The day started off as any other day would. Haruhi would wake up, take a shower and get dressed. Breakfast would be waiting for her on her kitchen counter with a note from her dad saying 'have a good day at school!'. 

As Haruhi closed and locked her apartment door she saw the host club waiting in a black limo on the street. She sweatdropped as she went down the stairs and towards the limo

"Good morning guys, not to sound rude but why are you here?" Haruhi asked

"Well, I thought it would be a wonderful idea to pick my darling daughter up to take her to school!" said Tamaki.

"Really? I'm fine taking the train" said Haruhi as she rubbed the back of her neck

"We tried to tell him" said Hikaru

"But he wouldn't listen" said Kaoru 

As they were talking, Yukio stepped out of his apartment with rose following behind him. As roses eyes landed on the massive limo in front of Haruhi, she snickered.

"Good morning Haruhi, living the rich life now I see?" said rose jokingly 

"Good morning you guys, and its nothing like that, they just wanted to give me a lift" said Haruhi as she awkwardly laughed.

"Aww what? so that means we're not walking to school together?" ask Yukio

"I-I mean I hadn't answered them ye-"

"You can join her if you'd like" said Tamaki

"Yeah, we can pick all of you guys up to take to school!" said Honey

Just then, Kyran came out holding a Sleeping Kaida, she was dressed but her hair was a little messy.

"ah, Kyran! good morning" said Tamaki

Kyran ignored Tamaki's greeting and looked at Haruhi "Good morning Haruhi"

Haruhi waved at Kyran while Tamaki sulked "I'm here too ya know"

Kyran tiredly rolled his eyes " Why are you here?" he asked bluntly

Tamaki flinched "We were seeing if you all wanted a ride to school"

"We can even drop Kaida off at kindergarten!" added Honey

Kyan looked at Haruhi "Did you agree to this?" he asked

"Well not yet, I didn't want to just leave without telling you guys, since we walk and take the train together" said Haruhi

"Aww Haruhi cares about us!" said rose

"We enjoy the company" said Yukio grinning surprising the hosts

"Well? what do you say, do you want a lift to school?" asked Tamaki

Kyran narrowed his eyes but sighed "We'll go if Haruhi does"

"Well then Haruhi what do you say" Kyoya said as he wrote in his notebook

'somehow I feel like he's threatening me' Haruhi thought

"Sure, let's all go" said Haruhi as Tamaki got out of the limo to hold the door.

"After you~" said Tamaki as Haruhi got in the car. 

The group got in one by one, first rose, then, Yukio and lastly Kyran and Kaida. As they sat down, they took in how spacious the limo was.

"Well then onward to school!" said Tamaki

~Tiny time skip~

As the hosts sat in the limo, they observed how Haruhi talked with the group. They kept their voices down but still snickered and laughed, Kyran wouldn't laugh but he would smirk. They learned that Kaida was an extremely heavy sleeper. As she sat on Kyran's lap laying her head on his chest, she didn't seem bothered by the conversation happening around her. She did wake up a little later though, she rubbed her eyes and let out a big yawn. As she yawned, the hosts noticed how her teeth(specifically her canines) were really sharp. they decided to ask about it

" those are some sharp teeth you got there Kaida~chan" said Honey

Kaida immediately closed her mouth and covered it with her hands, her cheeks turning pink.

"We're not saying something bad, we just think its.......unique" said kyoya

"Unique?" Kaida repeated confused. Kyran put his hand on her head

"He means different, I don't see how though, runs in the family" said Kyran

"Does that mean, your teeth are crazy sharp too?" Asked Tamaki

Kyran frowned " 1. They aren't 'crazy sharp' they're just a little pointy and 2. what part of 'runs in the family do you not understand?" Said Kyran annoyed at Tamaki's question

As Tamaki sulked, the rest of the teens continued to talk

"Speaking of family, we've never seen an adult with you guys" Said Hikaru

"Not even when we first met

"So what?" said Rose

"Well, where are your parents? shouldn't they be taking care of you?" asked Kyoya

Kyran, Yukio and Rose went quiet, their hair shadowing their eyes. Kaida looked upset as she gripped Kyran's shirt

"That's none of your damn business" Yukio answered

"Bu-

"NONE of your business" Kyran snapped.

The car stopped in front of Ouran Kindergarten. 

"We'll walk from here thanks" said rose as the group got out and slammed the door

"Seems like family is a touchy subject for them" said, Tamaki

"It's strange, when I pull up their files, all that's there is their name, age, and address. there's no record of them going to middle school or even elementary school." said Kyoya

"Maybe they were homeschooled" said Haruhi

"Or maybe something happened to them for them to not have gone" Added Honey

"Very peculiar in my opinion" Said Kyoya

"we can think about this later, right now we still have to get to school" said Haruhi as she watched her friends walk to school.

Meanwhile, with the teens, Kyran had already fixed kaida's hair and left her with Ms.Heather (But not before giving her a deadly glare). As they walked, Kyran put his finger to his Canine.

"Are they really that noticeable?" he asked 

"Are you really thinking about what they said?, that's not like you" said Yukio

"True but its still good to know what sticks out about us so we can fix it" Said Kyran as he bit lightly bit his thumb.

Even though it was light, his canine had no trouble piercing through his skin making a tiny drop of blood seep through

"That is pretty sharp, is that bad?" said Rose

Kyran looked at his thumb. He licked the blood off and the tiny cut was immediately gone.

"No, its fine as long as I keep peoples eyes off of my mouth, shouldn't be too hard" said Kyran as he ran his fingers through his hair.

He sighed.

'humans just don't know how to mind their own business do they?'
