They were surrounded by huge mountains of snow and ice. There was a storm coming up and Calum wanted to find shelter as quick as possible because he knew the snow storm would be heavy.

"BLOODY BASTARD!" Michael yelled as one of the soldiers threw a snowball at him and chuckled.

"What's wrong?" Calum asked.

Michael groaned as he made a snow ball himself. He wasn't in the mood and Michael was having an anger episode.

"C'mere here you pig!" Michael spat as he got ready to throw the ice ball but Calum stopped him.

"Mike...stop, we gotta go before it's too late" Calum said.

Calum hugged Michael in form off cooling off. Michael was breathing heavily, he was mad. He could be mad at the smallest things right now. He had anger issues. But everyone had issues, and anger was part of it.

Michael dropped the snow ball and started walking again as he stepped away from Calum.

Calum thought it was a little rude, but decided not to say anything. Instead he gently linked their pinkies as they walked.

"You know" Michael suddenly started. Calum hummed. "I have never liked Ashton" Michael said. "Can we not talk about him" Calum said.

"Well what do you wanna talk about?" Michael asked. "I don't know anything besides this" Calum said sighing.

"Well then...where is Abriel?" Michael asked. "I don't know to be honest, I hope he's okay" Calum said. "Excuse you?" Michael said. "Pardon?" Calum said. "Did you just say 'I hope he's okay'?" Michael asked.

Calum nodded and Michael immidiately felt his forehead. "That's a fever" Michael said and Calum pushed him away playfully.

"No but...they are still family" Calum said. "I'd kill them" Michael said. "But would you?" Calum asked. Michael nodded surely. "Even though they have treated me horrible, I wouldn't be able to kill them" Calum said.

"Hey I have always wandered.." Michael said. "Yeah?" Calum said. "Where is your father and where is your mother?" Michael asked.

"My father left for the great first war so I never knew him and Abriel always said to not question about my mom" Calum said and smiled.

"Aw Cal" Michael said as he putted his arm around Calum's shoulder. "It's fine" Calum said.

"So if y-"

"LOOK OUT!" A soldier yelled as he pushed Michael aside from the snow that was falling from the mountain. Michael fell forward onto the ground.

Crack

Michael's eyes widened. "Uhmm guys.." Michael said as he stayed still.

"We're walking on ice" Michael said. "Oh no" Calum said as he stood still.

"No no no" Calum shook his head. "What's wrong Cal?" Michael said. "I-I can't swim...if this ice breaks I'll be a dead man" Calum said.

"We'll be okay, just lay down onto the ice" Michael said. Everyone looked weirdly at Michael. "You will spread your weight over the ice, this will give a less chance of it breaking" Michael said.

That made sense.

Everyone layed down onto the ice. "Alright, we will crawl slowly towars that end!" Michael yelled so everyone could hear. The storm was getting louder.

"Yet we have to hurry because those snow mountains could break any second!" Michael yelled.

Calum was breathing heavily as he stood still. The ice will break and he'll be dead. The ice will break and he'll be dead. He repeated it while looking down at the dark water underneath him.

He didn't notice everyone had already crawled his way infront off him.

"Calum come on!" Michael yelled. Calum swallowed hard before nodding. He started to crawl his way towards the edge. They were already there! How did they do that so fast?

Calum could hear the cracks around him, it petrified him. He started panicking again. Especially when the ice mountain broke lose.

Calum was shaking as he began crawling faster. "No no no no" Calum panicked. "Calum just run!" Michael yelled. There wasn't any more time for crawling. Calum obeyed as he stood up and started running.

The other mountain broke lose aswell which made it harder to see. The ice storm was blocking his view. He had to run faster..

Crack

Crack

His eyes widened as he knew he had failed.

His last view above the water surface was Michael running towards him and the two snow mountains collapsing against one other.

He was seperated.

He was gonna die.

He fell trough the broken ice into the dark waters. His life was flashing trough his head. One of it being Ashton and he had to confess:

He hated him, he really did. Yet Ashton was his life once and...will miss him? No.

Michael, he'll miss Michael. He was the bestest friend he had ever had, his only friend also.

Now that the ice was freezing faster, Calum would froze to death.
