It was the time of the day, the weather was quite good and the birds and fields were enjoying it but the day was not good for the Khanna house because Neil did not say yes to meet Avni and he is planning to go back home.

Prakash and Shweta were standing with the boys in the room.

Ali: what?

Shweta: Yes. Now, only you trio can do anything. Please, usay jane se rok lo warna Bee Ji bohat gussa ho jaengi. Un ki aur Dadi ki friendship salon purani hai. Agar Neil ase chala gaya to sab khatam ho jaega.

Vidyut: aap fikar mat karen, Aunty. Neil ko hum sambhal lenge.

Ali: yes, woh na sirf yahan roke ga balke woh us larki se milne ke liye bhi mane ga.

DD: lekin sir ji to us kal wali larki ko like karte hain na?

Prakash and Shweta were shocked. Ali palmed his head and Vidyut grinned his teeth. DD got frightened.

Shweta: kya?

The boys looked at her.

Vidyut: ku, kuch nahi, aun...

Shweta warned him: jhot nahi. To bol, Ali.

Ali looked at Vidyut who was also looking at him. They looked at Shweta and Prakash.

Ali: ab. woh. aunty... ab sach kya hai yeh to hum bhi nahi jante lekin Neil us larki ko hi dekhe ja raha tha jo woh kabhi nahi karta.

Shweta: yeh to hai mera Tillu asa kabhi nahi karta.

The boys nodded.

Shweta looked at Prakash.

Shweta: kahin hum koi galti to nahi kar rahe?

Prakash thinks.

Prakash: soch smajh kar kadam uthana hoga hum Neil ko force nahi kar sakte.

Shweta: to ab?

Prakash: filhal, Neil, us se mil to le phir dekhte hain. Main Neil se baat karunga usay ase hi kisi rishte main bandh nahi sakte.

Shweta nodded.

Vidyut: don't worry, Uncle. Hum, Neil se baat karte hain kya pata woh apni feelings hi zahir kar de humare samne.

Shweta: han, beta, baat karo tum log.

Vidyut: Ji.

Vidyut thinks.

Vidyut: ab, aunty, aap ke pass us larki ki picture hai?

Shweta: hai to sahi, beta lekin maine pata nahi kahan rakh di hai.

Vidyut made an o face.

Ali: waise naam kya hai us girl ka?

Shweta: aa, Avni.

Ali and Vidyut nodded. DD was surprised to hear the name.

DD: Avni?

Everyone was confused.

Shweta: yeah, why, what happened?

DD: nahi, kuch nahi. Yeh naam kuch suna, suna sa lag raha hai.

Shweta frowned.

Shweta: Kahan?

Ali: aunty, ase choriye. Yeh to kuch bhi bolta hai.

DD made a face.

Ali: aap Neil ko hum per chor dijiye.

Shweta and Prakash smiled. Vidyut and Ali looked at each other.

Shweta was talking on the phone and was passing by the corridor.

Shweta: Nahi, Neela Ji, Neil abhi tak nahi mana.

Neela maa got tensed. She was standing near the rail in the small living area upstairs.

Nm: acha?

Shweta: Avni?

Nm: Ji, us se maine baat kar li hai bohat mushkil se mani hai. Pura ghar sar per utha liya tha.

Neela maa looked at Avni who was sitting on the swing. Avni rolled her eyes. She looked at her phone.

Shweta smiled.

Shweta: lagta hai bohat gussay wali hai.

Neela maa smiled.

Nm: ji bus kabhi kabhi...

Shweta: Acha, Neil bhi bohat gussa karta hai Avni hi usay sambhal sakti hai.

They laughed.

Nm: acha, ab rakhti hun. Bye.

Shweta: Ji, Bye.

Neela maa cuts the call and thinks. Ashish came and saw her lost.

Ashish: what happened?

Nm: Neil refused to meet Avni.

Ashish was shocked. Avni was sitting on the swing and she was using her phone. Avni heard them.

Avni: Thank God.

Neela maa made a face.

Avni: good decision. I liked it.

Nm: woh log baat kar rahe hain us se.

Avni: My bad.

Avni's parents smiled. Neela maa thinks.

Nm: lekin agar woh nahi mana to...

Avni: to treat meri tarf se. Paka.

Her parents looked at her. Avni closed her eyes and prayed.

Avni: Please, God, woh na mane, please, please.

Avni was praying but she doesn't know that the paths are already united.

Neela maa made a face and Ashish smiled. Avni sighed by looking up and then she smiled to see her parents.

On the other side, Neil was talking on the phone and he picked up his jeans from the bed: yeah, I want a ticket to Mumbai.

