It was the time of evening, there was a complete silence in the forest area. A car was standing at the side of the road and Avni and Neil were standing near it. Neil was shockingly looking at the man who was standing at a good distance and he was standing by pointing a gun at Avni. Avni was confused. The man shoots.

Neil: Avniii…

Neil captured Avni in his arms. His one hand was on Avni’s waist and the second hand was on Avni’s head. Neil completely covered Avni and sat down with her. The bullet missed. The man was shocked. Neil turned his face and Avni opened her eyes. Neil saw the man and Avni followed his gaze. She was shocked to see the man. Neil took out his gun from under his shirt and he shoots at the man who got in the car in the passenger seat and the bullet hit the car’s door. Avni squeezed her eyes and kept her hand on her ears. Neil got up and he shoots at the car. The man turned the car and ran away. Neil tried to hit the tire of the car but the car was away and they ran from there.

Neil: shit.

Neil was panting. Neil turned to Avni and he went to her. Neil sat on his feet and he held Avni’s arms. The gun was in Neil’s hand.

Neil: Avni.

Avni looked at Neil. Neil panicked.

Neil said while checking Avni: you are fine, han? You are ok? Tumhe kahin lagi to nahi na, Hmm? Tum theek ho na?

Avni nodded and Neil hugged Avni. Neil was shivering because of fear of losing Avni. Neil broke the hug and he held Avni’s arm.

Neil: Avni, get up, we have to go from here as soon as possible.

Avni was looking at him.

Neil: come on, get up fast.

Neil helped Avni to get up. First, Neil made Avni sit in the car then he came to the driving seat and he got in the car. Neil turned the car and they drove from there.

On the other side, the sun was all set to go down but still, it was shining on the one side of the Mehta house. Inside the house, the Khanna family and the Mehta family were standing in the living area. Everyone was tense. They heard the sound of the car.

Shweta: lagta hai woh log agaye.

Neela maa was about to go.

Ashish: Neela, wait.

Neela maa looked at Ashish and she was about to say but Ashish signed her relax. Neela maa was worried and she was rubbing her hands. She was desperate to see Avni.

Avni and Neil came. Avni was lost and Neil was looking down. He was still under the effect of the incident. Avni saw her mother and she got emotional. Today, Avni saw death in front of her. Everyone came to Avneil and Avni saw them. Neil also saw them and then he looked down.

Neela maa caught Avni’s arms and she was crying then she hugged Avni. Neela maa cried and Avni also got emotional but she smiled.  Neil saw them and then he lowered his gaze.

Avni rubbed the back of her mother.

Avni: mamma, relax, I am fine.

Everyone got emotional. Neela maa broke the hug and she cupped Avni’s face.

Nm: you are fine, right?

Avni nodded and she cupped the face of her mother.

Avni: I am absolutely fine. Relax.

Avni looked at Ashish who was looking at her with teary eyes. Ashish hugged Avni and captured her in his arms. Avni smiled with teary eyes. Everyone met her. Neil was looking at Avni.

Prakash: lekin yeh kar kon sakta hai?

Neil: hoga mera koi dushman jisay yeh pata chal gaya hoga ke Avni meri fiancé hai aur mujhe pressurize karne ke liye yeh ghatiya harkat ki hogi.

Neela maa was about to say.

Neil: isi liye, isi liye, main shadi ke naam se bhi bhagta tha.

Avni was shocked and hurt too.

Neil: Main nahi chahta tha ke meri waja se kisi aur ki jaan ko khatra ho yaa kisi aur ki life spoil ho.

Shweta: Tillu, tu…

Neil: Mujhe is alliance ke liye han hi nahi karni chahiye thi.

Avni was shocked. Everyone was shocked and they looked at Avni who was looking at Neil with hurtful eyes.

Neil: humain yeh engagement karni hi nahi chahiye thi.

Avni was shocked.

Neil: Na hum engagement karte aur na hi aaj Avni ki jaan ko khatra hota.

Avni and Neil were shocked.

Neil: what?

Neela maa nodded. She passed a chit to Neil.

Nm: yeh dekho.

Neil took the chit from Neela maa and opened it. Avni also looked at the chit.

Neil reads: Ashish Mehta, tumhari waja se maine bohat kuch saha hai ab tumhari bari... Tumhari jaan tumhari beti Avni main basti hai na. To ab main tumhari jaan ko hi tum se cheen lunga. Aaj tumhari jaan ghar se nikli to hai lekin wapis zinda nahi ayegi.

Neil thinks. Avni looked at Neil.

Neil: Kya hai yeh? Kis ne bhejha hai?

Nm: pata nahi ek courier wala aya tha woh de kar gaya.

Neil thinks.

Avni: isi liye jab aap ne mujhe call kiya to aap mujhe jaldi se ghar aane ka keh rahi thi.

Neil: Dad, aap ne is liye mujhe call kiya tha?

Prakash: Han, lekin jo tu ne bataya us ne to humare pairon tale zameen hi nikal di thi.

Neil thinks and he looked at Ashish.

Neil: Papa, aap ki kisi se dushmani?

Ashish: ase to kisi se zahiri dushmani nahi hai professional rivalry ho sakti hai.

Neil nodded while looking down.

Neil: possible.

Neil sighed.

Neil: anyways. Abhi ke liye to sab theek hai main commissioner sir se baat kar ke ghar ki security barwah deta hun aur Avni ke liye bhi security guards arrange karta hun.

Avni: Us ki koi zarorat nahi hai.

Neil and others were shocked. Avni was looking down.

Avni: Tum jao yahan se.

Neil was shocked. Neil was about to say.

