After the fight between the goblins and Direwolves was over, Sasuke and Rimuru were figuring out how they will deal with them or who's going to look after them.

Rimuru: Okay, listen up!

The goblins and Direwolves turn their attention to Rimuru and Sasuke.

Rimuru: So, we're going to have you all pair up and live together!

"Pair...up?"

Rimuru: Do you understand?

Elder: Great Rimuru, what does "pair" mean, exactly?

Rimuru: It means to form groups of two.

Sasuke: In other words, a group each has two in it.

The goblins and Direwolves were confused.

"Groups... of two?"

After they finished arranging the groups, Sasuke and Rimuru proceeded to the next step.

Rimuru: Good! Yesterday's enemy is today's friend! You're all need to work together and get along as friends from now on! Got it?

"Yes, sir!"

Sasuke: Help each other out, and make it work.

Rimuru: So, um... What's going to be important now is food, shelter, and clothing. We should form teams to hunt for food, build houses, and strengthen the village defenses. We'll start with...

Rimuru then realizes that they don't know or remember their names. 

Rimuru: *looks at the Elder* Hey, what are all of your names, anyway?

Elder: We monsters do not normally have names. Even without names, we can still communicate our thoughts to one another.

Sasuke: Is that so? But it's more convenient to have names, so we're gonna have to name all of you. Is that okay?

"Eh?!"

Sasuke: Wha?

Rimuru: Eh?

Elder: N-Name us? A-Are you certain? 

Rimuru: S-Sure.

The goblins and Direwolves were all starting to get excited about getting names for themselves.

Sasuke: *sweatdropped* W-Why are they getting excited all of a sudden? It's just giving names.

All of the goblins and Direwolves formed a line while Sasuke and Rimuru are in front ready to give out names.

Rimuru: Okay, we'll start with you.

Sasuke: So what kind of name fits for an Elder like you...?

Rimuru: Hmm, let's see... What do you call the son you had that died in battle?

Elder: Rigur.

Rimuru: Rigur, huh?

Sasuke: Ah! I know a good name! Rigurd!

Rimuru: Rigurd, that's a good name! 

A bit of power was surging into the Elder's body after he was given the name of Rigurd.

Rigurd: Thank you very much! Rigurd! I'm so moved!

Rimuru: R-Really?

Sasuke: *smiles* I'm glad to hear that.

Sasuke looks at the other goblin.

Sasuke: And as for you, you'll inherit your brother's name: Rigur!

Rigur: Yes, sir!

Rigurd: I'm so grateful that my son has been allowed to inherit the name of Rigur!

Rigurd+Rigur: *bows* Thank you very much!

Sasuke: *smiles* No problem. I'm glad you liked the names.

Rimuru: Amazing, Sasuke-kun, you really know how to name people?

Sasuke: Thanks. When it comes to being a novelist, you gotta think of a lot of names for the main characters in the story.

Rimuru: I see.

Sasuke: You know, if we are going to name the goblins and Direwolves, I have a lot of good names for them, too! Gobta, Gobchi, Gobtsu, Gobte, Gobzo! 

Rimuru: H-Hey, hey, slow down! Just let me keep up on the names you come up with.

Rigurd: Um... We truly do appreciate you giving us all names, but... We are aware that you two have immense magical power, but are you sure it's all right to give us names all at once?

Rimuru: Well, I don't see any problem.

Sasuke: *confused* Power? *smiles* It's fine. It's no big deal for me.

Rigurd: Well, if you are certain...

Rimuru: Who's next?

Another female goblin stepped forward.

Sasuke: Then you'll be-

Rimuru: Haruna!

Haruna: Okay!

Sasuke. Huh. I see that you're getting the hang of naming monsters.

Rimuru: You're not the only one who can come up with names, Sasuke-kun.

After time has passed, all of the goblins have been named.

Sasuke: Well, that takes care of all the goblins.

Rimuru: Next is...

Sasuke and Rimuru looked at the Direwolves. The wolf with a star on his head was the son of the previous Direwolf leader they killed during the fight.

Sasuke: Hey, isn't he...?

Rimuru: The son of the Direwolf boss. I wonder if he holds a grudge against us... Actually...

The Direwolves were waging their tails getting really excited about their names.

Sasuke: I guess they don't seem to be holding any grudges at all...

 The wolf with the star stepped forward.

Sasuke: Hmm... A wolf with fangs... 

Rimuru: Wind... Storm...

