I know she will keep her self respect above everything, I have full confidence in her , you know it's just a little bit of fear that what if someone starts questioning her character, it's pretty pathetic to hear and bearing that bullshit not make things go in good shape.." he said in worry .

"Hmm I can understand your concern murtasim , it's not easy for you and specially for mariyam to hear that kind of stuff when you did nothing to taint your family but this society is so regressive that make you think you are not the victim but the sinner but what I am saying is don't let that confidence and faith go out of your heart I know she is sensible enough to handle this situation better if she likes someone so be it she is young and mature enough to chose her life partner. Acha na yeh sab chode na yeh dekhein ." Meerab said showing her mehndi cladded hands and then asks softly ..

" kaisi lag Rahi hai meri mehndi ?"

Murtasim ( tucking her strands behind her ear ) : bilkul tumhari tarah , bhut hi khubsoorat .. did i tell you how beautiful and gorgeous you are looking in this turquoise lehnga.. you know what you are looking so damn beautiful that I am not able to describe what I am feeling for you and moreover I am not able to look away from you . This is the power you hold on me .

Meerab : thank you tasim for all these compliments I am grateful that I am able to make you come on your knees just by my looks .. but ek baat baatao pehle toh kabhi compliment nahi dete the , lekin jabse maine shadi ke liya Haan ki hai tab se tum koi mauka nahi chodte compliment dena ka .. kya baat hai ?

Murtasim ( leaning towards her ear he whispers): of course you are that irresistible that I couldn't take my eyes off you . Khair raha sawal compliments toh voh kya hai na pehle aap humari competitor thi , we were loggers head per aap ab Hamare liya usse kahin zayada ahem hain , aap humari hone wali biwi hai - iss gaddi ke janasheen ki hone wali Advocate Mrs Meerab Murtasim khan hain . Toh Zahir si baat hai aapko compliment toh dena banta hai na .. kyun would be Mrs khan Sahi kaha na maine ? He asked her while hitting her his head with her lightly with playful etched on his face.

Meerab couldn't say anything in response to his jab but she gave him a shy smile with the blush gracing her rosy cheeks in return making her look even more beautiful and completely looks down focusing on her mehndi. While Murtasim was all doing is smiling like a loon who won a prize by making his bride blush like a rose 🌹..

Opposite to them Saba was getting her mehndi done while Umair was irritating her .

Umair ( poking her shoulder) : Saba suno na .. suno bhi sabs abhi bhi naraz ho mujha se ?

Saba ( with sarcastic smile ) : Nahi nahi Umair main toh bhut khush hun .. mera best friend mr Umair Hayat ji hai na . Main unse naraz kaisa ho sakti hun .. chahe phir voh Mujhse baatein chupaye ya phir mujha haldi main dabaye hain na ..

Umair ( pouting ) : sorry na yrr Saba please mujha maaf kar do na .. mujha Sachi nahi pata tha voh chudail sach main chudail niklagi.. please talk to me .. ek tum hi toh ho jo mujha ache se samajhti hai .

Saba : nahi ... tum humesha esa hi bolta ho . Iss baar nahi karungi maaf tumhein .

Umair ( showing her puppy eyes with fake tears ) : please na ... please Saba maan jao ...

She looks at his face from the corner of her eyes and barely controls her laugh looking at his crocodile tears 😭. Then making at stern look on her face she says ..

" theek hai theek hai stop shedding your tears 😭 now , per ek shart per maaf karungi , agle ek mahine tak tum kisi bhi ladki se flirt nahi Karoga . Kisi se bhi nahi matlab kisi kisi se bhi nahi , do you get it ?"

Umair ( murmuring to himself ) : hadh hai main isse apna dil ki baat batane ke plans bana raha hun aur yeh hai ki yeh sab soch Rahi hai ki main kisi aur ladki se flirt karunga . Khair girlfriend ko girlfriend banane ke usse Patana ke liya yeh zaruri hai toh thodi mehnat toh karni padegi , toh kar lenga that's not an issue ..

Saba looks at him when she didn't get any answer and finds him murmuring to himself. She hits her elbow of her free hand onto his stomach and says ..

Saba : kya badbada rahe ho apna aap se , shart Manzoor hai toh Haan bolo warna jao..

Umair ( joining his hands in front of her): Manzoor hai meri maa ab toh maaf Kar de ..

Saba looks at him with narrowed eyes and felt suspicious as he agreed with her without any excuse. She feels something fishy and decides to find out ..

