First Chapter! Comment and spelling/grammar mistakes you find. Please vote!!!!

My mom said I was born running and that when I came out I kicked the doctor in the face. However 2 minutes later when my twin, Caleb, came out he was so still the doctors were afraid he was dead, at least until he started screaming.

We were polar opposites, Caleb and I, which is probably why we were such good friends. We hardly ever fought because we just cared about different things. I am very competitive but Caleb never cared so whenever we raced or played a game he would let me win. After a while I realized that but it didn't stop me from trying my hardest every time.

The only thing I wasn't competitive at was school. I didn't do too well in school, well that was an understatement. I would have failed all my classes if Caleb didn't help me in almost every subject. In return I helped him in PE and chased off any bullies that tries to hurt him. He attracted a lot of attention between his good grades and his big mouth. In Grade 8 when we were 12, he comes running up to me.

"Sky hide me!" He cried.

"What'd you do this time?" I asked him.

He didn't need to answer because at that moment this kid, I think his name was Gabe, comes running into the cafeteria screaming "GET OVER HERE YOU LITTLE **** I'M GOING TO HURT YOU SO BAD YOUR ****** CHILDREN WILL FEEL THE PAIN!!!"

As he was still looking around Caleb whispered to me. "He was being a jerk to some kid so I may have called him some names."

"He seems pretty angry for you to have just called him some names."

"And I may have insulted his mother as well."

I rolled my eyes. Big brain doesn't not equal common sense. "Okay I'll handle this but you're going to need to get seen."

"But..." he tries to protest.

"Consider this your punishment. Now go be bait." I pushed him out into the middle of the floor.

While I waited for the dumb ape named Gabe to notice Caleb, I got myself ready. I took off my sweatshirt to reveal my smaller frame and messed my hair. Pulling my reading glasses out of my pocket, (yes I have reading glasses, do you have a problem with that?) I put them on, to reveal Nerdy Sky ™. I turned to see Caleb pinned against the wall by Gabe who was yelling insults at my brother. I ran over, making sure to trip a couple times to seem weaker than I really was before pushing Gabe off of Caleb.

"Let go of my brother!" I cried.

Gabe smirked, just as I knew he would. "Well, well, well. What have we here? Does widdle Caleb need to be saved by his baby sister? He asked in a baby voice.

"Leave me and Caleb alone!" I said for a response.

"Oh," he straightened up. "And what are you going to do about it?" He asked.

I calmly took off my glasses and handed them to Caleb. I put on my sweatshirt as Gabe said, "oh man she's putting on a sweatshirt guys, I'm so sca..." before he was cut off by my fist hitting his face.

I pulled back like my Taekwondo instructor taught me and stood in a fighting stance. Gabe wiped blood from off his face and looked at me eyes full of fire. "Oh. It is on." He said in a low tone and ran at me. That was a horrible move, I just grabbed him from around the waist and, using his body momentum, threw him against the wall.

He sat there dazed for a moment before staggering to his feet, he tried running at me again, maybe the hit to the head made him forget how that didn't work the last time he tried it? However this time I just sent an uppercut to the face followed by a left hook which left him dazed on the floor.

At that moment the principal, Ms. Smith, came over. "What in the world is going on here?" She asked.

One of Gabe's friends tried to explain that I just unexpectedly hit him without any warning but Ms. Smith stopped him. "You," she said pointing at a student "go get the nurse." The girl she pointed at scrambled to get to the nurse.

"You, you and you." She pointed at me, my brother and the boy who tried to explain things to her. "Come with me."

She led us to her office and had the boy, his name was Aldan, sit outside while she talked to us. "Okay, you two, You don't seem like the kind to fight so it must've been for a good reason. What happened?"

Caleb told most of the story with me coming in to say some bits he forgot to say. After we gave our piece, she called in Austin. She talked to him for what seemed like forever before calling us all in. "So I've decided that while Gabe is more at fault, Sky and Caleb, you two should've gotten a teacher instead of trying to fight for yourselves. So you two will receive 2 lunch detentions each while Mr. Gabe, as soon as he gets back from the nurse, will get in school suspension for 2 days. We have no room in this school for bullies."

After we left and went to our next class he was really quiet, " what's going on?" I asked.

"I'm mad at myself for getting lunch detentions."

I rolled my eyes. "Oh cmon we got off that pretty easily compared to what she could've given us. Plus it's just a couple of days of cleaning the lunch table and that's it."

He shook his head, "no. This goes on your permanent record. this lunch detention could ruin my chances of going to a good Tertiary."

I rolled my eyes again. "Tertiary is ages away and we've got to get through Testing first."

Testing was a big subject when we were in Secondary. No one really knew what testing was like and every student had to go to Testing. It was a common topic when we were that age. However I didn't exactly get a normal Testing, it was interrupted slightly by, you know, the apocalypse.

So what'd you all think of that? I'll update in a week or so. Depends on how bored I get.
