After their meals and chuski.. Siddharth and Shehnaaz decided to walk on the beach for sometime.

It was very late at night so the beach was nearly empty so they removed their footwears and were walking on the shore.

Siddharth held her hand and intertwined their fingers.
Her little palm fit perfectly in his big one..
It was like she was the missing piece of him.

Shehnaaz felt butterflies in her stomach but she did not react because somewhere she was liking his touch.
She was feeling comfortable with him.

They both were walking in silence.
It wasn't an awkward silence but a comfortable one.
They both were in their thoughts.

After an hour of strolling on the beach Shehnaaz broke the silence

Shehnaaz: Siddharth I think ab chalna chahiye.. late ho raha hai.. kal meri bahut important meeting bhi hai..

Siddharth: haan chal.

They both went to the parking and sat on the bike.
This time Shehnaaz held his torso without any hesitation and he loved it.

In next few minutes they reached her home.

Shehnaaz unwillingly got down from the bike.
She was feeling that she was going from her safe zone to some bad zone.
She was not understanding that why was she feeling like this.. she was in peace some time before and now she is feeling restless.
She was feeling that something bad is going to happen.

She told him bye and was walking back home when he held her wrist and pulled her to him.

He held her face in between his palms and kissed her forehead and said

Siddharth: please apna dhyan rakhna meri jaan.

The words came out of his mouth unintentionally.
Even he did not realize when the words left his mouth.
He just wanted to wish her good night but the words automatically left his mouth.

Listening to him she just nodded her head and left to her home.

Siddharth was also feeling some weird fear engulfing him.
Like he is gonna lose someone but he failed to understand.
He shrugged off his thoughts and drove towards his home.

Next day:

Shehnaaz was called for a meeting by one of her investors Mr Mehta.

He was an old man with a lot of money.
He invested in her company when she was already in top 5
He was just about business.
Agar profit hai then unka paisa lagega.. warna tata bye bye.

Shehnaaz always had a very professional relation with him.

When she reached his office, his secretary Megha was already waiting for her..
She took her to his cabin where he was sitting with a very sour mood.

Shehnaaz: may I come in sir?

Mr Mehta: yes Shehnaaz come.. have a seat and thank you for coming over in such a short notice.

Shehnaaz sat on one of the chairs which were placed in front of Mr Mehta.

Then Mr Mehta started.

Mr Mehta: Shehnaaz you are a very hardworking child and also very intelligent.
You always know what you are doing.. I love this quality of yours that is why I decided to invest in your company.
Profit was a factor obviously but the way you worked was a hard pull.
I have always been happy working with you Shehnaaz.
But I think humara safar yahi tak ka tha.

Shehnaaz's mind stopped listening to this.

Mr Mehta was one of her major investors in her business.
If he stops investing then she will face a major money crunch.
She still composed herself and asked

Shehnaaz: what happened sir? Achanak..
Have we disappointed you?

Mr Mehta instantly nodded his head negatively.

Mr Mehta: no Shehnaaz you have not.
But as a company we have thought that we should help the new comers as well you know?
You are already on the top..

Shehnaaz was not understanding his reasons.
He is a "only business "kinda person.. from when did he start doing charity?
But as her company's representative she does not need to bow down.. she will not let her company's reputation go down because of an investor.
She cleared her thoughts and asked in a business tone

Shehnaaz: so till when you need your money back sir?

Mr Mehta: Shehnaaz you need not return my money back.
I have already invested them.
I did not tell you that I am withdrawing my investment I am saying that we will not further invest in your company

This was a temporary relief to Shehnaaz but it was a major setback.

Still she stood up.. shook his hand professionally and turned to leave when Mr Mehta spoke something which alarmed her.

Mr Mehta: Shehnaaz you are a businesswoman and you are very sharp.
Never miss any dots.. always keep them joint in your head..
Because jo dikhta hai woh hamesha hota nahi and jo nai dikhta I am sure tum me woh capabilities hai usse dekhne.
Kabhi bhi apni aankho par kisi chiz ki patti nai bandha beta.
It was my pleasure working with you.

He gave her a fatherly smile and she left.

She was thinking about what Mr Mehta said at the end.
The words did not sound like a taunt.. they seemed genuine.

When she was in her thoughts Farhan Kaka came with her car.

She asked him to take her to Siddharth's office because she was in a very gloomy mood.

She was very tensed with the situation and she knew only he could calm her down.

Shukla Enterprises office.

Shehnaaz reached his office in next 30 minutes.

She met his receptionist and she informed her that Siddharth is in a meeting and she could wait in his cabin.

She guided Shehnaaz to the elevator and with the way to his cabin.

Shehnaaz followed her directions and reached a huge tainted glass door with
SIDDHARTH SHUKLA
written on it.

This was the 1st time Shehnaaz was seeing his cabin because whenever she visited his office before they would meet either in the parking or at his penthouse which is on the top floor of his office.

She was impressed with the interiors of his cabin.
It was huge and was made of glass on 2 sides.
He had a wall size window behind is chair from where the entire city could be seen.
There was a huge glass desk in front of his boss chair.
On the left side there were 2 huge books shelves and on the right side there was a photo frame.
There were 3 guys in the picture.
1 was Siddharth, obviously
Other was Kushal..
Shehnaaz has met Kushal a few times in the past 2 months.
But the 3rd person in the photo made her numb.

Shehnaaz: Aaa..ss..iii..mm.

She could not even take his name properly.
She remembered that awful day..
She connected the dots in her mind..
Ohh noo.. Siddharth Kushal and Asim.

This was too much information for her to process.

She rushed out of the cabin and out of the building to her car.
She asked Farhan kaka to take her home.
She was shocked and hurt.
But still she decided to talk to Siddharth once.
She has always believed in confrontation and would do it this time as well.

After 2 hours of a torturous meeting Siddharth returned to his office.

He had just seated on his chair when his intercom rang.. it was his receptionist

Ring ring

Siddharth: yes?

Receptionist: sir a lady had come to meet you.
But after sometime she left in a hurry

Siddharth was confused

Siddharth: who had come?

Receptionist: she told her name as Shehnaaz Kaur Gill.

Siddharth: where did you ask her to wait?

Receptionist: in your cabin sir.

Siddharth just banged the phone on listening to it.

There was a reason why he met her in the parking of in his penthouse

The reason was his photograph with Kushal and Asim in his cabin.

What if she saw it? And what if she misunderstood him?
No no no.
He cannot afford his baby leaving him.
He has to meet her.

He called Aarti on her intercom

Siddharth: postpone all my meetings for the day.. I am leaving.

He disconnected the call without listening to her reply.

He called her and she thankfully received it.

Siddharth (on call): baby tu office aai thi? Mile bina kyu chali gai?

Shehnaaz: ghar aja.. baat karni hai tujhse.

He rushed to his car and asked his driver to take him to Shehnaaz's place.

Siddharth reached her home in next 20 mins.

He pressed the bell and one of the maids opened the door.

He rushed to her room

Siddharth: Shehnaaz listen to me...

He was cut in between with her question

Shehnaaz: kya tu mere pass Asim ke liye aya hai?
