Siddharth's smile returned when he saw the caller ID
It was a video call from his babies

He quickly plugged in his earphone and rushed to the balcony and answered the call

He was surprised to see only Zara..
She was sitting in a cute onesie with 2 ponytails.

On Call

Zara: heeellllooooo paaapaaaaa

Siddharth: hie mera baccha.. kaisa hai tu? Zoro kaha hai?

Zara: mai mast hu papa.. aur Zoro pata nahi..kaha chale gaya

She said with a cute frown

Siddharth chuckled on this little goofball
How similar was she to his baby..
He just wanted to go there and crush them in his arms and never let them go.

He shrugged all his thoughts when he saw Zoro as well

Siddharth: hey champ! Kaisa hai?

Zoro: I am fine papa..aap kaise ho?

Siddharth: tum dono ko dekh lia ab mai bhi fine hu
You both know I love you and your mumma right?

Zoro: we know that papa

Zara: fir aap humare sath kyu nai rehte?
Hum bhi mumma se bahut pyaar karte hai.. isiliye unhe kahi chodke nahi jaate

Siddharth's heart ached a bit
How could he explain them that what all he did with their mumma.. because of which she does not want him in her life.
Days are passing but he is still not able to forgive himself for his deeds..then how can he expect her to forget everything and forgive him

Siddharth: kahi baar hum aisa kuch kat dete hai ke hum unse door ho jaate hai jisse hum sabse zyada pyaar karte hai.

Zoro: aapne aisa kya kia hai papa?

He had so much sternness in his voice that Siddharth was taken aback
He knew that Zoro loves his mumma toh most in this entire world
And now that he came to know that he has done something he will not accept it
But he had just gotten the love of his kids and he did not want to lose it at any cost.

Siddharth: sahi time pe mai aur mumma aapko saari baatein batayenge beta
Please tab tak mumma se iss related kuch bhi nahi puchna.. okay?

Both the kids nodded in agreement

Siddharth: toh abhi yeh batao that aap dono ne mujhe itni raatko kyu call kia?
It is way past your bedtime

Zara: arey haan..main baat toh hum aapko batana hi bhul gaye.

Saying she slapped her forehead with her palm

Siddharth: ab bolo bhi

Zara: kal humari beeji ka birthday hai..mumma ne gharpe party rakhi hai.. aap aaoge na?

Siddharth was confused

Siddharth: beeji kon baccha?

Zara: offo papa.. beeji.. yaar mumma unhe beeji bulati hai..
Toh hum bhi wahi bulate hai unhe..

Siddharth froze.. Pammi ji and Ria.. oh dear God.
Along with Shehnaaz he had tried searching for them as well
But he could not find them..
Finally he had some clue.. where ever they are he was gonna go there and get them back.
Pammi Ji had always treated him as her son.
He had a lot of people from whom he had to ask for forgiveness

He sighed

Siddharth: aap unse milo ho?

Zoro: obviously papa.. woh humare sath toh rehte hai..
(He said like it's the most obvious thing)

A wave of relief washed on him
He was relieved that they were there with his baby..
She was not alone.

Siddharth: par kya unhone mujhe invite kia hai?
Bina invitation main kaise aau?

Obviously he knew that even she must have not forgived him
But their next statement made him happy

Zoro: humne unse pucha hai papa..ke hum humare papa ko bhi bulaye toh unhone mana nahi kia

Siddharth was very happy.. finally he will be able to meet them
He was gonna beg for forgiveness from her.
She was like a mother to him..he would do anything to get that motherly warmth back.

Siddharth: aisa hai toh zarur aaunga mai..

Both the kids squealed in happiness
Siddharth's wounded heart felt relief seeing their smiles.

They were talking when he heard his baby's voice from behind

Shehnaaz: ab tak jaag rahe ho.. time dekha hai.. chalo sone.. aadatein bigad gai hai tumlog ko.. samaj nai ata..

She stopped in middle of her rant when she saw that the kids were on video call with Siddharth

Her cheeks turned pink with embarrassment..
She immediately sat down and covered her legs with quilt
She was wearing a knee length nighty.

Here Siddharth could not divert his attention from her smooth legs
He was so mesmerized with her.
She was in normal house clothes and was without makeup..still she looked breathtaking.

Shehnaaz: tumlog baat karlo and then so jaao..
It is very late.

Siddharth did not want to let go this chance to talk to her

Siddharth: Shehnaaz listen

Shehnaaz looked to the screen

Shehnaaz: yes Mr Shukla?

Siddharth has nothing to speak.. he just made her wait as a reflex..

Siddharth: emm did you visit Maya's boutique?

Shehnaaz: you know her?

Here Siddharth hit the jackpot !!

Siddharth: obviously.. I know her since a long time.. college se sathme hai hum
We are very close friends.

Siddharth was hoping some reaction from her..

Shehnaaz: okay.. haan gai thi mai Shefali ke sath.. kyu?

Siddharth: how was the collection.. did you try something?

Shehnaaz immediately became nervous.. she recalled the incident from the changing room

Siddharth noticed it and internally smirked on the effect which he had on her

Siddharth: are you there?

Shehnaaz came out of her thoughts

Shehnaaz: ohh ha ha.. collection acha hai.. but I have my personal designer so i did not try anything.

Siddharth got his way.. so he did not push the topic more.

Siddharth: okay.. mai bata dunga usko

Shehnaaz: huh?

Siddharth: arey I said mai unhe aapke ache reviews dey dunga..anyways I am meeting her tomorrow.. so I will tell her..

Shehnaaz got a little uncomfortable with this situation
It was not like she was getting jealous.. but ya somewhere she was not liking it

Shehnaaz: okay

The kids were quietly hearing their conversation
They have always seen their mother on important calls that is why they never disturb her when she is talking over the phone
But these little beans did not realize that she was taking to their father and they can all have a conversation together

Writer: dont worry kids..family toh puri hoke rahegi.. I promise

Shehnaaz realized that both of them were the only ones talking
She saw on her right and found her kids who were just looking at her.

Shehnaaz: kya hua?

Zara: aap baat kar rahe they na..so humne disturb nai Kia

Siddharth: mujhse hi kar rahi thi woh baat princess.. aap kaise disturb karte?

Zoro and Zara still weren't convinced

Zoro: okay..so hum ab kya baat kare?

Shehnaaz: emm aapne apne papa ko aapke naye game ke baare mai bataya?

And then the family talked together..
This is what Shehnaaz wanted for her kids..
A normal family..
But zindagi mai hum jo chahte hai woh hume hamesha nahi milta.

At Siddharth's House

Siddharth's heart was at peace today.

Like Shehnaaz even he wanted the best for both his kids
And what can be better then a healthy family.
Wherein they both the kids felt safe..they both can express themselves freely.

Where he and his baby will tuck them to bed every night and then he would carry her to their bedroom for their alone time.

If he had 1 wish to change anything from his past.. he would happily give up everything to go back and change that irrational promise he made to Asim to destroy her.

But what is done is done.. and now he will not miss any single moment from their lives.

He was happy that tomorrow he was gonna see her.. in person..
But he had another person to convince tomorrow
Pammi Ji..

And he knew what he had to do !
