n: Wow, I am veeery threatened. You come out alone talking like a tough guy. Great job.

The sarcasm was so hard. It's as almost as hard as my dad slapped me when I get a question in math wrong.

Izzard: I'm guessing you don't fully know who I am. I'm Izzard, and I thank you both on behalf the Treasure Hoarders.

Paimon: Ugh... We've been keeping a low profile, how did word get out?

Y/n: Look into the mirror for the answer.

Paimon: The mirror did it!?

Y/n: My expectations we're low, but holy fuck...

Paimon: What do you mean?!

And so the two started arguing.

Izzard: Uhh, did they forget about me?

Y/n: Y'know I'm not even gonna bother anymore.

Paimon turns towards the hoarder and says with confidence.

Paimon: Hmph! Paimon isn't gonna let you have the treasure without a fight!

Izzard: Heh, you'd be wise not to underestimate us. My gang is outside waiting for my orders.

Y/n: and I could just hold you hostage, right now.

Izzard: However, they're not as...sociable as me.

Y/n: It's either that you don't have a gang, or they are introverted bunch.

Out of nowhere a familiar voice comes.

Kaeya: I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but your gang won't be participating in your current plan.

Kaeya said as he approached with two Knights by his sides.

Kaeya: If you'd like to ask why, you could see them...in Mondstat Prison. Or perhaps you'd like to join them permanently.

Izzard: The Knights...?

Paimon: Hey, it's Kaeya!

Y/n: Yes, Paimon. We can see.

Paimln: Kaeya, he wants to steal your treasure! Get him!

Izzard: Ugh, almost had it!

Kaeya: Oh, you mean the treasure? Sorry, but there wasn't any treasure to begin with. You came all the way... For nothing. Just give it up.

Paimon: What? No... treasure? *turns towards Y/n* Did Kaeya just say there is no treasure!?

Y/n: Take a deep breath. Yes, he did.

Izzars: Hah, you got me good. Didn't think the Knights would resort to such tactics.

Kaeya: A thief has no right to criticize the Knights of Favo-Wait, what are you-

He starts running away towards a gate.

Izzard: You're not gonna get me!

Y/n: Are we just gonna stand here or... Something?

The gate's door lights up as from it comes a Ruins Guard

            'Annoying piece of shit' 

Izzard: Wha-whats this?! Oh god! I didn't mean it!

Izzard: You Knights! You're not gonna watch me die, are you?

Kaeya: Hmm, what an interesting suggestion.

Izzard: Okay, okay fine! I'll confess and go quietly! Just please help me!

Kaeya: Alright then, guess I have to do some overtime work again.

He turns towards the two Knights.

Kaeya: Take care of him, me and Y/n are gonna deal with the Ruins Guard.

Y/n: Ah shit, here we go again.

The ruins guard turns around and targets Kaeya, it shoots rockets at him, but he was able to dodge it.

(I hate the rockets so much)

Kaeya runs out to the guard and uses his Cryo powers as Y/n helped spread it like the plague in Europe.

After a couple of minutes trading turns to slash the Ruins Guard, it finally stumples and falls to the ground. This reminds me of a song. He it is if you're curious.

Izzard: How embarrassing... Having my life saved by a knight...

Kaeya: Don't forget what you promised... Or that thing will be the least of your worries.

Izzard: Hey! Is this how the Knights of Favonius treat the people they catch?

Y/n: I dunno. I'll test it out later.

Kaeya:Heheh, I'm joking.Alright... Let's take him back.

Knights: Sir, yes sir!

Knight#1: Capitan, should we take those two as well. Especially the h/c haired one, he looks to be enjoying this.

Paimln: What!?

Y/n: Oh, I am.

Kaeya: Haha, of course not. They're the ones who made this arrest possible. Without them spreading out fabricated intel,we wouldn't be able to catch the Treasure Hoarders.

Y/n: So that was a fucking lie.

Paimon: *cries* You're a bad man for lying to me... Shame on the Knights!

(DELUX DILUC APPROVED)  

She goes to hug Y/n for comfort, while Y/n was just standing there blankly.

Kaeya: Alright, alright... Stop it already. Though the treasure didn't exist, you did want it for yourself, didn't you? Otherwise you would have informed me of your intentions, no?

Paimon: That... Well... Ah.. Hmph!

Y/n: *facepalms*

Paimon: Let's go, Y/N! Paimon's done talking to him.
