Hello! This is Katie, it's been awhile since I've given any updates because school started and then I remembered what it's like to sincerely wish for death.

I shouldn't joke about these things, yet I still do. Oh boy.

But all that misery aside, I do have something cool I want to officially announce. I already sent a post out to followers, but I figured I'd get a bit more into details here. 

For a LONG time now, I've been working on a complete revision of chapter 1 of Fairy Tail: Next Generation. That means I didn't just edit it, I rewrote the chapter. Think like Final Fantasy 7 remake, the same story is there, but a lot more stuff is being explored, added, also it looks way better than the original because of progress in technology. 

So, similar to Final Fantasy, when I revised it, I took a section that was not terribly long and make it WAY LONGER. I am sorry about this, I don't think word count accounts for the quality, but this chapter was 5k words originally and now it's 17k. 

But that's fine, it's cool, whatever. 

That being said, I do hope you'll check it out, because like I said it is a complete revision meaning the story, while it has the same bones, is gonna be very different from what was originally there.

For those of you who don't like that I did this and now hate me for doing this, well, that's fine. I'll release a book that has the old chapters as well as I slowly republish Vol. I's chapters. 

Please note that this isn't my new priority, I'm still working on the new chapters quite diligently, this is just a background project that I've been working on periodically for a LONG time now. I had a tough time finding a way to rewrite this chapter because it was a mess...a big big mess.

I hope you'll check out the new revised chapter, and also please give feedback. Tell me if you like it more or less than the original and if I wasted hours upon hours of my time writing something no one wanted...
