Antara's family's pov

19th march 1991

Today is the day when finally our new member of the family will be born. The 7th daughter of the 7th daughter.

Finally the goal of our family from centuries will be fulfilled.

And we name her Antara.

5 years later 19th march 1996

Today is the day its supposed to happen. The day when all our efforts will give us the result we wanted. The day Antara's gift will activate.
But it didn't. Why? We don't know. Maybe there's something we forgot. But we will keep trying till we get our desired result.

2 years later 19th march 1998

Today is Antara's 7th birthday. We did everything possible to activate her gift but it doesn't work. We think there's something wrong with her. Maybe she is not capable of such a gift. And if that is true then she is no use to us. Yesterday was the last day for her gift to activate but it didn't which means we have no hope left. She is no use to us so we won't keep her anymore.

19th march 1998 7:30 pm.

Antara's pov

Its 7:30 pm right now. People will start coming in a while and the party will start at 8:00 pm. I am so excited.
My family is coming here...... maybe to wish me or give me a gift.
"Hey mom! Hey dad!"
Why do they have a cold expression? As if they are angry and disappointed in me. Did i do something wrong?
"Antara." The same cold tone. What did i do?
"Is there anything wrong ma?"
"Oh yes. A lot of things are wrong. One of them is you." What did i do? Now they are scaring me.
"What happened ma?"
"You want to know what happened ? You happened. "
What? What do they me mean I happened?
"We expected so much from you. And what did you do? You disappointed us. All of us. You can't do a single simple thing. You are a disappointment. We disown you."  Wait what? No. This can't be happening. What did i do? Am i crying? Yeah i am crying. But how did i disappoint them?
"What? How did i disappoint you? What do you mean?"
"You couldn't do what we wanted you to do. What you were supposed to do. You disappointed us. So we disown you. You can't live here if you can't do what you are supposed to."  No. They are joking right? All my doubts were over when my oldest sister Spruha dragged me out of the house. In the middle of the night. When it was heavily raining.

That was the moment i went cold. The moment my trust was broken by the people closest to me. The moment i was broken. The moment i decided not to trust anyone. The moment i grew up. The moment i started losing my emotions. The moment everything went downhill.

Author's note

Hey lovlies! So this was the prologue of the book. Idk what to write so i put a part of Antara's childhood. Now i know there are a lot of questions but they will be answered as the story moves on. And as i said in the previous updates there will be at least 1 or 2 chapters for youtube vid and live so if u wanna be included in it just drop ur comment here or dm me.(till them i will use random names for comments)
