Covered in dirt, and my own blood I watch their gray ships fly away in retreat. Rounded in the back, pointing toward the fronts, they go the opposite direction of where we sit. An entire fleet.

Monsters. They did this. Because of them, so many had to die.
They killed them.

White. Taking over the skies, all the way to the ground. Disintegrating all in its path. No, no, no! We're doomed. That's why the creatures left. It suddenly makes sense.

"Come on! We gotta get out of here, now!" I yell at Katherine as I stand up reaching my hand out to her.

She's completely dumbfounded. The same look on my Face takes over hers.

"Let's go! Come-on!" I shout pulling her up of the ground.
