Shehnaaz could not sleep the entire night.
The thoughts of the stalker finding her in person was not sitting well with her.
What if the kids are with her when he comes to her..
She was very tensed not for her but for the kids.

She realized that she did not sleep even a minute when her thoughts were disturbed by the sunrays.

She sighed and checked the time.. it showed 6 o'clock in the morning.
Today she was supposed to go for shopping with kids and Siddharth.

As per the "co parenting" agreement.. Siddharth and Shehnaaz were supposed to go together for shopping with Zoro and Zara for Shefali and Kushal's wedding.

She groaned.. she wanted to avoid him.. she wanted to maintain distance from him
But he always succeeded in coming in front of her.
And now since the kids and their happiness was concerned she cannot even avoid him.

She was not liking his involvement in her life..
This is how it started 5 years ago.. and she did not want to repeat that same mistake

Mistake for trusting Siddharth Shukla.. mistake of making him a part of her life.. and the mistake of loving him.

She mentally prepared herself to behave civil with him today.
No sassy comebacks..no sarcasm and no taunts.
She has to ensure that the kids do not come to know that there is an invisible wall between their parents
A wall of betrayal.. a wall of agony.. a wall of lies and a wall of heartbreak.

It was already morning so it did not make any sense to sleep now..
So she got up from her bed and went to the bathroom
She knew she was early but she thought of using this time and prepare breakfast for everyone today.

She wore a loose tshirt and leggings as she had to cook.. and not to hide that she is clumsy

She decided to treat the kids with pancakes today.
She immediately took out all the required ingredients from the fridge and started mixing them.
She was beating the mixture when Pammi Ji came to the kitchen

Pammi Ji: bache tu kyu kar rahi hai? Itna jaldi kaise uth gai tu?

Shehnaaz did not want to worry her so she lied

Shehnaaz: beeji raatko mai parde bandh karna bhul gai thi toh sunlight se neend khul gai..
Ab uth gai thi toh socha sabke liye aaj mai breakfast bana du.

Pammi Ji: acha kya bana rahi hai?

Shehnaaz: pancakes!!!!!

She kept the batter aside for resting and spoke

Shehnaaz: Chalo beeji.. sab ready hai.. ap Ria ko uthako and mai meri jaans ko uthake aati hu.

In the kids room:

Shehnaaz entered the room quietly.. and the scene in front of her swelled her heart

Both her kids were sleeping like a baby.. which they are obviously

She went towards them and kissed their foreheads

Shehnaaz: mumma loves you both a lot my babies.

With that she started tickling both of them.. and in a few seconds the room was filled with their laughter.

When Shehnaaz felt that they have woken up she stopped

Zoro: mummmaaaa.. goooooood morninggggg

Saying he hugged her

Zara: mai bhi...

Saying she jumped on Zoro.. due to the jerk Shehnaaz fell on the bed with Zara and Zoro on her top.

Shehnaaz: chalo ab utho dono..mumma ne aap dono ke liye special breakfast banaya hai.

Listening to this both of them sprung out of the bed and ran towards the bathroom

Shehnaaz helped them brushing their teeth and then gave them a bath.

Shehnaaz: yaad hai na aaj shopping pe jana hai?

Both of them bobbed their heads positively.

Shehnaaz: so select tumhe kya pehn na hai and come down.. okay?

Zoro and Zara: okay mumma

Shehnaaz went down and started making the pancakes.

She was almost done when all the kids I.e Zoro..Zara and Ria came to the dining area

Ria: breakfast mai kya hai aaj?

Shehnaaz: chocolate chip pancakes

All of them smiled gleefully listening to it

The next 1 hour was spent by the family having breakfast and their banter.

They were almost done when Siddharth reached there.
As soon as the kids saw him they ran towards him
He also sat on his knees and engulfed them in a hug.
He got up with both of them in his arms

Siddharth: good morning.. aaj bade khush ho?

Zara: aaj mumma ne chocolate chips pancakes banai thi..maza hi aa gaya

Shehnaaz: you will have breakfast?

