Western Russia, Defiance Forces, JTF-14 (Warsaw), Frontline 86, 09/04/2034...

Progress by the Northern Armies of the Echoes of Defiance Forces has been well. However, Dealing with the Siberian Winter was hard as they had to build Railroads into the Deep Parts of Russia to take all of Russia... Along with feeding the Troops and Specialists, and keeping them somewhat warm...

Progress has staggered... They also have to deal with Harbinger's Skirmishers and Great Horde assaults... While the Echoes of Defiance Forces have an Abundance of Materials, thanks to them recycling Destroyed Vehicles and Equipment... Food wise...

"Fuck, man... I'm starving..." CR Militia 1 told Steel Legionnaire 1.

"Quit crying about it. I'm fucking starving too..." Steel Legionnaire 1 told the CR Militia 1. "Just be glad that the Global Rationing and the Home Front is doing well."

"At least we got some food than none at all..." Steel Legionaire 2 added.

"And Cigarettes, Alcohol, Coffee, Tea... Don't forget those." Another CR Militia told the rest.

"Certainly... Good thing prayer is not out of the list." An NPX Combat Engineer agreed.

The Echoes of Defiance were able to prevent Mass Mutiny because they managed to Ration their much-needed food and important resources, like fuel or even Electronics.

Currently, the 2nd Company of the 6th Steel Chapter (Stormcloaks) of the 2nd Legion, and the 636th Crimson Conscript Regiment are on Defensive Operations, to defend the Engineers of the 8th Company of the 6th Steel Chapter and the 7th Engineering Company of the NPX.

"You can't be serious?! The Fucking Harbingers cut off our supply lines!?" NPX Lieutenant in anger.

"Sir... 1st Company of the 6th Chapter is fighting off the Skirmishers. They've managed to repel the Traitors, but they've also destroyed some of our rations... They wanted us to convert out of hunger..." Steel Legionnaire Scout reported.

"Fuck... Our men are going to starve..." NPX Lieutenant cursed... Their luck is not on their side...

CR Commissar beside him sighed and agreed. "Certainly, no good soldier can fight without food in their stomach..." As he's just as hungry as everyone else... "Beside... I'm about to lose it, and fall to cannibalism..."

Now they'll have to pull back and postpone the Operation. Which could lead to delays... That they do not want.

"Lieutenant!" An NPX Ranger arrived, gaining the attention of the CR Commissar and Steel Legion's Chapter Captain.

"Legion Captain Ezra has sent a Supply Airship (Modern Blimp) to our Location! We won't be going hungry!"

"What!?" The CR Commissar was shocked, thinking the Scout was seeing things...

But when the Scout pointed at the location... And there's indeed a Cargo Airship, with the Defiance Insignia...

Looks like their bad luck has finally turned around...

"Alhamdulillah!!! (Praise be Allah!!!)" CR 636th Illregulars cheered as if their prayers to Allah had been heard.

"Praise be the Lord!!!" Christian Soldiers of the Steel Legion cheer along with some NPX Combat Engineers, that Jesus has heard their prayers.

With other Religious Soldiers cheering for the arrival of their needed food... With their thanks to god...

"Finally! Food!!!" Non-religious soldiers cheered, finally, something that could calm their growling stomachs... Even for just a day...

"Oh thank god...! I was going to lose my mind and they've managed to get us supplies..." CR Commissar sighed in relief...

"Agreed. Even when we all are from different Religions and Nations..." The Chapter Captain responds. "We are all united in a common struggle."

"Hmph... I may not agree with your ideals... But, I agree. Perhaps, this war also creates something positive."

"We all suffer. Together."

The CR Commissar begins to maintain order... And just as he's about to begin...

"Alright men, settle-!"

An energy arrow suddenly pierced his head and he fell dead, the CF Militia immediately went into a panic, as the Steel Legion and NPX Forces immediately took defensive positions.

"They're here!!!" Steel Legionnaire 2 yelled.

"To positions, men! The Traitors are here! Open fire!" NPX Lieutenant yelled.

The Defiance Forces of JTF Warsaw immediately opened fire at the oncoming Hollowed Veil Forces. Mass Undead Soldiers of the Great Horde, with the Harbingers firing their Energy Bows, Bolt Actions, and Ballistas. At the Airship and the Defiance Forces.

The Airship immediately opened fire with their Mounted HMGs and Magnetic Kinetic Autocannons against the attacking Traitor Forces.