Sasuke: Hm? You thought of something, Rimuru?

Rimuru: Tempest... Tempest Fang... Storm Fang... Ranga... Oh, that's it! Ranga! All right! Your name is Ranga!

Ranga: Ranga...

Ranga wags his tail.

Sasuke: Hey, I think he likes it.

Rimuru then felt tense in his slime body as he was starting to melt.

Inner Rimuru: W-What's going on? My body...

Ranga: Great Rimuru!

Sasuke: Eh?! A-Are you okay, Rimuru?!

Rimuru: Everything... is getting... dark...

Rigur: Great Rimuru!

Haruna: Please stay strong!

Rimuru slowly melts because he overused his magicules.

Rigur: W-What should we do, Sir Sasuke?!

Sasuke: I don't really know what's happening, but let's put him somewhere he can rest.

Rigur: U-Understood!

Sasuke then picks up the melted Rimuru as he was struggling to carry him.

Sasuke: Ewww! What is this?! It feels so disgusting! It's like carrying a big bag of pudding!

(Timeskip)

At night time, Sasuke, the goblins, and Direwolves were resting while Rimur was placed in front of the main house.

Sasuke: Seriously, what is happening to Rimuru?

Rigurd: It must have been because he named so many of us at once... Naming us monsters takes up many magicules. 

Sasuke: Magicules? Is that some kind of magic power that would name monsters?

Rigurd: That's right. Naming monsters would require a lot of magicules. 

Sasuke: I see. But when I gave all of you names, why didn't it affect me just like Rimuru? That's strange...

Rigurd: But you seem to be fine, Sir Sasuke. Are you sure you are alright? 

Sasuke: I'm fine. Thank you for your concern, Elder Rigurd. I don't feel tired. The only thing we can do is wait for Rimuru to waking up.

Sasuke was sitting in front of the fire while Ranga was lying on the ground next to him and Rigurd sitting on the other side. Sasuke picks up a pocket notebook and starts writing.

Sasuke: Now then, it's time for me to think of a story I should write.

Rigurd: Sir Sasuke. What is that?

Sasuke: This is my pocket notebook. It is where I write all of my ideas and thoughts of a book I want to write.

Rigurd: Oh, so you like creating stories of your own? That's nice.

Sasuke: Yeah, I love writing stories. It is my dream to become a novelist and make people happy. 

Rigurd: Is that so?

Sasuke looks up at the sky.

Sasuke: Do you see those beautiful stars up there?

Rigurd and Ranga looked up at the sky.

Sasuke: I always look at the night sky every night before I went to bed. My grandfather once told me that when you see a shooting star. you make a wish before it's gone and your wish might come true. That's I wish every night that I will become a great novelist.

Ranga: Really?

Sasuke: But those are just legends.

Rigurd: Your grandfather must know a lot of things.

Sasuke: Yeah...

Rigurd: Sir Sasuke, there's something I would like to ask you about.

Sasuke: What is it?

Rigurd: That red book you have...

Sasuke: What about it?

Rigurd picks something out from his pocket and shows it to Sasuke.

Rigurd: Does this book belong to you?

Sasuke: That book...

Sasuke picks up his Brave Dragon Ride Book.

Sasuke: It's almost the same as mine... *looks at Rigurd* Why do you have that?

Rigurd: You see... It all began three years ago... There was a dark vortex appeared above our world, and as the vortex opens, there were several shooting stars appeared out from the vortex and they were all scattered across the land. Then this strange item landed in our village, and after I felt a powerful aura within this item. Its power is too dangerous and we can't let this one be taken by the hands of evil. That's why we were all protecting it until we find its rightful owner. And that owner... must be you, and I will return it to you now, Sir Sasuke. Please take it.

Sasuke then takes the Jackun-To-Domamenoki Ride Book from Rigurd's hands.

Sasuke: Several shooting stars... I guess there are other books like these somewhere in this world... I have to find them fast.

??????: If you're going to do that, how about I help you out on that one?

Sasuke:?!

Ranga lifts his ears while sniffing as he stands up and lets out a growl.

Ranga: Sir! Something's coming towards us!

Then a dark monster holding a sword walks out from the forest and slowly walking towards them as Sasuke, the goblins, and Direwolves. The fire lights the area, showing the monster where it was standing.

??????: You know, I always thought that this new Saber is going to be someone different, but it turns he's just another novelist. Just like someone I once knew back in my old world.