Siddharth's heart missed a beat.. his baby taking to him normally
Maybe for her it was a normal generous question
But for Siddharth it ment everything..
His baby warming up to him was the only thing he was breathing for.
Not letting the chance go he said

Siddharth: of course.

He said and settled on the chair next to Ria
Shehnaaz served him and spoke

Shehnaaz: tum breakfast karlo mai ready hoke aati hu.

Siddharth nodded and she left.

Siddharth: isko kya ho gaya.. yeh itne pyaar se kaise baat kar rahi hai mere sath

Ria: no clue bhaiyya.. aap pancakes enjoy karo na

Siddharth nodded and relished the amazing dish prepared by his baby.
It is been so long that he had something made by her.
And after so long his heart was contented by any meal.

Shehnaaz dressed up in a casual kurti and jeans.
She used a bit of makeup today because she had dark circles under her eyes due to the lack of sleep.
She kept her hair open

She was ready in no time.
When she came down Siddharth had just finished his breakfast.
Seeing her he spoke

Siddharth: chalein?

She nodded and called the kids. In the next minute all of them were heading towards Siddharth's car
Shehnaaz helped the kids settle in the backseat.
She fasten their seatbelts and then she settled in the passenger seat.
She was just giving them the actual picture of a family how they see in movies.

But here Siddharth's heart was doing bhangra..
She was sitting in his car.. on the passenger seat.. without any coaxing..
He was smiling inwardly on it.. he felt like a teenager who got a chance to sit next to his crush.

Shehnaaz: chalein?

Siddharth came out of his dreamworld and spoke

Siddharth: jana kaha hai?

Shehnaaz: Kartik ke yaha.. I mean wait

She put the address on his GPS

But Siddharth was stuck on Kartik.. yeh sala Kartik kon hai?

Shehnaaz clicked her fingers in front of him

Shehnaaz: arey chalo?

Siddharth shook his head and started driving.

The entire drive he was wondering who was this guy.
Why does she feel so comfortable in meeting him?
From how long do they know eachother?
And who is he to her?

He was brought back from his thoughts by Zara

Zara: mumma K darling ko bolna that mujhe best clothes chahiye..
I wanna look like a princess

And possessive mode on !!!

Siddharth (in his mind): darling? Did my princess just called him darling?
Pehle Shehnaaz and ab Zara..
Yeh dono "kartik" se bahut zyada free nai ho rahe?
Ab milna padega usko..
Yeh Zoro ne kaise allow kia in dono ko aise?
Mere samne toh bada bhav khaya tha usne.. baap ke samne bhaav and yaha darling bol rahi hai and kuch reaction hi nahi..

Siddharth: you are already my princess.. kuch bhi pehen lo

Zara grinned from ear to ear

Zara: but mujhe clothes bhi aise hi chahiye.. I know K darling will make me look exactly how i want..
He is the best!

Siddharth (in his mind): no princess.. papa is the best na..
Please meri jaan aur mat jala apne baap ko..
Teri mumma kam hai kya?

Shehnaaz just chuckled.. she met Kartik when she organized her 1st page 3 event with Z Events.
They both clicked on the 1st meet itself..
Kartik helped her a lot to keep her identity hidden during the events and also he knew that Shehnaaz was pregnant
So all the clothes which the kids wore from the time they were born were designed by Kartik.
There are a very few people who knew about the kids then.. and Kartik was one of them.

Here Siddharth was way ahead on his jealousy game
He was trying to find a reason to stop them from going there.

Siddharth: emm Shehnaaz.. is it fine to go there?
I mean the kids are with us.. and uska staff bhi hoga..
Is it you know.. okay?

Shehnaaz: today is supposed to be off for his staff.
It is only him and us.
So no one will know
And he knows about them that is why we are going to him
I trust him.

What she ment was that she trusts him with the secrecy of the kids but it hit Siddharth in a very different way.
Is he the only one whom she does not trust?
Will she be able to trust him again?
Is there any hope left or he is fighting a lost battle?

Siddharth: hmm okay
