1 year has passed, both moved on...well kind of.

they haven't talked to eachother ever since, lisa never stopped asking bambam how's jungkook doing and same goes for jungkook.

they may have stopped talking but they never stopped caring for eachother.

both hoped they'll maybe meet again someday, wherever their destiny brings them.

this year both groups bts and blackpink has gotten bigger, they have their schedules full everytime so maybe this was the better option after all.

"lisa? you've been staring outside for a minute. are you okay? you don't have to attend this." jisoo told lisa cause she knew how hard this is for lisa meeting jungkook again in an award show.

lisa looked over to jisoo and nodded, "i'm okay unnie! don't worry. i just want to do this for blinks and give my all to repay them!" lisa said showing her brightest smile she could show.

"okay, just tell me somethings wrong, yeah? we're always here for you." jisoo gave lisa a small pat on her head.

blackpink went in the arena and took pictures for the red carpet, many fans we're screaming the girls name in happiness.

once four of them we're done, they we're called to go to backstage for makeup retouch.

as they we're walking towards their room blackpink and bts crossed passed.

it was intense for both of the groups since the thing happened with the maknaes.

they just bowed at eachother like professionals and continued walking.

but what the other members didn't see is that the maknaes locked eyes.

lisa felt her heart crack when she locked eyes with him. she still feels something after a year. she wonders if jungkook still feels the same.

"yah! jimin can you hurry up, we're waiting for you." jin said to a busy jimin on his phone texting rosé.

jimin locked his phone and stood up, "yeah, yeah. i'm not like you guys who doesn't have someone." jimin smirked while fixing his outfit.

all members ignored jimins words except for the maknae.

jungkook walked with jimin to their seats.

"jimin-hyung, is l-li..is lisa okay?" jungkook asked hoping jimin would know cause of rosé.

jimin looked at the younger, "yeah, she is. why'd you asked?"

jungkook looked down, remembering how they locked eyes a while ago.

jungkook saw pain in lisa's eyes.

"nothing, just wanna make sure she's okay."

its been awhile since the show started, many groups got their awards and got to perform.

finally, they can go home after this.

the mc called all the groups for a group photo on stage and all of them went as the mc told them to.

jungkook has been observing lisa, not in a creepy way. of course he wanna observe the love of his life. (wink)

all the groups got together until they we're done and went to the backstage.

jennie has been concerned for lisa all night, she doesn't look okay.

"lisa? are you okay? just hang in there for awhile, okay? we're almost done." jennie said while patting lisa at the back.

"i'm okay unnie, maybe i need to use the restroom." lisa said.

her unnies nodded for lisa to excuse herself.

as jungkook was still observing, he wants to follow her.

he wants to talk to her again. maybe for the last time.

maybe hug her.

hold her.

tell her that it's gonna be okay.

without anymore thoughts, jungkook followed her immediately and grabbed lisa by her hand and locked themselves in the restroom.

lisa was flustered by the sudden happenings.

the room was dark, she couldn't see anything. am i being kidnapped?

"let go of me-" her words we're cut off by a deep voice.

"lisa." she knew right away who's voice it belongs to.

"j-jungkook? i can't see you. is this really you?"

jungkook switched the lights on and they locked eyes again.

many things we're coming back to them.

the sweetness, the butterflies. they both felt they we're living in a fantasy.

lisa squezzed her eyes and hugged jungkook tightly.

"i miss you. i miss you so much." there we're tears falling out from the older.

jungkook hugged back and kissed the girls forehead, "i miss you more."

they broke the hug and both of them tried to speak.

"i-" they both said it at the same time and laughed it off.

"no, you go first." again, they said it at the same time.

"well, i just..how are you? it's been awhile. i'm sorry for what happened before..i-i you k-know we didn't have a c-choice but to f-follo-" lisa was cut off by a sudden hug.

"shhh, i know. we both know." jungkook said while stroking lisas hair at the back trying to comfort her.

"well..." jungkook doesn't know what to say.

he pulled lisa away softly and looked into her eyes. he's devastated, he knows they can't still go back like it used to.

lisa spoke up, "what are we gonna do now, should we just ran away?" she jokingly said and jungkook laughed with her.

both stopped laughing together, "you know we still can't be together.." jungkook said softly and lisa sadly nodded.

"all we can do is wait and do our best." jungkook is right, is he?

jungkook softly grabbed lisa's face, "can you wait?"

lisa thought about this all the time. being with jungkook always brings happiness to her even though they had to go alot of challenges, it's still worth it. it's worth waiting.

"of course, i can wait. i'll wait for you. for us." lisa grabbed jungkook and hugged him tightly.

"we'll get through this, yeah?" jungkook softly asked.

lisa nodded in reply.
