I woke up in the middle of the night freezing my ass off. I looked over to the window which was open, then I closed it. I then climbed back in the bed. As I snuggled up in my favorite blanket and closed my eyes, an outstretched arm rested on my waist. Now, this was odd considering I live alone.

I pushed the arm off of my waist and screamed. When the light was on, what stared back at me was a completely black figure. This thing had two white dot sized eyes. Sharp bones that stuck out of it's back in triangular form. Its mouth was like, how can I explain it, like a blurry spiral: spinning around and around. Light eliminated from the mouth as well. It's two arms were skinnier than the rest of its body and they looked burnt. Actually it looked like burnt ribs and bone.

This thing reached for me. It was saying.

"Come back to bed, Rachel. We're almost done."

This f*cking thing knew my name. I eased myself towards the door, hoping I can make a run for it without startling it.

The lights turned off. The thing then started to jump up and down on the bed.

Do you know how terrifying this was? Waking up to some stranger or inhuman creature in your bed? It was not a good feeling.
I placed my hand on the door nob, but it shocked me and...I fainted.

I woke up in my bed. It was still dark. As I sat up and the window let in a bit of light, I saw them. There was one...two...thr...six of these creatures crawling around on my floor and calling my name in moans.

"Rachel...Rachel...Rachel...Rachel."

It was like they were worshipping me. Then this huge one, with wider eyes than the rest, half white the other half red, stepped out of my closet with these long legs. It walked over the others with legs that were too long to be normal. It then stood at the side of my bed and that's when I realized I was paralyzed.

"Tomorrow. Not done." It said like the words couldn't fit in its mouth.

All of those things then crawled back in the closet one by one. The one with the wide eyes glanced at me once more before closing my closet door.

My paralysis ended. I looked around and everything was normal. When I tried to get up, I quickly rolled onto the floor. Something wasn't right. I shone the flashlight that I grabbed out of the dresser and shone it at my legs.

The only thing I viewed were my hips at first. My legs were gnawed and eaten off straight to the bones that were no longer attached to me, leaving but a few pieces of flesh. I let out a loud scream.
Suddenly the closet opened up and that thing with the red and white eyes winked at me. I swear it winked at me...
