Cold and miserable, Chastity jogged away from the house filled with loud music and flashing lights. The crisp air made her tears feel like tiny ice cubes running down her cheeks, and the skimpy dress Carla had recommended made her feel stupid.

Chastity picked up the pace, but she still heard the footsteps. She's terrified now. Every time she speeds up, the person(or thing) behind her speeds up, and when she slows down her pursuer also slows down. As she sprints down the sidewalk like a maniac she ends up abandoning her mom's old high heels and her purse. In the distance, a familiar house comes into view.

Her parents were away because of business, so she had to dig for the spare key that was hidden in the soil of one of her mother's plants. The footsteps are loud and quick now, so she hastily rammed into the door and shoved the key into the keyhole.

A warm hand falls onto her shoulder, and she almost dies of fright. She spun around to stick the sharp end of the key at the psycho,"Leave me alone, you sicko!"

The keys fell to the ground. It was Kikiyo!

B-but that's impossible! My best friend is dead! She was killed by the serial killer!

My friend pulled me away from the door and started to speak. Her voice came and went with the wind,"Don't go in. The murderer sneaked in through a window you left open. Call the police, and stay safe."

With that, the greatest person I ever knew faded into nothingness.
