Recognizing whom the voice belong to Shehnaaz let out an involuntary whimper

Shehnaaz: Asim!!

Asim with a very cold expression walked into the room and stood in front of Shehnaaz.. it was like he was shielding her from Himanshi.

Shehnaaz and Siddharth looked at eachother.. and both had the same confusion written on their faces..
How can Asim do this? They were friends.. right?

Siddharth was feeling betrayed.. his eyes were screaming in agony.. he could not believe that his brother could do something like this..

But he was not naive that he would deny what he was seeing.. still he asked the most stupid question

Siddharth: why?

Asim was not giving any expression on his face or eyes.. 
He face was nonchalant and his eyes seemed cold.
No one could make out what was going on in his head.. not even Himanshi..
He then turned towards Siddharth and spoke

Asim: pyaar karta hu mai Shehnaaz se.. tu bechme aya Siddharth

Shehnaaz closed her eyes.. she did not know what to say.. how can this be the reason for Asim to turn against Siddharth?

Siddharth: tu usko pyaar nahi karta Asim.. yeh baat pehle bhi samjhai thi maine tujhe..

Asim: aur tu hota kon hai yeh decide karnewala? Mujhe pata hai mai kisse pyaar karta hu kisse nahi..

Siddharth went quiet.. his words "tu hota kon hai" kept running in his head.

Shehnaaz saw the hurt on his face and could not control..

Shehnaaz: tujhe sharam nahi aati Asim? Isne tere liye itna kuch kia.. badle mai kuch maanga bhi nahi tujhse.. aur tu aise payback kar raha hai usko?
Aur Siddharth ko toh chod.. Jasmine ka kya? Ke usse bhi dhokha dey raha hai tu? Tu itna kaise gir gaya haa?
(She yelled)

Asim closed his eyes.. his hands fisted behind his back.. but the nonchalant expression on his face did not change.

Asim: maine 1 baar bata dia maine jo kia woh kyu kia.. and rahi baat Jasmine ki toh haa tha mujhe attraction uski taraf.. par tab tu nahi thi.. but when you came back mujhe tab samaj aya ke mai aaj bhi tujhse kitna pyaar karta hu..
So please you both.. do not create a scene and do what we are asking you to do.. hum sab ke liye yahi acha hoga.

Siddharth: you dont love her.. you are just obsessed with her.. open your eyes !!! Yeh sab karke tu usse bhi hurt kar raha hai.. itni baat samajh nahi aati tujhe?

Asim: tu jo samaj woh.. I dont care.. I just want her to be with me.. kabse wait kar raha tha iss din ka.. jab woh meri hogi.. since the day I came back from coma.. I have been waiting for this day.

Himanshi: exactly.. mai jaanti thi ke Asim Shehnaaz se kitna pyaar karta hai.. isiliye toh isse mere plan me shaamil kia maine.. and true to my thoughts usne 1 min mai haa kardi.. upar se sara kuch arrange bhi kia..

Shehnaaz closed her eyes in frustration... once again she came back to ruin her happiness..

Shehnaaz: toh itne din se jo bhi tu kar raha tha woh sab..

Asim: natak tha.. obviously.. I had to be around you... but Siddharth ke bhi good books mai rehna tha.. because agar usse zara bhi doubt jata that I still love you woh tujhe mujhse door kar deta.. isiliye sahi time aane tak I had to be the good guy who stepped back for his friend.

Siddharth was sitting there numb.. his best friend... his brother betrayed him in the worst way possible..
He ruined his Shehnaaz for him.. and what did he get in return? Betrayal!!!
Asim knew how much he loves Shehnaaz.. after his parents death it was the 1st time he got a family.. but Asim chose to be selfish..
Once again because of him Shehnaaz is in trouble.

Siddharth: kya chahiye tumhe?
(He said in a monotone)

Himanshi did a mini victory dance in her mind and spoke happily

Himanshi: you Siddharth I want you..  just say that you love me and I will end this..

Siddharth looked at her with emotionless eyes

Siddharth: I don't love you.

Himanshi's victory was fading

Himanshi: come on Siddharth don't be stubborn.. just say it once.. we all shall stay happy..

Siddharth: 1 baar kaha na.. I don't love you..

Himanshi was getting angry..

Himanshi: tum aise nahi manoge?

Siddharth just glared her.. and the next moment he felt a stinging pain on his cheek
His face moved on the opposite direction with the force..

Shehnaaz gasped..
But Himanshi was not done yet..
She held his collar and pulled him

Himanshi: I can do more then this Siddharth.. just tell me you are mine dammit

Siddharth looked at her with cold eyes

Siddharth: I. Don't. Love. You

Himanshi jerked him away..

Shehnaaz: kya kar raha hai Siddharth?

She knew it will kill her seeing Siddharth becoming Himanshi's but she even knew that Himanshi was obsessed with him and could go to any extent to make him hers.. she will not even hesitate to harm him and that was something which Shehnaaz did not want.

Siddharth looked at her and gave her a sad smile

Siddharth: 1 baar tere samne isko apna banane ki galti kar chuka hu.. dubara kabhi woh galti repeat nahi karunga.. chahe jo ho jaaye..
Mai tera tha..tera hu aur tera hi rahunga!