Sasuke: You... Who are you? What do you want?

Ranga: Sir, should we attack?

Sasuke: No, not yet. We don't know if this monster is here to attack us.

??????: That's right. You should learn to listen to your masters, little doggie. 

Ranga: This guy...!

Sasuke: Calm down, Ranga. Let me handle this. *looks at the monster* Are you here to attack the village, too?

??????: Attack the village?... Hahahahahaha! Sorry, but not interested in that stuff. I just want to fight and beat up strong opponents.

Sasuke: Okay...? So, who are you? What are you here for, anyway?

Desast: I'm Desast. And I only came here to meet you and introduce myself... And also...

Desast points his sword at Sasuke as he ready his stance for battle.

Desast: I want you to fight me. Show me how strong you are... Kamen Rider Saber.

Sasuke: *confused* Saber...?

Desast: You go by that name when you transformed. Now... Fight me.

Sasuke: Why do I have to fight you? I have no business with you.

Desast: Oh, but I do. If you really want to protect those dear to you... then fight me seriously!

Desast dashes forward towards Sasuke and slashes at him, but Sasuke dodges the attack and blocks his sword.

Ranga: Sir!

Sasuke: Ranga! Get everyone to safety!

Ranga: But-!

Sasuke: Hurry up! Just keep everyone safe! 

Ranga: Yes, sir!

The Direwolves take the goblins to safety as Sasuke faces Desast. He takes out his swordriver and attaches it to his waist.

SEIKEN SWORDRIVER!

Sasuke takes out the Brave Dragon Ride Book.

BRAVE DRAGON!

Sasuke inserts the Ride Book on the first slot and unsheathes Rekka.

REKKA BATTOU!

Sasuke: Henshin!

"When the brave dragon and Rekka, the Sword of Flames unite, a crimson blade shall pierce through all that is evil!"

KAENKEN REKKA!

Saber dashes towards Desasts and sends a slash at him, but Desast blocked his attack. Saber kicks Desast away from him and slashes him again making Desast back away. Desast then backs away with a backflip.

Desast: Not bad. But not good enough. You still got a long way to go to get stronger, kid.  

Desast jumps into the shadow and disappears.

Saber: What?! *looks around* Where did he go?!

Desast: Over here.

Saber: *gasp*!

Saber looks behind him and Desast jumps out of the shadow and sends a powerful slash at Saber making him fall down to the ground.

Desast: Hey, hey, hey, is that really all you got? You don't look so strong. 

Saber stands up.

Saber: I'm not done yet...!

Saber dashes forward and slashes Desast again. Desast blocks the attack but Saber spins and slashes at Desast making him step back. He turns around and sends another slash at Desast several times and he hits his back on the tree.

Desast: That's it! That's more like it! Show me more!

Desast disappears again in the shadow and reappears on the other side.

Desast: Show me your full strength, Saber. It's time to finish this.

Desast ready his stance with his sword, and then...

Desast: ... Calamity Strike.

Desast leaps into the air and spins around towards Saber.

Saber: This is bad...!

 Sabers inserts Rekka back into the swordriver and activates his finisher.

HISSATSU DOKUHA! 

DRAGON! ISSATSU GEKI!  F-F-FIRE!

Saber: Flaming Dragon Crushing Kick!

Saber jumps into the air and performs a flying kick with flames surrounded on his right foot while Desast is in the air and executes multiple magenta energy slashes with the Grude Dent towards Saber.

As they both clashed with their finishers, it created an impact with a little shockwave and they both fell to the ground grunting in paint as Saber was forced out of his transformation.

Sasuke: Argh...! So this is what pain feels like in a real battle...

Desast: Hahahaha... Don't worry, kid. You'll get used to it.

Sasuke and Desast sit up and looked at each other.

Desast: You're really are serious about protecting the weak, huh? Especially those puny goblins from earlier.

Sasuke: Huh?

Desast: You are a worthy opponent. Just relax. I'm not here to pick a fight with you. I'm going to help you get stronger.

Sasuke: And this is how you help me? Starting an attack all of a sudden?

Desast: That's what I always do. Get used to it.

Sasuke: You know... You're not so bad yourself for a monster like you, Desast. We might even become good friends.

Desast: Oh, shut up. Don't get the wrong idea. I don't do nice things for people. And I'm not good with kind words either. Just accept my help already, you idiot.

Sasuke: Yeah, yeah, I accept... If this is really going to help me get stronger to protect everyone, then I'll be counting on it.

