After spending amazing family time..with a heavy heart they left the café and were going towards their respective cars.

Zoro was holding his mumma's hand while Zara was in Siddharth's arms.

Siddharth went till her car and kept Zara on her feet.
She did not like it

Zara: godi uthao na papa
(She said raising her hands)

Siddharth did not have the heart to deny her cute request
So he looked at Shehnaaz for help
She sighed and kneeled in front of her and took her in her embrace and whispered

Shehnaaz: strong girls apne papa ko godi uthane nahi bolte
Woh apne aap car mai baithte hai
Zoro dekho strong hai..

Zara's eyes widened on this and she looked at Zoro who was already leaning on the car.

She quickly came out of the hug and ran towards the car

Zara: mujhe nai chahiye papa ki godi.. mai strong hu
(She declared)

Shehnaaz and Siddharth chuckled on her cute declaration

Shehnaaz made both the kids sit in the car and fasten their seatbelts

She was done with Zara and was now going towards the driver's seat when Siddharth called her
She braced herself and went towards him

Shehnaaz: hmm boliye?

Siddharth: thank you so much Shehnaaz.. for bringing them up so nicely
And for not keeping them away from me

Shehnaaz: that is not my decision Mr Shukla..
They get to choose who they want in their life

Siddharth: still you could have kept them away..

Shehnaaz: mai koi kaam chup chupake nahi karti Mr Shukla
Jo karti hu samne karti hu
And maine apne bacho ko bhi yahi sikhaya hai.

Siddharth sighed.

Siddharth: acha okay give me your number

Shehnaaz: kyu?

Siddharth: arey bacho se baat karni ho toh?
Unhe milne ana ho toh?

Shehnaaz: they have their own tablet and have their Skype ID.. you can contact them on that.

Siddharth: do you have a problem in sharing your number?

Shehnaaz: yes.. I  think maine pehle hi clear kia tha that I dont have any place for you in my heart or life.
We can try co parenting... nothing more then that

Siddharth: chance hi nahi
(He murmured)

Shehnaaz: kuch bola aapne?

Siddharth: emm nothing.. mai Zoro se Skype details lay leta hu..
I will keep coming back baby..
(He said the last line looking straight in her eyes)

Siddharth went towards her car and took both their numbers.

They said their goodbyes and left for home.

Next Day at Z Gill Events:

Shehnaaz was engrossed in her work when Shefali barged in.

She was gloomy.. like she did not sleep the last night
Shehnaaz also remembered that she did not see Shefali the entire day yesterday

Shehnaaz went towards her and hugged her

(That's the thing about best friends..they know when to speak and when to just take you in their embrace)

And the dam broke loose.. Shefali started crying..

Shehnaaz: arry Shefu...tu meri sherni hai.. tu kabse rone lagi?

But it was falling on deaf ears because Shefali was still sobbing.

Shehnaaz pulled her to the couch in her cabin and made her sit
She sat in front of her.. she took her hands in her and said

Shehnaaz: please bata kya hua hai?
Why so sad?

Shefali sighed remembering what happened that day

Flashback to the day when Kushal had come with Siddharth to Z Gill Events:

After Siddharth left Kushal was still hesitant to go to Shefali's cabin.
He was in guilt to that extent that he was not able to face Shehnaaz so how was he supposed to apologize to the woman he loved? When he himself knows that he was wrong.

Kushal was having an inner debate.

Mind: she also loves you.. just go and talk to her

Heart: kis muh se jayega? Itna kia kam hai tune aur tere dost ne ke fir chala muh uthake maafi maange

Mind: Siddharth toh koshish kar raha hai na Shehnaaz ko manane
Toh soch agar Shehnaaz maan gai toh unlog toh 1 ho jayenge.. tere pyaar ka kya?

Heart: ......

Mind: aur yeh bhi soch.. agar Shefali maan gai toh she can help you guys to win Shehnaaz back..idiot!!!

Heart:...

Since his heart had no answer and his mind was giving him logical ideas he went towards her cabin and  barged in without knocking

Shefali was startled for a moment but then all she could see was the man whom she loved but he turned to be heartless

Shefali: why the hell are you here?

Kushal: for you!
(He said bluntly... aakhir hai toh Siddharth ka hi dost)

Shefali: get out !

Kushal turned and went towards the door
Shefali thought that he is leaving but instead he locked the door and turned back

Kushal: ab jab tak tum shanti se meri baat nai sunogi.. iss room se na tum aur na mai bahar jayenge.

Shefali: I am telling you for the very last time Kushal.. I dont want to listen to you.. I dont want to see your face..
So just get out and leave me alone!
(She yelled and stood up from her place and walked towards the window and stood facing her face towards it)

Kushal: theek hai raho yahi pe..

Saying he sat on the chair which was near the door.