Avni: sahi kaha tum ne humain is alliance ko khatam kar dena chahiye.

Neil was shocked. Now, Neil and others understood that Avni is reacting to Neil's statement.

Avni: mere sath rahoge to tumhari jaan ko bhi khatra ho sakta hai so better yahi hoga ke hum yeh rishta hi khatam kar den.

Neil wanted to say something.

Avni: excuse me.

Avni goes from there to her room. Everyone was looking at her. Neil felt bad and he looked at his family and everyone was giving him an angry or disappointed look. Neil looked down.

On the other side, Avni came to her room and she closed the door. Avni turned and came forward. Avni's eyes were teary and she was really very hurt. Avni joined her hand.

Avni was shocked.

Avni cried to remember that.

Everyone was present in the living area except Avni. Neil was looking down.

Shweta: what is this, Tillu?

Neil looked at Shweta then again he looked down.

Neil looked at Shweta and Prakash while saying: Main Avni ko dekhta hun.

Nm: Abhi Avni bohat hurt hai woh kisi ki nahi sunegi abhi.

Neil was looking at her.

Nm: Main maa hun us ki main janti hun usay.

Neil thinks.

Shweta: Tillu, kya kiya tu ne? Dimagh aur zuban ke bich main ek filter hota hai jo unfortunately tere pass hai hi nahi.

Bebe: Maa per jo gaya hai.

Shweta: Bebe, aap hamesha mujhe...

Neil got angry.

Prakash: Shweta...

Shweta was about to say but Prakash showed her his hand and he signed her relax. Shweta looked away and Neil looked down in anger.

Prakash: Bebe, kya aap bhi.

Bebe was also in anger. Prakash looked at Neil.

Prakash: Neil, tu jaa Avni ke pass.

Neil nodded. Neil looked at his mother and grandmother then he looked down. Neil goes.

Neil came to Avni's room and he found the door is closed. Neil gulped and he knocked at the door. The door opened. Neil looked at it and then he opened the door completely by holding the handles of the door. Neil looked around while holding the shuts and he saw Avni standing near the bed. Neil came forward to Avni and Avni knew that Neil had come. Neil cleared his throat and Avni didn't react to it. Her eyes were teary.

Neil: Avni.

Avni: tum yahan kya kar rahe ho, Neil? Tumhe yahan nahi aana chahiye the.

Neil came forward.

Neil: Avni, I...

Avni turned and she said while going away: jao yahan se Neil.

Avni: Mujhe is waqt koi baat nahi karni tum se.

Neil: Avni. Yaar, I am sorry.

Avni saw the cushion on the couch and she goes there. Avni threw a cushion on Neil.

Neil: Avni.

Avni threw two more cushions and Neil laughed but then he winced by keeping his hand on his eye.

Neil: ouch... Aah.

Avni panicked.

Avni: Neil.

Neil goes to the bed and he sat there. Avni came to Neil and she kept her hand on Neil's shoulder.

Avni: Neil? Kahan laga?

Avni cupped Neil's face with one hand.

Avni: dekhao mujhe.

Avni took away Neil's hand and she saw he is fine. Avni frowned and Neil suppressed his lips.

Avni: Tum theek ho?

Neil laughed.

Avni: Means, you tricked me.

Neil nodded while laughing.

Avni: Yeh trick to mamma karti hain to tumhe... Mamma ne batai yeh trick?

Neil nodded while suppressing his lips and then he smiled. Avni got up and she moved away from him. Neil was looking at her. Neil got up and he goes to her.

Neil: Avni, yaar, I am sorry. Main dara gaya tha, tense tha is liye tension main maine woh sab keh diya. I didn't mean that  Mujhe fikar hai tumhari. Understand yaar.

Avni was in anger now and hurt too. Avni turned to Neil.

Avni: Aur ab main tension main hun, main dari hoi hun. Main nahi chahti ke tumhari jaan ko meri waja se koi khatra ho so I think ke humain yeh rishta khatam kar dena chahiye. Understand, Neil.

Neil understood that he hurt her at an extreme level.

Their eyes locked and Avni broke it. She looked away. Neil wanted to cup Avni's face.

Neil: Avni...

Avni jerked away Neil's hand and Avni shouted: Neil, please leave.

Neil flinched. He had never seen Avni in this much anger. Avni lost her temper.

Everyone heard her in the living area. Neela maa panicked. She held Ashish's arm who side-hugged her.

Avnk was looking here and there. Avni goes to bed and Neil was looking at her. Avni threw cushions at Neil while saying, go. Go away, go from here.

Neil was trying to save him.

Neil: Avni. Avni, relax.

In the living area:

Nm: Ashish.

Ashish: Relax, Neil is there to handle her.

Everyone got worried.

In Avni's room:

Avni threw cushions then she threw pillows at Neil.

Neil: Ok, ok, I am going.

Avni was panting: go.

Neil: You just relax, I am going. Calm down.

Avni shouts: Leave.

Neil: ok, ok.

Neil said while taking steps back: I am going. I am going.

Neil: relax.

Neil took steps back. Neil shuts the door and Avni threw the duvet, and bedsheet and then she sat on the bed. She caught her head and huffed. Avni was panting.

Neil came downstairs and everyone was looking at him. Neil looked at them and then he bowed his head.

Nm: Neil?

Neil looked at her and then he lowered his gaze while suppressing his lips. Neil shook his head.

Nm: I told you.

Neil looked at Neela maa.

Nm: Avni jaldi hurt nahi hoti. Jaldi gussa bhi nahi hoti lekin jab hoti hai to phir usay manana next to impossible hai.

Neil was looking at her then he thinks. Neil realized that this time he had done a big blunder.
