LIZA WATSON DOES IT AGAIN!

Parish fashion week was six days ago and we already know whose clothes everyone wants to wear. Everything from off-shoulder tops to square-cut pants, we want it from the Liza Watson collection. The fashion show that took place during the last few days of the week-long event surely made it worth the wait.

Watson's collection was filled with pretty patterns and colors of pastel. This collection was called The Language of Flowers. Aside from the beautiful collection done by one of the most successful women in the fashion industry, her clothes were graced by models of different sizes and races! Now, that is diversity.

The young designer shared that she was nervous days before her own show.

"I had a lot of things going through my head. I'm pretty big over-thinker and most of my friends might say that I'm a huge drama queen and a control freak but really I just like to make sure everything goes right as planned."

And her control-freak nature gave her a very flawless show. What calms her nerves every show? Here's what she has to say:

"When we're preparing, I lose all my nerves. It's like I'm a different person because I stop fidgeting with my fingers and start calling out orders to people to get the models ready and the job done. And of course, my friends and family. I'd probably be in a mental hospital if it wasn't for them."

Most of her friends could not make it that night but her father and grandparents were present in the front-row seats, cheering her on as Liza bowed humbly during the parade. Unfortunately, Liza's confidante and long-time friend, Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman, was not in attendance unlike her past fashion shows. When asked about this, this was what she had to say:

"Chad is a very busy man because he's finally getting the recognition from the world that he deserves. I know he's very proud of me, just like how I am with him. We might have very busy schedules but we'll always make time for each other. Everyone should go buy tickets to see Black Panther because it will make you think about responsibilities, freedom, family, and many more. Also, so many beautiful people are in it!"

Our short interview with her ended with a happy note with the designer stating that she would be back in Los Angeles to attend the world premiere of Black Panther. Watson also serves as the head stylist and costume designer for the same movie.