Shehnaaz was stunned with his reply.. she could not believe what she was hearing..
She felt so small in front of his love..
His love was so selfless.. he did not even consider his safety over her...

Himanshi fumed

Himanshi: enough!!!!! Bada pyaar aa raha hai na ek dusre pe? Sara aaj khatam kar dungi mai..
Maine bahut saal wait kia hai tumhe apna bananeka Siddharth.. aur aaj toh mai tumhe apna banakar rahungi.. chahe mujhe jo bhi karna pade..

Shehnaaz could see the evil glint in her eyes... 1 side she was happy that Siddharth loved her so much but the other side she was scared.. very scared about what Himanshi was going to do..

Shehnaaz: Siddharth meri baat sunn.. please do what she is saying.. please.. hum yeh maan lenge that we are not ment to be.. please Siddharth

Siddharth's looked at her and understood what she was trying to do.. he understood her worry for him.. if he was in her place maybe he would have done the same..
But he was not in her place.. and he was definitely not gonna accept Himanshi as his partner.. he will not repeat his past mistakes again..

Siddharth: maine tujhe kaha tha ke tu mere liye meri jaan se bhi zyada important hai.. mai sirf tera hu meri jaan.. sirf tera..

Shehnaaz's eyes brimmed with tears.. she remembers him saying this.. but at that time she was so stuck in her past that she did not accept it.. but now all she wanted to do is run and hide in his arms.. take all his love and cherish it throughout her life..

After hearing this Himanshi lost her senses and called someone

Himanshi (on call): Rana.. tum dono ander aao

Saying she disconnected the call and smirked looking at Siddharth..

Himanshi: mai bhi dekhti hu kab tak rehta hai tumhara pyaar

In the next few minutes 2 bulky men came to the room.
They came and stood behind Himanshi

Himanshi: yeh janaab meri kahi baat nahi maan rahe.. khatirdari karo inki ache se.. ke jab tumhara kaam khatam ho yeh mai jo bolu woh kare

Shehnaaz got scared.. she knew what she ment by "khaatirdaari"

But before she could say something both the men launched at Siddharth..

They were hitting him like he was their punching bag.

Shehnaaz started thrusting.. she wanted to get out of the chains.. she wanted to go there and save her Siddharth
Tears were flowing from her eyes.. 

Shehnaaz: kya kar rahe ho.. chod usse.. Himanshi are you out of your mind.. Siddharth.. please please please
Asim rok usse.. please stop them.. usse maar rahe hai woh.. tera dost hai woh Asim.. please help him..
Someone help.. please.. Siddharth!!!!!
Please stop.. mat maaro usse... lag jayegi usko.. roko koi... please please.. Siddharth!!!!

She kept fighting.. the chains and ropes were slicing her skin but she did not care..
It was nothing in front of what Siddharth was facing..
She kept jumping and wiggling...
But Siddharth did not give out any satisfaction to Himanshi..
He kept on groaning.. but..not even a single shout for help.. not even a single cry of pain..

Himanshi was sitting on a chair in front of him.. she was just waiting for his 1 cry for help...just 1 crack and then she will break Siddharth and then use it to keep him to herself..

But Asim was standing there like a statue.. he did not give any reaction to Shehnaaz's pleadings.. he did not even flinch on seeing Siddharth's condition

After 30 minutes of torture Himanshi shouted

Himanshi: bass!!

Hearing her both the men stopped their torture and stepped back.

By now Siddharth had one black eye but his other eye did not even open.
His nose and mouth was bleeding.. his entire face was bruised
He was sure that few of his ribs had cracked..
His 1 shoulder was dislocated and his other elbow was paining..
The pain was too much to bear.. he was near to passing out..

Here Shehnaaz was lying on the chair like a corpse..
She was exhausted with all the fighting with the ropes and chains.. all her energy drained  in trying to get out of the chains but everything in vain..
Her Siddharth was getting beaten up but she could not do anything to help him..
Silent tears were falling from her eyes..

Himanshi: they can do more Siddharth.. for hours.. let's not let them use their entire talent.. just say that you are mine baby.. we shall all be out of our miseries..
Mujhse tumhari yeh halat zara bhi nah dekhi jaa rahi..
Just say what I want to hear..

Siddharth looked at her with his half open eyes and smirked
He was looking deadly..

Siddharth: I. DON'T. LOVE. YOU.

Then with a lot of efforts he turned his face towards his baby...

Siddharth: Shehnaaz.. baby.. mai theek hu.. please ro mat meri jaan.

Shehnaaz looked at him with her red puffy eyes..

Shehnaaz: Siiiddhhaarthhhh

Siddharth: haan meri jaan

He said like a reflex

Himanshi: ho gaya? Ya aur baaki hai? Nai nai karlo karlo jo karna hai.. because this is the last time tum dono 1 dusre se mil rahe ho.. you know why? Kyuki agar Siddharth mera nahi hua toh mai usse kisika nahi hone dungi..

Saying she pulled out her gun and pointed at Siddharth's forehead.
She was about to pull the trigger when Asim who was silent till now shouted

Asim: NOW !!!!!