Neil kept the jeans in the bag and heard the other side. Neil talked to them.

Neil: Thank you, I will reach on time.

Neil cut the call and starts keeping his clothes in the bag. His friends peeped into his room and then they looked at each other. They nodded and stood. They went to Neil's room.

Vidyut: hi bro.

Neil looked at him and then he resumed his work...

Ali: kya kar raha hai, Neil?

Neil kept the shirt in the bag.

Neil: apni yeh ghatiya acting band karo. I know, Mom, dad ne bhejha hai tum logon ko baat karne ke liye.

Vidyut, Ali, and DD were shocked.

Neil: Listen, I don't want to listen about it. So, please.

Neil was doing his work and his friends looked at each other.

Vidyut: agar, uncle, aunty keh rahe hain to maan jaa na.

No reply.

Ali: Neil, akhir milne main problem kya hai?

No reaction. Ali thinks.

Ali: kahin woh kal wali larki to nahi?

Neil was keeping the shirt in the bag and he stopped. Avni's face came in front of his eyes and Neil felt hurt. He resumed his work.

Vidyut: Neil, hum tujhse baat kar rahe hain.

No answer. Neil was busy in his work. Ali got angry and he went to Neil.

Vidyut: Ali.

Ali closed the suitcase. Neil stood properly and he looked away.

Ali: baat kar hum se.

Neil sat on the bed hurriedly. Ali was looking at him.

Later, Neil was sitting on the bed and his friends were sitting on the couch.

Vidyut: Neil, baat kya hai jab tak tu humain batae ga nahi hum kaise kuch kar paenge.

Neil: baat yeh hai ke main kisi larki se nahi milna chahta.

Ali: lekin kyun? Waja?

Neil: kyun ke main abhi kisi  relationship ke liye ready nahi hun.

Ali: Sirf yahi waja hai? Yaa phir woh kal wali larki...

Neil wanted to deny but his heart locked his mouth and Neil looked away.

Vidyut: ab, is ka kya matlab nikalen hum?

Neil looked at his joined fingers.

Vidyut: hum friends hain tere hum se to share kar.

Neil got frustrated because he is running from the truth. The truth is that he loves Avni.

Neil: I don't know, yaar, main us larki ko mere dimagh se nahi nikal paa raha. Yeh love hai yah attraction, yeh mujhe nahi pata. Woh mere dil o dimagh per cha gai hai.

Vidyut and Ali smiled.

Vidyut: you are in love, hero.

Neil was shocked.

Ali: fell in love at first side.

Neil looked at him.

Neil: kuch bhi mat bol.

Neil's friends smiled. DD was in deep thought.

Vidyut: yeh sab to bad main dekh lenge. Abhi tu us larki se milne ki tiyari kar jis se Bee ji chahti hain ke tu mil.

Neil was shocked.

Neil: have you lost your mind? Main aur us larki se milon? No chance. Main ja raha hun kal and that's final.

Neil looked away.

Vidyut: tu larki se mil kar mana kar de bus, simple.

Neil: simple. Kya simple, aaj keh rahe hain mil lo kal ko shadi ke liye force karenge.

Ali: jab tu kal larki reject kar dega to phir to baat hi khatam hoi na.

Vidyut: aur soch agar tu kal chala gaya to tu kal wali larki se dubara kaise mil paega.

Neil thinks.

Vidyut: us se milne ke liye tujhe yahan rehna parega.

All this time, DD was lost in his world. Suddenly, DD shouted: yaad agaya, yaad agaya.

Neil and others flinched. Neil kept his hand on his heart. DD looked at them excitedly.

Ali: kya yaad agaya?

DD: larki ka naam kahan suna tha woh yaad agaya.

The trio was shocked. Neil kept his hand on his eyes and ran his hand to his mouth and he cupped his mouth while looking at DD.

DD: Sir, Avni.

Neil frowned.

DD: is larki ka naam bhi Avni hai kahin yeh wahi Avni to nahi.

Neil: konsi Avni aur yahan kon Avni hai?

DD: jis se aap ke rishte ki baat chal rahi hai woh Avni hai. Kahin yeh wohi Avni to nahi hai jis ne un gundo ki dhulai ki thi?

Neil thinks.

DD: jis ne larki ko bachaya tha.

Neil remember that and he smiled.

DD: kahin yeh wahi to nahi?

Neil: DD, woh yahan kaise ho sakti hai?

DD: kyun nahi ho sakti. Hum bhi to Mumbai se aaye hain to woh kyun nahi ho sakti.

Ali: point. Avni aur un ki family bhi Mumbai se aaye hain.

Neil thinks.

