It has been 2 hours since Siddharth was discharged.. 2 days earlier then required.. why? Because that man child kept whining about the tasteless food.. medicine smell and uncomfortable bed..
So the hospital staff got fed up of him and discharged him.
It was already close to a month since he came back out of his coma.
By now all the bruises were almost healed.. and his broken bones were back in place and healing on a very great speed.
That is why the doctors did not even keep him a day extra.. as soon as the reports were normal he was discharged.
The entire hospital staff sighed in relief when he was discharged

Throughout his stay in the hospital Shehnaaz never left his side.. she took care of him like a mother takes care of her baby.. she was the only one who was unfazed with his tantrums..

The only time Siddharth was not grumpy was when the kids were around him.. they visited him everyday after school..
Yes! Zoro and Zara were no more home schooled.. they both were now going to the best school in Mumbai.

On the day of discharge all his friends had come to receive him
Kushal.. Shefali.. Asim and Jasmine..

After Shehnaaz told Siddharth the truth about the kidnapping.. Siddharth took almost a week to talk to Asim..
He was very pissed with him for putting Shehnaaz in danger..
But both the friends sorted out everything.. and now they are back to normal.

While leaving the hospital Siddharth made sure that he goes home with the boys and not Shehnaaz.. he had something very special planned for his "family" which they cannot know.

Shehnaaz was initially confused that how he did not want to come with her..
Because till yesterday he did not even let anyone else change his clothes.. he did not even take medicines from anyone except her..
But Siddharth convinced her saying that he wants to buy some surprise for the kids and only she can distract them..
Shehnaaz was not convinced fully but somehow Siddharth managed to send her home with Jasmine and Shefali.

As soon as Shehnaaz reached home she was attacked by her kids with the questions about the whereabouts of their father.
With a lot of coaxing they sobered and then left to play in their room.

Shehnaaz took this time to take a report on Z Gill for the time she could not visit because of Siddharth being in the hospital.

She was in her house office when a Pammi Ji came inside with 3 boxes in her hand

Shehnaaz: yeh kya hai beeji?

Pammi Ji kept the boxes on her table and spoke

Pammi Ji: pata nahi puttar.. abhi koi ladki deke gai hai.. ispe tera aur bacho ka naam likha hai toh mai leke aai ander.

Shehnaaz: theek hai beeji mai dekhti hu.. aap jaao

Pammi Ji smiled and left

Shehnaaz then looked at the boxes properly and as expected there was a note

Surprise mere teeno babies ke liye hai..

A full blown smile appeared on her face.. she happily opened the box and found clothes for her and both the kids.

He had sent a beautiful white and golden saree for her.. Zara had a similar punjabi suit and for Zoro there was a black and gold sherwani

She kept all the clothes back in the boxes and ran towards the kids room

As soon as she reached the room the kids ran towards her seeing the gift boxes in her hands

Zara: wooooow mumma.. humare liye gift?

Shehnaaz: mumma ne nahi papa ne bheji hai..

This doubled their excitement and they hurriedly opened their boxes.

They had just opened their boxes when Pammi Ji came to the room with a man behind her
Who was holding a lot of boxes.

Shehnaaz: ji?

Man: this for Mr Shukla's family

Shehnaaz smiled hearing it and asked him to keep it near the kids.
She thanked him and he left

There were a lot of small small boxes with their names written on it

There was note on top of the 1st box

You have 30 minutes.. wear them and get ready..

Shehnaaz giggled and then looked at the kids

Shehnaaz: sab papa ne bheja hai

All 3 of them happily opened the boxes and found matching shoes and accessories to the clothes which were sent earlier.

After exact 30 minutes Siddharth was at the door of Gill Mansion

He was dressed in a black and gold kurta pajama set..

The door was opened by Pammi Ji.. as soon as she saw him she gave him a big smile.. Siddharth also bent down and took her blessings

Pammi Ji blessed him and pulled him for a hug

Pammi Ji: sorry beta.. mujhe maaf karde.. maine tujhse bahut buri tarah baat kari thi.. par tune jo meri bachi ke liye kiya.. mai kuch nahi rakh sakti mere dil mai..

Siddharth broke the hug and spoke

Siddharth: maine kuch nai kara.. aap please sorry mat kaho.. maine harkat kari thi aisi jiski wajah se aapka mujhe daantna banta tha.. aaj se hum nayi shuruwaat karenge..