Sasuke and Desast then heard their stomachs grumbling for food.

Desast: Damn... All of this fighting makes me hungry...

Sasuke: ... You want some fried fish? We still got plenty.

Desast: ... Yeah. Give me three.

(Three Days Later...)

Rimuru was still inside the main house as his recovery was complete.

Rimuru: Full recovery!

Haruna: Oh, Great Rimuru! Good morning!

Rimuru: Y-Yeah...

Haruna: You seem to be all better.

Inner Rimuru: Who's this?

Haruna: I'll go get Elder Rigurd.

Rimuru: Uh, okay.

Haruna went out of the main house.

Rimuru: Does this village have a girl that cute in it?

Sasuke: You finally woke up. It's been three days since you enter sleep mode.

Rimuru looked next to him and saw Sasuke reading a book.

Rimuru: Sorry for the wait... Hey, Sasuke-kun. Who was that cute girl?

Sasuke: That girl just now? That was Haruna.

Rimuru: What?! How did she become like that?!

??????: Great Rimuru! Have you awakened?!

Rimuru: Oh, Rigurd! That woman who... was... just... Eh?! Who are you?!

Rigurd: I am Rigurd.

Rimuru: What happened in the last three days?!

Rigurd: It's because you gave us names! 

Rimuru: Just from that?!

Rigurd: Becoming a monster with a name raises one's rank as a monster and causes one to evolve!

Rimuru: I-I see...So that's why you were all so happy just to be getting names. No wonder that sucked my magicules dry...Wait, why didn't Sasuke-kun get affected as I was?!

Rigurd: Hm, that's strange... He's been doing fine for the last three days.

Sasuke: I also thought about it, too. And I don't really know why or how it's possible.

Rimuru: You cheater! You have some kind of cheat magic within you, didn't you?!

Sasuke: No, I don't.

BOOM!

Ranga burst into the house to see how Rimuru was doing, at the same time, Rigurd pushed to the side.

Ranga: Master, allow me to express my utmost joy at your recovery!

Rimuru: That horn...That star on your forehead...You're Ranga, right?

Ranga: Yes!

Ranga starts wiggling his tail faster and created a powerful wind making Sasuke and Rimuru go flying in the whirlwind as the house got torn apart.

Sasuke+Rimuru: WWWHHHOOOOAAA!!!

Everyone was really happy that Rimuru was fully recovered. The goblins have evolved into Hobgoblins, the female goblins have evolved into Goblinas, and the Direwolves have evolved into Tempest Wolves.

Rimuru was sitting on a tree stump while Rigurd and Sasuke were standing beside him and Ranga lying on the ground. Sasuke then noticed Rimuru wearing an old man's mustache.

Rimuru: (old man voice) *sigh* Right, it took five minutes for all of you to quiet down.

"..."

"..."

"..."

Inner Rimuru: They didn't get my best joke?!

Rigurd: Great Rimuru, what do you mean by that?

Sasuke: Oh, for the love of ti-I mean, give me that mustache!

Sasuke rips the mustache away from Rimuru's face and throws it far away.

Rimuru: No! Mi Mustache!

Sasuke: Can we just get on with this, Rimuru?

Rimuru: Fine... As you can see, we're a huge family now. So to avoid problems, I think we should set some rules.

"Rules?"

Rimuru: There are three rules. I'd like you to uphold them, at the very least. First, no attacking humans. Second, no fighting amongst yourselves. Third, no belittling other races. That's it.

Rigur raises his hand.

Rigur: Sir!

Rigur: Why aren't we allowed to attack humans?

Rigurd: H-Hey! Rigurd!

Rimuru: It's all right. The reason is simple. It's because I like humans. Just like Sasuke-kun, because he's my friend. That's it!

Rigur: I see! Now I understand!

Rimuru: Huh? You... understand? Really?

Sasuke: Now that's a reaction we didn't see every day.

Rimuru: Um, so listen... Humans live in groups. If you mess with them, they could retaliate in a big way. And if they come after us in earnest, I doubt we could handle them. Besides, getting along benefits us in lots of ways, anyway.

Everyone nodded.

Sasuke: Any other questions?

Gobta raises his hand.

Gobta: Me!

Rimuru points at Gobta.

Rimuru: Gobta-kun!

Gobta: What do you mean by "no belittling other races"?