Neil: jitna violence aaj us ne dikhaya hai na to yeh woh ho bhi sakti hai.

Neil thinks and others smiled.

Ali: Avni Bhabhi to wonder woman niklin.

Neil got angry. He took the cushion and threw it at Ali.

Neil: shut up.

Everyone smiled except Neil.

Vidyut: to tu bhabhi se milne ke liye ready hai?

Neil glared at him. Ali and Vidyut did hifi. Neil threw the cushions at them back to back and they were laughing then Neil threw the pillows at them. Neil was panting and he looked away. His friends were laughing. Neil glared at them and then he goes by leaving them laughing behind.

Neil came to the terrace and there was a small room. Neil goes there and he sat on the bed which they called charpai. Neil took out his phone and he saw Avni's picture. Neil smiled.

Neil: hey. Sorry, mere friends pagal hain kuch bhi bolte hain. Un ki baton per dihan mat dena.

Neil smiled.

Neil: lekin ek baat to sahi kahi unho ne ke mere dil main kuch to hai tumhare liye lekin woh kya hai yeh mujhe bhi nahi pata.

Neil was looking at the picture.

Neil: na jane phir kab tum se mil paunga. I really want to meet you.

Neil smiled and caressed the picture softly. Neil thinks and he saw the time on the phone. Neil thinks and he got up. Neil hurriedly goes from there. Neil came out of the home and looked here and there for Avni and then Neil fastly goes from there. Neil came to the fields while running but Avni and her friends were not there. Neil felt disappointed. Neil looked down then he looked here and there with a frown because of the sun. Neil got upset. He saw time in his watch and then he looked here and there.

Later, the Mehta family was sitting in the living area and Avni was engrossed in her laptop. Neela maa's phone rang. She picked up her phone. Neela maa alerts.

Nm: Shweta ji.

Avni: I wish, na karne ke liye call ki ho.

Nm: ssshhhhh.

Neela maa picked up her call and she kept it on speaker.

Nm: Hello.

Shweta maa was smiling and was happy.

Shweta: Hello, Neela Ji, Neil Avni se milne ke liye maan gaya hai.

Everyone got happy and Avni made a crying face.

Avni whispered by looking up: why, God, why? Exam main ache marks aaen us ke bad yeh pehli cheeze thi jo maine mangi thi aap se woh bhi nahi do.

Avni heard Shweta and she looked at the phone.

Shweta: Hum kal arahe hain. Mujhe to yakeen hi nahi araha.

Avni: mujhe bhi.

Neela maa and Dayawanti Mehta glared at her. Avni made an irritated face.

Shweta: acha, ab main rakhti hun bohat kaam hai. Kal milte hain.

Nm: Ji, ji, humain intazar rahe ga.

Avni: mujhe nahi.

Dayawanti: ssshhhhh...

Avni looked at her with what expressions.

Neela maa cuts the call.

Nm: suna aap logon nahi.

Avni: No, I am deaf. Kya kaha unho ne, woh log nahi arahe na?

Neela maa made a face.

Nm: Avni.

Neela maa looked at Dayawanti Mehta.

Nm: Maa, humain bhi to tiyariyan karni hogi na?

Avni suppressed her lips angrily and she kept her laptop at the side.

Avni: I hate your phone. I wish, it breaks.

Neela maa was stunned. Avni got up and she goes. The Mehta family smiled.

Nm: what?

Bari Dadi: kya kaha is ne?

Dayawanti Mehta: kuch nahi sharma gai.

BD: Sharma gai ya gussa ho gai. Main tujhe pagal dekhti hun.

Dayawanti Mehta looked down.

It was the time of the night, Avni and Neil were sitting on the bed and both were thinking about each other.

Avni: pata nahi kaisa hoga woh? ACP hai, akru to zaror hoga. Saru bhi ho sakta hai. Ab tujhe movies wala dashing ACP milne se raha yeh to koi tondo hoga.

Avni sighed.

On the other side, Neil was smiling by looking at the picture of Avni.

Neil: Aaj pura din tum se nahi mil paya na jane kab mil paenge.

Neil sighed.

Neil: kya kismat hai meri jis se milna chahta hun woh mil nahi rahi aur jis se bhag raha tha kal us se milne jana hai.

Neil looked at the photo.

Neil: but, you don't worry. I am only yours.

Neil smiled and then he realized what he said.

Neil: Neil, ho kya gaya hai tujhe. Tu to bilkul Roadside Romeo ki tarha behave kar raha hai.

Neil smiled and he switched off the phone.

Neil: chal, Neil, so ja kal us psycho se milne jana hai.

Neil sighed.

They both were thinking about each other but the thoughts were not so good.