Pammi ji smiled and invited them inside.. Kushal and Asim were also with him.

As soon as he entered the kids rushed towards him
He bent down on his knees and engulfed them in his arms and stood up

Zara: mai kaisi lag rahi hu papa?

Siddharth: bilkul fairy ki tarah.. very pretty

Zara: aapne itni saari chize bheji thi papa.. aap bahut mast ho.. I love you..

Siddharth: I love you too my princess.

Then he looked at Zoro

Siddharth: you liked your gifts champ?

Zoro: yes papa.. thank you

Siddharth just smiled looking at them.. they were his life.. and he would do anything to keep the smile intact on their faces..

Their moment was broken with the clicking of heels.. someone was coming down from the stairs.
All 3 of them looked towards the stairs and saw Shehnaaz walking towards them..

Siddharth's heart started beating very fast.
She looked like a Queen.. even in the simple saree look she looked so royal that it can make anyone fall for her.

As soon as she saw him she smiled.. a big smile.. a smile that can melt any stone heart.. a smile for which he could do anything..

She started walking towards her family.. seeing her coming towards him he kept both the kids on the floor.

As soon as she reached near him he pulled her towards him by her waist.. she landed on his chest.

He ducked hi head near her ears and whispered

Siddharth: beautiful

Saying he kissed her earlobe

Shehnaaz turned scarlett red on this.

Siddharth was about to say something more when he heard multiple throat clearing voices.
He slowly came out of her neck and saw all their friends.. Jay Mahi.. Ria Rohit and Pammi Ji giving him teasing smirks.
Shehnaaz did not even dare to look at them.. she hid herself in his chest and he wrapped his arms around her waist protectively.

A loud aww was heard on his gesture.
Shehnaaz giggled and came out of his chest and asked him

Shehnaaz: what is the occasion Shuklaji? Sabko aise taiyaar kyu karaya hai?

Siddharth: it is a very important day today.. save the date !

Saying he winked at her and went to his kids.

He kneeled down in front of them and took their hands in his

Siddharth: babies.. ab mai jo kehne jaa raha hu please dil se samajhna.. I know aap dono bahut chota ho but fir aap bahut smart ho na.. aap toh jaante ho ke aapke papa sab papa ke jaise pehle se nahi they aapke saath.. uske liye I am very very sorry my babies.. maine aapke life ke 4 years miss kar diye.. aapko bahut baar lagta hoga ke papa aapse pyaar nahi karte isiliye aapke pass nahi hai.. par please believe me ke mai aapse bahut bahut zyada pyaar karta hu.. aapki smile ke liye jeeta hu mai.. and I promise that chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye papa aapko kabhi akela nahi chodenge.. I promise never to leave your hand.. ever.. chahe aap dono kitne bhi bade kyu na ho jaao.. koi bhi problem ho toh aap hamesha papa ko apne sath khada paoge.. I promise you that.. so my babies will you accept me as your father for life?

Saying he put his hand in his pocket and removed a blue velvet box..
The box had 2 promise rings.
He put that box in front of them and waited for their answer

But before he could even wait for a minute both the kids launched themselves on him

Zoro: yes yes yes.. aap hi ho humare papa

Zara: we love you !!!!!

Siddharth already had tears in his eyes.. he pulled away from the hug and kissed both their foreheads
He then made them wear the rings and hugged them again.

The entire family hooted for the cute promise made by a father to his children
And Shehnaaz.. she was a crying mess..
How once she thought that her kids will never have their fathers love.. how she thought that he is responsible for them not having a normal childhood and how she tried to keep them away from him but today her heart is overwhelmed with his cute promise.
Tears of happiness were flowing from her eyes and she did not even want to stop them.. because her kids were happy.

Siddharth broke the hug and turned back and looked at his love.. he saw tears in her eyes but he knew that they are tears of happiness..
He kissed their foreheads once again and got up.

As soon as he got up Shehnaaz ran towards him and hugged him dearly..

Shehnaaz: thank you so much.. they have the best father.. I am so proud of you.

Siddharth broke the hug and cupped her face in between his palms

Siddharth: bass mera bacha kitna royega?

Saying he wiped her tears and kissed her forehead.

Shehnaaz was just coming back to normal but his next move froze her heart.

