He had forgotten.

"Calum..meet Michael" Marcel said. "I know him" Calum said as he gulped. Michael stood up with a smile of delight.

He walked over to Calum and stood there for a second before pulling him into a hug.

"I have been looking for you" Michael whispered. Ashton who was standing at the side didn't like Michael. He crossed his arms.

"Why did you come look for me?" Calum whispered.

"Because..I-..care about you" Michael said as he pulled back and grabbed Calum's shoulders.

"Let them have their time" Marcel said mentioning towards Ashton and cracked his knuckles.

Ashton huffed before following his father, but not before glancing one more time at Calum.

"I care about you too Mikey.." Calum said softly. "Then why'd you leave me?" Michael asked. "Because I couldn't stay there Mikey..." Calum said and lifted his shirt. Michael sighed and brought the end of the shirt down.

"I get it.." Michael said and nodded. "But..come with me...we'll run away together" he said and smiled as he cupped Calum's cheeks.

"I'd love to...but I can't" Calum said. Michael putted his hands down. "Why?" He asked, he didn't like it when things didn't go as planned.

"I'm..I bonded with someone here.." Calum said almost whispering. "You-.." Michael chuckled "what!?" He asked.

"Yes..Ashton...his name is Ashton" Calum said as he now cupped Michael's cheeks.

"Calum..don't you get it!?" Michael said grabbing Calum's wrist and held them thight. "I'm-..in love with you!" Michael said. Calum's eyes widened.

".." Calum wanted to say something but he didn't know what.

"Say something" Michael said and shook Calum's wrists.

Calum shook his head "I-..". Michael sighed "c'mon, use your words Cal" Michael said as a sad expression covered his face.

Calum didn't wanted to do this..

"I'm not in love with you!" Calum said as he broke Michael's heart. Michael chuckled nervously "w-what..you're joking right..Cally?..you're so silly" Michael said as he started letting go of Calum's wrists.

"No Michael, I don't like you that way" Calum explained.

"B-but everytime we w-" Michael stopped himself and face palmed himself. "How could I be such an idiot?" Michael said to himself.

"I'm sorry Mikey.." Calum whispered seeing the hurt in Michael's eyes. "But I can't just love someone out of the blue" Calum explained.

"Why is Ashton any good?! What does he have what I don't own?!" Michael said as he started getting jealous.

"Michael don't do tha-"

"I've kept you company and I've shown you love in anyway possible when no one else would.." Michael said as he shook his head.

"I know and I'm very thankful for that Mikey..that means a whole lot to me and so do you...I love you, but not romantically.." Calum said as he cupped Michael's cheeks.

"..can I atleast have a kiss...before I go?" Michael said looking down at Calum.

"Mik-"

"C'mon Cal, on the cheek then it's the only thing I'll have to live with..." Michael pleaded.

Calum nodded before standing on his tippy-toes and pressing a kiss onto Michael's cheek.

"..thank you.." Michael said queitly. Calum then saw a tear come down Michael's cheek. "Don't cry Mikey.." Calum whispered softly.

"I'm not crying..this place is just dusty" Michael said being his cheesey self again.

"Idiot" Calum said playfull as he wrapped his arms around Michael's torso. Michael relaxed and sighed before he bend down to hold Calum close to him.

"I have to go" Michael suddenly said. "..right now?" Calum asked as he pulled away from the hug. Michael nodded "yes" he replied.

"Can't you stay a little longer..I've missed you Mikey.." Calum said.

"I missed you too Calum..but I need to do some stuff.." Michael said. His responses turning into a stern cold response.

Calum sighed "when will I see you again?" Calum asked.

"..I don't know..soon" Michael said. "Michael if this is about the fact that you're in love with me and I can-"

"Stop" Michael said. Calum obeyed and didn't say anything.

"I'm gonna go.." Michael said as he walked past Calum.

"Michael" Calum said softly. "..I still have your feather..It will stay on forever..Mikey..just like you will stay in my heart...I hope you do in return" Calum said on the brim of tears. Michael had stopped in his tracks.

"Michael.." Calum said softly. His hands were shaking and his heart was racing so fast. Was he really gonna leave him?

Michael didn't turn around. Michael didn't say anything and Michael walked away from Calum. As soon as he dissapeared, Calum felt that cold emptyness all over again.

The tears were streaming down his face as he held onto the necklace Michael gave him with the feather around his neck...