Somewhere in the middle of the garden of the khan haveli mariyam goes where nauraz was sitting and sits beside him making other person sitting beside him go away immediately and then she finds a good opportunity to start her conversation with him .

Mariyam: hi nauraz , aap yaha akele kyun baithe hain ?

Nauraz (with a small smile ) : nahi esa kuch nahi hai , actually main yaha kisi ko khas janta nahi hun na toh main kisi ko behwajh pareshan nahi karna chahta tha . Vese aap Murtasim bhai ke aur Meerab aji ka kafi close hain na ? Actually Maine aapko zadatar unhi ke sath dekha hai aur aaj bhi aap unhi ke sath thi .. vese toh I know few people here but they are busy with their partners so I thought to sit here alone .. it's peaceful here too with cold breeze of air . Aur vese bhi ladkiyon se toh main kya hi baat karunga I don't even know them and I just don't know how to talk to them too .. whom I know I had already conversed so dubara kya hi jaun unke pass isliya yahi baitha hun tab se .

Mariyam : ohh it's okay nauraz I can understand your plight and you don't have to explain me so much .. Haan you are right main hun bhut close apna bhai bhabhi ka toh mujha zadatar unke pass hi rehna pasand karti hun . Aur vese bhi agar apko kisi se interact Karna main hichak ho Rahi thi toh wahi aa jate humare pass . Aap bhai ko toh ache se jante hai na ? Bhai bilkul bura nahi manta in-fact he would have been happy to see you there .

Nauraz ( looking intently at her ): ek baat puchun apse ? AAP murtasim bhai se bhut pyar karti hain na ?

Mariyam ( honestly ) : ji bhut zayada ... jaan hain voh humari aur hum unki princess ..

Nauraz : toh phir apko koi problem nahi hai ki voh Meerab aji se shadi kar rahe hain ?

Mariyam ( laughing a bit): oh nahi nahi mujha kyun problem hogi infact main toh bhut khush hun unke liya . They got the best life partners for each other. I guess apko koi bhut badi confusion ho gai hai . Hum mante hain ki hum bhai se bhut pyar karta hai per vese wala nahi jaisa aap soch rahe hain . I think you have thought he is my cousin but that's not true he is my real brother, ek hi maa baap ke bache hain hum . Meerab bhabhi is our childhood friend and my crime partner. Meri aur unki equation bhut alag hai . You know main toh humasha se Meerab api ko meri bhabhi banana chahti thi and see now she is becoming my favourite bhabhi for real . You know I got so excited hearing that maa iss looking forward to make meerab api my bhabhi permanently. Then she tells a bit about their childhood and trios relationship with each other. You know nauraz bhai is like my second father rather than my brother. After our dad's death he is the only one who took care of me , he is my father not only just a brother but I also found so many relationships in him besides him being my brother and father , he is my best friend, my confident. I share everything single thing with him and he does the same .

Nauraz was listening to her very carefully and when she was saying that she loves Murtasim more than her life , it somewhere stabbed on his heart . But when she told him that she is his real sister and he carries a father figure to her and diligently tries to explain him her emotions and equation with him and that instant he understood her emotions. Now one thing is clear to him that she loves her brother but not that kind of love , it's friendly with the heavy dose of affection and possessiveness so he now decides to find out that if she has someone in her life or not .

Nauraz : can I ask you something personal?

Mariyam : ji puchiya ..

Nauraz : kya apki life main koi Aisa shaks hai jissa aap chahti hain ? I mean someone who you love , koi toh hoga hi aapki life main right ?

Mariyam : hmmmm .... Filhaal toh nahi hai koi ... but yes I like someone who is very kind and affectionate 🤗. Mujha unse mila hua zada wakt nahi hua hai per mujha lagta hai ki main unke sath apni life spend kar sakti hun that too in my first meeting itself . You know aaj tak kabhi bhi mujhper esa kisi ka effect nahi hua voh bhi meri first meeting main toh bilkul nahi but as I said he is very nice and something different aura he carries which makes him attractive.

Nauraz ( little jealous.. greeting his teeth ) : kaun hai voh ? Aapna bata Diya kya usse that you like him and want to spend your life with him ?

Mariyam : nahi actually abhi nahi bataya voh kya hai ke mujha nahi malum ki voh bhi mujha utna hi pasand karta hai jitna main ya nahi . Mujha dar hai ki kahin voh mujha reject na kar de .