Siddharth bent down and was sitting on his knee with a red velvet box in his hand.
He opened the box and it had the most beautiful engagement ring ever.

Shehnaaz: Siddharth yeh kya...

She was cut in between by him

Siddharth: shh.. let me speak..

He looked down.. took a deep breath and then looked up straight into her eyes and spoke

Siddharth: I love you baby.. I really do.. you are the only one made for me in the entire world.. you are the one for me baby.. you are the only one.. kabhi kabhi mai sochta hu that I am not worthy of you..  par fir mera dil yeh thought se hi tut jata hai.. usse bas teri hi chaah hai.. tujhe zara bhi dard hota hai toh mujhe bhi mehsoos hota hai.. I cannot see you in pain my love.. mai jaanta hu ke yeh bolna kitna weird lagta hoga na when I am the one jiski wajah se teri life mai sirf problems aai hai.. but you know that jab tu mujhse door gai thi mai roz dheere dheere kar ke ander se khatam ho raha tha.. teri inn aankho mai mere liye nafrat nahi bardasht hoti mujhse.. aisa 1 pal nahi tha jab mere dil ne mujhe tujhe bhulne dia ho.. par itna sab hone ke baad bhi you gave me the best blessings.. my kids.. unka bhi bahut dil dukhaya hai maine.. but ab aur nahi.. I want a fresh start.. pura past ka baggage past mai chodkar I want to have a happy future with you my love.. you me and our heartbeats..
So Shehnaaz Kaur Gill.. will you be mine forever? Will you marry me?

By the end of his speech there was a thin layer of tears in his eyes.. but a big smile on his face
But Shehnaaz was a crying mess.. she could not believe that this was happening.. she never thought that he will ever do this.. her heart had always dreamt of this but reality had never let her hope live long.
But now when it was really happening she could not speak a word.

Siddharth understood her dilemma so he tried again

Siddharth: say something baby... I am waiting my love

Shehnaaz nodded in a yes

Shehnaaz: yee..ess..

Siddharth's heart did a happy dance and he waited no time in pulling her hand and sliding the ring in her finger.. where it belonged!!!

He quickly got up and pulled her in his embrace..
Shehnaaz was quick in hiding her face in his chest

Siddharth rested his forehead on her shoulder and whispered in her ears

Siddharth: I love you so much..

And he could feel her smiling on his chest.

As soon as they hugged a loud cheer in their background
Everyone were clapping and hooting for them.
All their friends wanted nothing more than this..
They all have been a part of their journey and in every phase all they wished was for them to have their happily ever after..

After few minutes they broke the hug and went towards Pammi Ji to take her blessings.

Pammi Ji: hamesha khush raho..

Then they met everyone else.. but 1 thing did not change was their entwined hands.. even while meeting everyone they did not leave eachothers hand.

At last they went to their kids.. who were looking at them with confused eyes

Siddharth and Shehnaaz lifted them up and went and sat on the sofa

Siddharth: kya hua? Why are you both so lost??

Zoro: you asked mumma to marry you?

Siddharth: yes? Kyu?

Zara: toh matlab aap shaadi karoge?

Shehnaaz: haaan

Siddharth and Shehnaaz both were confused on why were they asking such questions

By now everyone had stopped their talks and were listening to them

Shehnaaz: aise questions kyu puch rahe ho?

Zoro: yeh kuch alag hai mumma.. hamesha 1st marriage hoti hai then babies.. par yaha toh hum aa gaye.. aur abhi papa ne aapko marriage ke liye pucha..kuch samaj nai aa raha mumma.

Everyone chuckled on hearing this

Siddharth: ab agar tum dono ke aane se pehle marriage ho jaati toh tum dono kaise dekh paate? So tumhare liye we changed the plan.

Listening to this their eyes twinkled

Zara: humare liye? Hum dekhenge aapki wedding??

Shehnaaz: of course baby.. aapke bina hum kaise karenge shaadi?

Both the kids were on cloud 9.

Their talks were interrupted by Pammi Ji

Pammi Ji: toh shaadi kab karni hai? Kuch socha hai?

Siddharth looked at Shehnaaz and then faced Pammi Ji and spoke

Siddharth: for this I want to take you all somewhere.

Shehnaaz frowned

Shehnaaz: yaha kyu nahi bata sakta?