Mortar Teams of the Steel Legion counter-fired at the Ballistas, while the Infantry and Combat Engineers of the Joint Task Force Warsaw returned fire. As the Chaplins of the Defiance Forces make sure the Dead are staying dead. As the Snipers are location their Hivemind's Node.

The Harbingers Mounted Samurais and Morocyclist Skirmishers, also attacked, as the HMG and LMG of the Joint Forces immediately fired at the Skirmishers and Undead Soldiers. Some with Grenade Launchers fired at the horde to thin them out.

As the Scout Cars of the Defiance Forces also went to work thinning the horde and mowing down the Skirmishers...

But it's not all Victory Day for the Defiance Forces, as the Honkai Beasts are also attacking. And while the Attack Helis and Munition Drones weakened them... they still managed to break through the Defensive Lines, forcing the Defiance Forces to use Portable Anti-Tank Weapons.

Even Satchel Charges were used to take down the Honkai Beasts... As the Horde was about to get close... The Snipers took out the Undead Scions... Causing the Horde to start dropping dead.

Without their Psychic Link to the Undead Marshal... A Corpse is back to being lifeless... Which allowed the Defiance Forces to counterattack...

But it was too late, the Retainers charged through the breach that the Honkais had made, and started to take out the defenders. As the Airship is now focused on the Harbingers...

... and while the Harbingers retreated once the Horde was falling to 40% of their numbers, the Casulties for the Defiance Forces was just as bad...

"Goodness, my dear. Is it important?" Jeanette followed suit.

"Yes! This is an important matter for him. He must know of this!" Asra responded as the Egyptian Pollyanna was bringing the Good News, as Jeanette with her Bad News.

"Mon Dieu... I hope so..." Jeanette.

Meanwhile...

"Jeez, Asra seems to be in a very good mood today..." Air Marshal Alexis remarked to Admiral Reinhardt.

"Ja. (Yes.) Vhatever zhat iz. It better be good news. Hate to be zhe Harbingers of Bad News." Reinhardt, with his German Accents.

"Same here, Chap. By the way, it appears my Tea Rations have arrived. I'll talk to you later." Alexis before he left.

"Same, I'll be as zhe Port." Reinhardt responded and went back to managing the NPX's Navy.

Kevin has been overworked and now his head is sleeping on the table, again. There's not a lot of paperwork left... But...

"Damnit, Commander... At least let us bear some of the responsibilities..." Asra with a sigh and she gently shakes him to wake up...

"My dear, let me do it, I know my ways.~" Jeanette asked.

"Okay, Ma'am."

Jeanette just kissed on his lips and Kevin...

Only to realize that's Jeanette, who's giggling a bit, while Asra is just glad that he's awake.

"Oh, Of course, my love." Jeanette then reported. "The Russian Front and African Front has been delayed and suffered casualties by Skirmishing Attacks by the Hollowed Veil Forces, along with growing tensions by the Protectorate Agitators in Core Nations."

"Figures... How's the Agents are faring."

Jeanette smiled and said... "As expected of the best of the best of the French!~"

In other words, the DGSE did so well, that even a Region, full of Protectorate Departments in India and South Africa suffered a Massive Police Crackdown and was Purged. Allowing the Defiance Forces to gain influence in there. But the Hollowed Veil won't back down easily.

"And the good news, Asra?" Kevin asked.

Which Asra nodded and said...

"We've managed to establish contact, and it's not a New Faction!"

"... What do you mean?"

"We have received contact from another Dimension! Azur Lane, Administration, Rhode Island, Schicksal, and even Griffin and Kryuger have established contact to help us defeat the Invaders!"

"..."

Kevin then looked at Jeanette, and she simply nodded...

"As outrageous as it is... Asra doesn't seem to be lying. Plus, she's pretty happy, which means she wouldn't lie."

... He just needs more proof, but at least he knows that she's not lying...

"... When?" Kevin asked...

"In 6 Hours, UTC... +2."

"Which means only 30 minutes left." Kevin responded. "Alright. I'll change up. Contact the rest of the High Command. To head to the Meeting Room."

"Yes, Commander!" Asra saluted and left.

"As your wish, my love.~" Jeanette blew a kiss and left.

After they both left... Kevin looked up and said...

"Thank you." As if he's thanking god, and then went to change up.

Finally... Help from others. That they wanted to save them. Perhaps... Maybe, just maybe... humanity now has a chance.