.
30 minutes later

Shefali was done being locked in her own cabin

Shefali: kyu zid kar raha hai Kushal.. please leave
(She said helplessly)

Kushal: I am not giving up on us baby.. mai jaanta hu maine maafi paane wala kaam nahi Kia..
Par mai kya karu.. nahi ho raha tere bina

Shefali: tum nahi they Kushal.. I have seen my baby suffer..
Day and night..
Woh jab labour mai gai tab tak kaam kar rahi thi..
1 jhatke mai tumlog ne uski innocence chin li..bada banne par majbur kar dia usko..

Kushal: mai jaanta hu ke usne bahut suffer kia hai..
But trust me baby it was not the plan
Jo sab hua tha woh sirf Shehnaaz ko dikhane hua tha.. real mai nahi

Shefali now turned and faced him

Shefali: matlab?

Kushal: matlab na Siddharth ki Himanshi mai sachi shaadi honewali thi aur na hi Gill Events ko humne take over kia tha
He was not even going to sleep with her that night.. the things that happened that night were out of passion and not plan

Shefali was confused

Shefali: I dont understand

Kushal: Siddharth wanted revenge from her.  Yes we both had vowed to destroy Shehnaaz
Siddharth had promised that to someone very important to him
Uski chalte Siddharth went to Mr Mathurs party.
But uske baad jo bhi hua.. their friendship.. their bond sab naturally hua.. there were no negative intentions
During that time Siddharth fell for her.. he was madly in love with her
But then he did not want to begin their relationship with any wrong feelings.
He wanted to keep the promise.. because agar aage jaake Shehnaaz ko pata chalta toh aur chot pahuchti usse
So promise rakhne he created a false narrative.
Gill Events was never taken over by Shukla Enterprises
It was still on the name of Shehnaaz Gill
Himanshi ko bhi pehle hi bataya tha that shaadi nai ho rahi.. sirf dikhawe ki engagement hai..
Gill Mansion bhi Shehnaaz ke naam pe tha.. till the day she came back.

Shefali was in a shock.. like a bomb was blasted on her head

Taking the opportunity Kushal went and hugged her.
But she was too numb to react.
So he continued

Kushal: our entire plan was sorted. After the take over announcement Shehnaaz was supposed to work for Shukla Enterprises
Funda was simple.. rehneko ghar and  har month bank mai paise.
It would also be easy for Siddharth to cajole her
He had promised himself that the day she joins his company he was going to ask for her forgiveness.
He would tell her the truth and would do anything in the world to coax her.
He had told me that when she comes out of the trauma he would gift her Gill Events.
Never in our wildest dreams we thought that Shehnaaz would sell everything and disappear
We never wanted her to suffer.. never
We both wanted to take care of her..
But we ended up doing only the negative part of our plan
In these 5 years Siddharth has not slept even a minute in peace
We both had searched her like maniacs
But we could not find her.

By the end of the speech Shefali was clutching his shirt and crying

Shefali: I am sorry baby.. I should have given you a chance to explain

Kushal: its not your fault baby.. she is your friend.. and friendship mai log kya kya karte hai woh mujhse better aur kon samjhega..

Shefali: why didn't you tell me 1st?

Kushal: mujhe thodina pata that that Sana and Shehnaaz 1 hi hai..
And Siddharth was supposed to tell the truth to her.
Not me not anyone else.
Please tu bhi nai bolna kuch usko
Siddharth loves her alot.. he will coax her.. I am sure..
Uska pyaar Shehnaaz Kaur Gill ko uski baby banake chodega.

Shefali: mai any which ways uski madat nai karne wali.. sorry..
I still don't like him.. specially for my Shehnaaz
Kids ki baat alag hai.. I still don't approve him for my baby.

Kushal (in his mind): matlab Siddharth tu toh gayo

Kushal nodded in approval and took her lips for an urgent kiss.

Back to present

Shehnaaz: oye kaha kho gai? Kya hua batayegi?

Shefali: Kushal aya tha.. maafi maang raha tha..I dont know what to do

Shehnaaz sighed.. because of her even Shefali and Kushal were suffering

Shehnaaz: dekh Shefu.. 5 years pehle jo bhi hua woh mere and Siddharth ke bech hua tha.
Kushal ne jo bhi kia woh as a friend Kia
Tune bhi meri help kia na bacho ko Siddharth se door rakhne?
Friends hote hi hai sath dene
And anyway uss wajah se mai apna pyaar kho chuki hu.. I dont want you to loose yours too.

Shefali was in awe of the girl sitting in front of her.
She has suffered so much but still she is asking her to forgive Kushal.

She hugged Shehnaaz tightly.

Shefali: tujhe teri hisse ki khusiyaan bahut jaldi milegi meri jaan.. very soon.

From daily to alternate days to twice a week.

But I am also helpless.
Kaam itna hota hai that raat tak dimag chalna hi bandh ho jata hai..