Siddharth: surprise hai meri jaan.. chalo now lets go..
Rohit tu Pammi Ji aur Ria ko laykar aa.. everyone please follow my car.

Saying he lifted up Zara and held Shehnaaz's hand and dragged her out..

He settled both the kids on the backseat and tied a blind fold on their eyes.
After Shehnaaz settled on the passenger seat he blind folded her too.
Before anyone of them could ask him anything he spoke by himself

Siddharth: kaha jaa rahe hai woh surprise hai.. you cannot see where we are going until we reach.. so do not ask any questions..

This shut all 3 mouths.
Siddharth grinned and started the car.

The car halted after 30 minutes
He carefully pulled the kids from the car and made them stand at a safe place..then he went and guided Shehnaaz to where the kids were waiting

He had just reached to the kids when all the others reached..
All the women gasped seeing the place.

Siddharth also removed the blind fold and Shehnaaz was shocked seeing where she was standing
Even the kids were looking at the entrance with confusion.

Zara was the 1st one to speak

Zara: hum mumma ke office kyu aaye hai?

Siddharth: ander chalo batata hu.

All of them started going towards the entrance.. Siddharth had Zara in his 1 arm and he was holding Shehnaaz's hand with his another hand.. and Shehnaaz was holding Zoro's hand with her another hand
Everyone was following them.

They were about to enter the office but were stopped by Marie Aunty

Marie Aunty: stop.. you cannot enter the office like this

Siddharth's heart started beating fast.. was she still angry with him? Will she not let him be a part of the family?
His thoughts were broken by Shehnaaz

Shehnaaz: kya hua aunty? Hum ander kyun nahi aa sakte?

Marie Aunty: maine kab bola ander nahi aa sakte hai.. I said you cannot like this... matlab pehle mai aarti karungi tum dono ki.. itni badi problem se sahi salamat mere samne khade ho dono.. aarti karke nazar utarungi..

Siddharth's heart was feeling overwhelmed.. he could not say anything.. he just stood there with a teary smile on his face.

Marie Aunty went inside and brought the aarti thali and did their aarti.

After that they all entered the office.. Shehnaaz was surprised seeing all her staff waiting for them.. and everyone dressed in Indian.
And in the center of the room there was a table placed and on that there was a big book on it.
Also there was a man behind the table wearing a black coat..

Shehnaaz: yeh kya ho raha hai Siddharth.. batayega ab?

Siddharth: Pammi Ji.. aap puch rahi thi na ke hum shaadi kab karenge?
Hum Shaadi abhi karenge.. yaha.

Shehnaaz gasped listening to this... is he out of his mind?

Shehnaaz: Siddharth yeh tu kya bol raha hai?

Siddharth: mai aur ab nahi wait karna chahta.. I want my family Shehnaaz.. I want you and my kids to be officially mine.

Shehnaaz: but aise?

Siddharth: yeh Advocate Mallik hai.. he will register our marriage.. and all the employees of this company are not less then your family..  so unke bina kaise karte shaadi.

Shehnaaz was surprised.. this man in front of her.. the man who is the father of her children...the man whom she loves is magic.

She just smiled and nodded in yes.

He gestured Rohit to be with the kids and held Shehnaaz's hand and went to the center table.

They both signed the marriage certificate..
Their friends were their witnesses
Kushal Shefali Asim and Jasmine were Siddharth's witness
Jay Mahi Madhu and Vishal were Shehnaaz's witnesses

A huge sound of claps echoed in the building.. after signing they exchanged the garlands.
Siddharth had also arranged mangalsutra and sindoor..
He tied the mangalsutra around her neck and filled her hairline with sindoor.

The claps did not stop even for a second..

As soon as everything was done Shehnaaz hugged Siddharth and he also did not wait any second to wrap her in his arms.

Shehnaaz: kabhi plan kara tune yeh sab?

Siddharth: hosh aya hai tabse..

Shehnaaz kissed his heart and smiled.

Siddharth broke the hug and announced

Siddharth: everyone close their eyes.. major PDA coming up

Shehnaaz was about to say something but she could not because Siddharth's lips came crashing on hers.

It was a kiss full of love.. nothing else.. just love.

After a few minutes he broke the kiss and joined their foreheads

Siddharth: I love you so much.. biwi

Shehnaaz: I love you too.
