The entire conversation of the mother daughter duo was heard by someone whose heart ached on the last lines.

Yes it was Siddharth.. he had reached the hospital before Shehnaaz came back to consciousness.
He wanted to talk to her.
He wanted her back in his life and he wanted to be a part of hers too.
It was important for both.. his plan as well as his sanity.
He needed his baby back.
He knew he had some last days with her..after that she is gonna hate him and he was not sure whether any of his plans would get her back to him.
But he still wanted the promise he made to be fulfilled because he did not want to start any relation with her with wrong intentions in mind.
He would fulfill his promise and then coax her to take him back.. he would not back down even if he will have to try for his entire life.. he would try till his last breath.
He had decided that he will win her back.. he will start from the starting.

But still he did not like how she did not want to talk about him.
He knew he deserved it.. he knew that he has  to get used to it but his poor heart was not able to take those words.

Shrugging all his thoughts he went inside and spoke in between their conversation

Siddharth: kyu bhai kyu baat nai karni mere baare mai?

Shehnaaz was confused with his behavior
Wasn't he the one who walked away from her the other day?

Shehnaaz: kyuki tu 1 baar bina baat kiye jaa chuka hai..
Aur jo chala jata hai uske baare mai baat karna pasand nai karti mai

Siddharth was just gulping her words.
He kept an unaffected face but her words were hurting him.

Pammi Ji understood that it is something serious so she made an excuse to meet the doctor and left the room.

Siddharth then went and sat on the table which was kept on the side of her bed.

Siddharth: matlab agar 1 baar koi galti karde toh usko 2nd chance nai deneka?

Shehnaaz: galti unintentional hoti hai Siddharth.. jaan buchke agar koi galat karta hai toh usse galti nai gunah kehte hai.
Aur gunaho ki maafi nai saza hoti hai.

Her words stuck him like a lightning..
All his hopes of having her back were breaking with each and every words of her.

Siddharth: woh sab baatein chod..
Maine 1 mahine tujhse baat kya nai ki toh tu seedha hospital pahuch gai.
Itna pyaar karti hai tu mujhse..mujhe toh pata hi nahi tha...

And everything came rushing back to her..
Her father's pride.. her company is gonna shut.
Her face paled and eyes teared.

Siddharth cursed himself for reminding her about that.

But still he tried to talk to her

Siddharth: Shehnaaz listen to me.. hum dost they yaaar.. kya ho gaya that tera mera 1 common friend hai.. isse humare relation ko kaise judge kar lia tumne ha?

Shehnaaz was baffled..
Asim was just a common friend in between them?
Nothing else?
Did she overthink?

Shehnaaz: what do you mean?

Siddharth: I ment ha mai jaanta hu Asim ko..mere bachpan ka dost hai woh.
Toh?
Tera mera jo relation hai how is it connected to him?

Shehnaaz was confused.. if he was Asims friend then how come he did not know her?
But then she realized that Asim was a very private person... maybe he did not tell him anything about them.

Shehnaaz: tujhe sachi koi connection nai pata humara?

Siddharth: nai yaar.. mujhe kaise pata hoga..tune mujhe bataya kuch?
Fir how can you expect me to know.

Shehnaaz was slowly believing him and thats what he wanted.. it was going great for him.

Shehnaaz: fir tu yeh 1 mahina kaha tha ha?
Uski din kyu clear nai Kia?

He took her hand in his and said

Siddharth: sach batau toh mujhe bahut bura laga tere muh se kisi aur ka naam...
I felt that he is very important to you.
I could not take it that is why I left.
And uske baad 1 bahut important project liye mujhe out of town jana pada..
Aaj subeh hi aya wapas...
Tujhe phone kia toh tera phone switched off aya fir maine Pammi Ji ko phone kia tab unhone batayi teri halat..
So bhaga aaya idher .

Shehnaaz just made an "O" shaped face.

Siddharth continued.

Siddharth: jaan itna toh kya stress ho gaya ha jo tujhe admit karna pada.
Pammi Ji ko nahi par mujhe toh bata..I will help you come out na..

Shehnaaz nodded and told him the entire situation.. which he already knew.. obviously!.

Siddharth: bass itni si baat?
Mai hu na.. yaar meri bhi company hai.. I will invest.

Shehnaaz: Siddharth nai yaar.. I dont want my personal relations in this.. maine Jay jiju ko bhi na bola..

Siddharth: madam meri company ki b koi izzat hai.. aise nai pohchi top pe.
I am offering you a business deal..

Shehnaaz could finally see hope.. little but yes a ray of hope.

Having no other options she agreed.

That's when Pammi Ji entered.

Pammi Ji: chalo ab ghar chalein ya yahi rukna hai?

Shehnaaz: haa yaar beeji ghar jaate hai.. mujhe yaha ki smell nai pasand
(She scrunched her nose and pouted)

She looked so cute that Siddharth wanted  to pull her cheeks and kiss her pout.

That's when the doctor arrived

Doctor: So Miss Gill how are you feeling today?

Shehnaaz: I'm feeling better doctor.

Doctor: okay then I will do the final check up and the you are free to go.
I believe your friend has done all the formalities.. he is in a hurry to take you from here.

He said looking at Siddharth from the corner of his eyes.

Shehnaaz's cheeks turned pink and Siddharth was looking here and there to avoid the awkwardness

The doctor did her check up and then they left for home.

Siddharth dropped Shehnaaz to her car and asked her to rest for the week.
Till then he will get the draft contract made.
Then they could sit and discuss it and make the necessary changes.

Shehnaaz was somewhere relieved that Siddharth was helping her.

Little did she know what was that gonna cost.. little did she know !