Nauraz ( looking at her top to bottom) : well mariyam yrr mind mat Karna per aap main na pasand karna jaisa kya hai ? I mean you are one of the most beautiful woman I have ever met. Nature bhi apka bhut acha hai , aap apni family se bhi bhut pyar karti hain , and just like any other fairy tale you are an angel a princess of khan family ... toh I think koi Pagal hi hoga jo aapko reject karega as you have all the qualities a woman needs to have you see beauty with brains . Well agar aap khan family ki princess na bhi hoti toh bhi there is nothing to say no to you after all you are a great person in and out .

Mariyam just looks at his face while he was saying all the praises to her so effortlessly. Inside she was feeling like her heart will jump out of her mouth ripping apart her ribcage while dancing with joy and glee to thumping ferociously all at once .

She just wants to jump around shouting happily after listening his opinion about her . But somehow she controls herself and her expressions too as it was getting difficult to control her 1000 Walt smile from surfacing her face.

As she noticed that his gaze never stopped lingering over her outfit she blushed prettily .. she had worn a beautiful dress that completely matched her personality making her look like a princess.. she was looking different from the other guests present there .

Mariyam's outfit

Mariyam : nauraz aap mera ek personal question ka jawab denga ?

Nauraz: sure ..

Mariyam : aapna kal mujha bataya tha ki aap uss ladki ka wait kar rahe hai jo apke liya bani hai , maan lo jissa aap dhund rahe ho voh agar aapko mili hi nahi toh ? Kya aap apni life nahi jeeyanga? Won't you try to move on from her ?

Nauraz : Aisa nahi hai ki main sirf usi ke liya wait kar raha hun , it's just that kabhi koi mili hi nahi , per Shayad ab Aisa lag Raha hai ki finally koi hai jo mera liya bani hai jo bilkul perfect hai , meri duniya main shamil hone he liya that I have found that girl .

Mariyam ( little disappointed): kaun hai voh lucky girl ?

Nauraz : aap kariya guess ( after slight pause ) vese who is the lucky guy jisne Aapke dil main hulchal macha di hai mohtarma?

Mariyam ( smiling naughtily): aap guess kijiya ..

Nauraz ( frowning ) : not fair mohtarma, mera dialogue mujh per hi chipka diya .

Mariyam : ab kya karein Mr handsome, kuch naya sujh nahi raha tha apko dekh ker .

Nauraz ( raised eyebrows) : are you by any chance flirting with me ?

Mariyam : do you mind by any chance ?

Nauraz : why would I mind agar samne se agar itni khubsoorat princess Mujhse flirt karegi toh ? But apke special someone ko bura nahi lagega ?

Mariyam ( looking into his eyes ) : aap hi bataiya..

Nauraz : aap mujhse kyun puch Rahi hain , apna special someone se puchiya .

Mariyam leans a bit towards him and whispers in his ears .. " unhi se puch Rahi hun ." 

She moves away a little to look at his face and see his expressions . His eyes are about to pop out and his jaw was hanging down in astonishment. The perfect 3 0's are visible on his face .

Mariyam calls him softy but she doesn't get any reply .. again she calls him still no reply . Finally she pinches him on his arm lightly to snap him out of his shocked state .

When nauraz came out of his shocked state he looks happy at her with bright sparkling eyes and to confirm he asks her ..

Nauraz : are you sure and serious?

Mariyam : but I don't think so you are interested? Oh I know why you already have your special someone haina ?

Nauraz ( smiling ) : well you can say like that too . But honestly thank you for the compliment .

Mariyam ( confused) : you're welcome but Mr Ali what compliment did I gave you ?

Nauraz : Arey see na you are such a beautiful and wonderful princess of this family and even that only princess of the family herself comes to me saying that she is interested in me who is just a common man out of ordinary toh yeh toh compliment hi hua na .

Mariyam ( smiling ) : hehehe 🤭.. aap kuch zada hi compliments de rahe hain , I am not even close to any of the princess but thank you for this one though . Well yeh toh bata do mujha mera sawal ka jawab kab milaga?

Nauraz ( looking in her eyes with dead serious expressions) : you .. err.. I mean to say that we don't even know each other yet this closely . So I think let's get to know each other first then decide whether we want this relationship further or not because I don't want to rush it as it will only ruin our friendship and emotions unnecessarily.

Mariyam knows that he is right and understands his concerns about it .

Mariyam ( winking) : hmmm you are right . So as you say Mr handsome I will wait, but I will still hope for a positive answer.

Nauraz says nothing but just smirks 😏 in response to her .

Then after sometime as always our umeed was the most excited woman in the whole group called all the cousins on the stage and started dancing..