Rimuru: Well, you've all gotten stronger by evolving, right? It means you shouldn't let that get to your head and push weaker races around. Don't make the mistake of thinking you're better than them. You don't want them getting stronger themselves and retaliating someday, do you?

Gobta: Got it, sir!

Everyone nodded their heads.

Rimuru: That's about it. Do your best to follow those rules.

Sasuke: Do you all understand?

"Yes, sirs!"

Rimuru: Also...Elder Rigurd, I declare you the Goblin Lord. The lord of Goblins!

Inner Rigurd: Lord?!!!

Sasuke: Lead your village well...Lord Rigurd.

Rigurd was crying hard in tears as he bows in front of Sasuke and Rimuru.

Rigurd: Yes, sirs! I, Rigurd, accept this responsibility on pain of death! 

Rimuru: Good. We're counting on you.

(Timeskip)

Sasuke and Rimuru gave them jobs to all the Goblins. They assigned a team to keep watch on the surrounding area and a team gathering food. It doesn't look like there'll be any problems at all. The problem was...the team that builds houses and the team that makes clothes. The "shelter and clothing" part of "food, shelter, and clothing."

Rimuru: I wouldn't call that a house.

Sasuke: I hate to admit it, but... Yeah, this is not a perfect house. No offense, by the way.

Rigurd and Rigur felt embarrassed as they both sweatdropped.

Then the house collapsed even though it was already rebuilt.

Rigurd: This is embarrassing.

Rigur: Forgive us...

Rimuru: And as for your clothes...

Rimuru looks at Haruna.

Rimuru: *blushes* I-I think it's a bit too revealing!

Sasuke: Hey, Rimuru... Don't tell me... 

Sasuke steps away from Rimuru a little.

Sasuke: Is that really your liking?

Inner Rimuru: Ah! Oh no! He knows?!

Rigur: There is no one here with the skill to make them.

Sasuke: But if you can't make them, couldn't you get some from somewhere?

Rigurd: There are some with whom we have attempted to trade a few times. Aside from clothing, they are also quite skilled, so they may know how to build houses, too.

Rimuru: Well, we're getting nowhere this may, so maybe we should go see them.

Sasuke: Who are they? Where are they from?

Rigurd: They are the Dwarves, and they live in Dwargon.

Rimuru: Dwarves?! You mean the famous masters of metalworking?! Sasuke-kun and I will try going to Dwargon. Rigurd, can you look after the village while we're away?

Rigurd: Yes, sir! Leave everything to me!

In the forest, Sasuke was picking up a few books he wanted to bring and read on his trip to Dwargon. While Sasuke was packing, Desast appeared behind him.

Desast: Leaving already?

Sasuke: We'll only be gone for a while. We were only going there to recruit a few dwarves who can help us rebuild this village.

Desast: ... Hey, that little blue slime you're hanging out with... Is he strong?

Sasuke: I don't know... But even if Rimuru's just a slime, I know he's strong...

Desast: Oh? Now this is something I gotta see.

Sasuke: Alright. I guess this is everything. *looks at Desast* So, are you coming?

Desast: Nah. I'm gonna hang in this forest for a while. Things will get boring if the village is destroyed. I want to see what that slime is capable of.

Sasuke: Of course, you want to fight strong opponents.

Desast: And also, there's another thing you have to know. And you might be interested in this.

Sasuke: What is it?

Desast: You're not the only one who has a powerful sacred sword. You might meet some people in Dwargon who possess the same weapon similar to yours.

Sasuke: What? You mean, there are others who have weapons like mine? How did you know about that?

Desast: You'll see when you get there.

Sasuke: I see... Then, see you later.

Sasuke walks out of the forest and Desast says his last words.

Desast: ... Don't you dare die. Got it?

Sasuke: ... *smiles* Yeah, I know.

Sasuke then continues walking away leaving Desast alone.

Desast: Now, then...

Desast pulls out... a red Storm Eagle Ride Book.

Desast: I wonder when I will give this to him...

Sasuke, Rimuru, Rigur, Gobta, and the rest of the goblins were packing for their trip to Dwargon.

Rimuru: All right! We'll see you all later!

Sasuke: Take care of yourselves.

The Goblins waved their goodbyes at Sasuke and Rimuru.

"Goodbye!"

Rigurd: Safe travels, Great Rimuru, Sir Sasuke!

And so they left the village to go and meet the Dwarves. They were told the Dwargon place was a pretty big city, and it even has a king. And Sasuke was really excited about how his journey will go on.
