*Author's Pov*

When Kyran stayed back with Kaida, Yukio, Rose and Haruhi continued their walk to school.Rose and Yukio were nervously quiet.

"You guys sure do rely on Kyran don't you?" Said Haruhi trying to thaw the freezing tension

Rose blushed embarrassedly. "Y-Yeah, Kyran is like the adult in our group, he's the one who protects us from untrustworthy people"

"I see, is that why you look to Kyran before making any decision? He does seem very mature for his age" Asked Haruhi.

Rose nodded "Yup! He's the one who will guide us on a path to a good life"

Yukio looked at Rose and blushed "I-I can be just as mature as Kyran" Said Yukio mumbling.

Rose giggled "not blushing like that you can't!"

Rose Continued to giggle while Yukio's blush faded into an embarrassed frown.

Haruhi smiled as the two joked,they seemed very close, close like siblings would be.

As the trio reached the school the host club was waiting for them and there were faint smiles on rose and Yukio's faces.

The host club was a bit surprised when rose and Yukio smiled at them even if it was just the tiniest smile.

"Good morning" Rose and Yukio said in unison

"Good morning you Haruhi! Good morning to you two as well!" Said Tamaki as hyper as usual.

"Hey, where's Kyran? Isn't he usually with you guys?" Asked hikaru

"He had business to take care of" Said Yukio

"He'll be here soon" Said Rose as Yukio took her hand.

"That's good , it wouldn't be good to miss a day of school without a reason " Said kyoya pushing up his glasses.

Yukio rolled his eyes. "Whatever, c'mon rose let's go" Said Yukio as Rose took his hand.

As they walked into the school the host club stared at the duo.

"So much for being in a good mood." Said the twins in unison

Haruhi sighed

'Always count of kyoya to bring down the happy atmosphere'

As class went on the classroom door open to reveal Kyran. Yukio and rose drew their attention the Kyran as he sat down.

"Mr Fujiyama, do you have an excuse for being late?" Said the teacher.

Kyran narrowed his eyes at the teacher.

"Yes but it's none of your concern, just be glad I'm here now" Said Kyran, the frown visible on his face.

The teacher frowned but didn't say anything else as they went back to the lesson.

"So how'd it go?" Whispered Yukio.

"There won't be anymore problems" Kyran stated.

Rose giggled "gave her teacher quite a scare huh?"

Kyran simply nodded leaving Haruhi and the twins to question what kyan did.
*time skippu!*

The bell rang and all the students got up.

"Yay! Lunch time" Said rose as she stretched while getting out of her chair.

"I'm starving, what do guys wanna eat?" Asked Yukio

Kyran pulled out his wallet. "We can all share a lunch, how bout it?" He Asked

Yukio and rose nodded and followed Kyran out of the classroom not noticing that the twins were watching them.

"I think I found a way to get them into the host club" Said hikaru

"Well what's the plan?" Asked kaoru.

~Meanwhile in the cafeteria ~

Kyran, Rose and Yukio sat at a back table and set down the one big tray of food.

"I call dibs on the fish!"Said rose.

"I want the rice!"Said Yukio.

"Guess I'll have the soup then"
Said Kyran.

The trio each picked up what they choose and were about to eat when they were stopped by none other than Tamaki.

"Hello there!" Said Tamaki as her walked over to the trio's table.

They acknowledged him for a moment before chowing down on their food.

Yukio and Rose's eyes sparkled with happiness .

'Delicious!' They they thought in unison.

Kyran took a sip on his soup and smirked before continuing.

Tamaki went to his emo corner, moving his finger around on the floor.

"They ignored me for food!" Said Tamaki.

"Hey guys!" Said Haruhi as she went over to the eating trio.

All three stopped and waved at Haruhi, making Tamaki go more into an emo state.

"Haruhi! You have to try this!, it's amazing!" Said rose holding up a piece of her fish for Haruhi to try.

Haruhi took the piece and ate it and her smile grew bigger.

"Wow that's really tasty!" Said Haruhi.

Tamaki rushed back over to the table anime crying.

"Haruhi my darling how can you take food from them but not me?!" Asked Tamaki.

"It was just a piece senpai, no need to be so over dramatic." Said Haruhi.

Tamaki continued to anime cry and the twins came over.At this point, the once eating trio was getting confused as to the sudden attention.

"You liked the food right, you should come by the host club today, we have lots of food" Said hikaru.

"It's guaranteed to be as good!" Said kaoru.

Kyran look at rose and then Yukio.They gave him a pleading look and Kyran sighed.

"Fine, we'll be there"

*Time skippu to da end of school *

The trio opened the door to get bombarded by rose petals.

"Welcome!" Said the host club in unison.

Kyran Yukio and rose choose to sit with Haruhi and a few plates were set out for them.

They began to eat and had the same expression as they did before in the cafeteria.

The host clubs doors opened a few minutes later and the pitter patter of little feet could be heard .

"Oni~ chan!" Kaida cheered as she ran up to Kyran.

Kyran patted Kaida's head making her giggle.

"Hey lil pup, how was school?" Asked Kyran.

"Did you have fun?" Asked rose

Kaida nodded excitedly "yep! Yep! I even made a friend he stood up for me today!" Kaida cheered.

Kyran's eyebrow rose. "He?"

"Yea! His name is shield! I brought him with me! Shield c'mon out!" Kaida yelled to the open doors.

There stood shield . He nervously messed with his shirt as he walked up to Kaida.

Squeals were echoing through the room as the two kindergarteners stood next to each other.

"They're so cute!"

"He's like a little prince!"

"I bet she's his princess, they're so adorable!"

Kaida hugged shield making him blush.Kyran's eyes narrowed as he looked at the little boy.

"Uh oh" rose mumbled. Haruhi looked at her and asked what was wrong.

"If you haven't noticed already, Kyran is how should I put this......a lil bit....overprotective with Kaida." Said Yukio whispering so Kyran won't hear.

Shield stood still and looked up at the teen that towered above him.

"Kyran, this is shield!" Said Kaida standing next to Kyran now.

"Shield huh?" Said Kyran getting up from his seat to bend down to Sheila's level.

"N-Nice to meet you sir!" Said shield nervously.

"He saves me from the meany Zoe how hurt me the other day!" Said Kaida .

"Is this true?" Kyran Asked shield

Shield nodded "Y-Yes sir! I wasn't gonna let Zoe call her mean things, I wanted to help a-and be Kaida's friend!" Said shield as Kyran looked shield up and down.

Kaida ran up to shield hugging him.

" well? What do you say Kyran?" Said rose

Kyran didn't say anything at first, he just lifted his hand.sheild closed his eyes only to open them feeling his hair being ruffled.

He looked at Kyran surprise to see a tiny smirk on his face.

"I guess you're alright" Said Kyran

Shield could help but smiled hearing those words "T-Thank you sir!"

"Keep my sister safe at school okay? And enough with the sir, call me Kyran , okay kid?"  Said Kyran getting up.

Shield nodded "yes s- I mean Kyran!" Said shield stumbling over his words

The girls in the host club squealed at the scene before them .

"Kyran's So protective it's gorgeous!"

"Shield is so cute! I can't believe he's such a gentlemen at a young age!"

The host club stared in awe at what happened while kyoya smirked.

"I see what we have to do." Said kyoya .

'To earn the trust of the teens, we must first earn the trust of the child.....'
