Deep in the forest, three friends who had ran away together lived in an old wooden cabin. Tuesday, Stephon, and Merlin didn't regret anything. They lived their lives to the fullest, wrestling with the relentless rapids of the river and hunting down mighty beasts. During one of their adventures, they even found a  black German Shepard and a very handsome, ginger  tabby tomcat. The three teenagers nursed them back to health and made them their pets.

Life was great, but everyone knows that all great things must end. Stephon and Merlin both wanted Tuesday, and this caused problems. One night, a dumb argument broke into a vicious fight. Tuesday tried to stop them, but it was to late. Merlin was choking the life out of Stephon, so the young man used all his strength to grab a stick they used to spear fish and drove it into Merlin's chest and died. Tuesday, barely sixteen, was devastated. She contemplated the idea of returning home, but she might get blamed for her friends' deaths and her parents probably wouldn't take her back in. To top it off, Knight, the wolf-like dog, and Snaps, the ginger kitty, started to behave strangely.

Knight would growl at Snaps and swing his claws at him, something he never did before, and the cat would hiss fiercely and run to me. Knight would then saunter away.

Tuesday was lying in her bed two weeks after Merlin and Stephon's deaths, eyes bloodshot and staring soullessly at the bare ceiling when she heard loud thumping outside the door. She entered the main room to see a gruesome sight. Snaps was on the ground, throat slit and bleeding everywhere. Knight was standing over him with the scarlet liquid on his muzzle. He saw me, and his lips curved into a grin.

"Tuesday!" He barked.

Tuesday stepped back, eyes wide with horror and confusion. Her dog just spoke!

Knight started to wag his tail happily,"Now we get to stay together forever!"
